How often have you replayed the first and second generation games?

I replayed FireRed a crap ton for Master Balls to transfer to my DS games. Besides that, though, I never really replayed Pokémon games.

 

I have played these games at least 20 times back when I was around 6 or 7. It was all in good fun. I think I played the first generation a bit more because my mom bought me the games that I liked the cartridges more of. Idk. I thought the games were amazing nevertheless. I would play hours on end. Best childhood memory.

 

I have replayed the first two generation games a lot more as I should xD My old phone can only do two things (playing music, and playing Gen I/II Pokémon games), so I played a lot of those games on there. Especially Johto has been completely outplayed so many times, to the point where I know the location of every single hidden item in the entire game...

 

Not that often actually...as a kid I would replay Gold version constantly since I loved it so much but I haven't played it at all in many years.

 

Not that much...if at all infact once the GBA games came out more so with the superior remakes i rarely found a reason to sit back and play the GB/GBC games.

the last time i played my red version, "legitly" i use qoutes because i pulled out the Mew glitch to catch it and also used the same glitch to gather some really good mons Level 7 blastoise anyone? and to duplicate my items. then i transfered them to my Pokémon stadium 2 cart and never saw them again.

as for Gold i did play through recently as in years back. i dug it up about a week ago and go figure the battery died.

 

I didn't really replay the first and generation games, after the first play through, I was through with it. But, I do replay Gen 3 more than I should.

 

I've gone through Kanto probably four times all the way through, and started other play throughs a few more time than that, that didn't get all the way to end.

For the second gen.. I played a little bit of Silver, but I only owned Crystal, and played it once. Other than that, I literally didn't play Johto much at all until I got Heart Gold, and played through it almost once. Dropped it, though. .w.

 

Oh god, I've lost count. Silver was my main game that I kept everything on, but I've replayed every other Generation 1 and 2 games so many times just to play through the story with new Pokémon. I love replaying games, that's one of the things I really enjoy doing in the Pokémon games.
