How many new files have you started?

I've only played through once as well, I tend to not restart current Pokémon games at the time period they are released. But I feel when X/Y is considered old I will! I usually restart my old Pokémon games (gen 5 and lower). If I do restart x/y, it will probably be for the sake of nostalgia and/or just collecting Pokémon again.

 

So far, only one file in X, and one file in Y, both were just normal playthroughs. I'll be sure that if/when I restart my Y Version, it'll be some kind of special challenge. I like the Kalos region a lot.

 

I don't end up restarting my games much, actually. I restarted X/Y back at the start of my VGC career so I could SR out my own Zapdos, and I recently restarted it again now that I've moved everything on to OR/AS so I could do a Wonderlocke-- which I need to stop procrastinating on. Maybe it's something to do while I mess around with Showdown!'s Battle Dome room. Mmm.

 

Two separate files. One on X and one for Y but I never restarted on either of them. I might restart one of them though, due to the lack of any endgame activities barely.

 

On X I just restarted once but on Y like 3 times lol
The latest Y restart is I wanted to see how it was with a Chesnaught

 

So far, only once because I wanted to swap genders... having to wear a purse was a little too much for me. ; ;

 

I only have one file, mainly do to the fact I never want to restart my current game because of all the memories I have with the file.

 

I've played this game way too many times. I kept my X file intact throughout but I've replayed Y more times than I can count. It was fun though.

Which is a lot of time - consuming fun aparently

 

I've only played it once, haven't even finished it, but I already intend to play it again. I'll probably do it for the nickname bit, and to not worry on competitive battling or shinies first. But before I clear file, I have to transfer all of my shinies~

 

Dozens. I restart after finishing character teams and Nuzlockes. I personally love doing Soul Linked Wedlockes. Those are hard. Sometimes I'll play the game without any Nuzlocke rules and just have some fun, though I often focus on my character teams.

 

I'm on my 3rd file right now. The 1st time, I chose Chespin and the 2nd time I did a Wonderlocke, so I'm currently using Delphox and that's proving to be a lot of fun.

 

Several. Here are all the files I remember, in the order of when I did them:

Main playthrough (Y), second time playing the game
Poison Monotype (Y)
Wedlocke (X), one usage of each healing spot, Set battle style, level limit. Terminated during Victory Road with 10 deaths
Ground Monotype (X)
Red Mono-Color (Y)
Dark Monotype (X)
Wedlocke (X), no bag items in battle, level limit. This was a much better run, completed with 10 deaths
Normal Monotype (Y)
Blue Mono-Color (X)
Some Halloween themed event challenge I did on PC (X)

So that's at least 11 times i've played through these games, haha. You can tell I like them.

 

I lost count. xD I try to go with a different team each time to make things more interesting.

I recently started a new file in Y. I should be playing it but meh.

 

I've only done two gameplays, and the second one's a Wonderlocke because I already played through the game once. Unfortunately, that game and 3DS was borrowed from a friend so I've lost all data for the first run. The second one's my own game.

 

I've played through Pokémon X about 10 times, but I've completed it only 5. I'm doing another one right now, which involves me using Pokémon I haven't used much, like Fennekin, Squirtle and Pancham!

 

I have currently done 3 play throughs of X/Y, but I am planning on doing a fourth just for the sake of trying out new teams. Personally, I think X and Y are the best to test out new teams.

 

I have started 2 times due to the Lumiose glitch. I shouldn't have deleted, but I didn't know they were going to release a patch.
