MAY THE ODDS EVER BE IN YOUR FAVOR...

Yes, the next movie in the Hunger Games Trilogy is coming soon, and I being a huge fan of the movies/books cannot wait!

    What's Going On....

Well, the Hunger Games have arrived and Katniss Everdeen and Peta Melark are to reappear on the 75th Annual Games...but what they don't know is what the Capitol has planned ahead...

The games have been 'rigged' to now containing the best of the best as tributes as an attempt to kill Katniss and Peta for showing up the Capitol in the last movie. As seen in the trailer, these tributes know what they are doing, and will do what ever they can to obtain victory. While Peta and Katniss fight for their lives these Hunger Games, others are fighting for them....

Though the Hunger Games continue up-rises have been occurring everywhere in every district. From what was seen in the last movie, they know the Capitol is at tides, and yes they are about to change...
for everything they ever loved, may disappear.

I know how you're feeling, Im so excited and since it comes out on November 22 its like a birthday present since my b-day is on the 21! This is my favorite book in the series, as long as the new director doesn't screw it up it will be awesome!!!

I have watched the trailer, however, my lack of interest when reading that second book has convinced me to not watch the movie in theaters. On top of that, I didn't find the first movie entertaining. It was a good movie in terms of following the book. It wasn't perfect, but what is? The thing that killed this movie for me though, was such a huge requirement that the movie would have been so much worse without it. That's the blood. I couldn't even watch parts of this movie. The "bloodbath" and Glimmer's death were two things that I used my bangs as a shield to avoid watching. I didn't like it. I'm not going to say I would have preferred the movie without blood, but I'm not going to watch the second movie in theaters.

There are so many things I can think of that happened in that book that I wouldn't want to watch at all. To be vague enough to avoid spoilers here, that thing with Gale not far in, and in all fairness, the games were much more extreme in this second book.

What I meant by "lack of interest" though, is more or less the romance. That's a good part of the thing that brought Mockingjay down for me too. When I started reading the trilogy I expected a good page-turner that the first book was. Yeah, there was a little bit of romance in that first book, but it wasn't the main focus like it was in Catching Fire and Mockingjay.

There are people who are into that sort of thing, and just because I'm not one of them, please don't take this as me playing critic.

Bottom line is, I'm definitely not watching Catching Fire in theaters and if I watch it at all it will be with a rental DVD.

Of the trilogy, this is the book that I enjoyed the most so I'm really eager to see the movie. In fact, I may even read Catching Fire again, because, Finnick. <3

I love the Hunger Games very, very much. I was SO pumped to see this, and I saw it last night. The movie was INCREDIBLE. SFX were great, it followed the plot nearly perfectly, and the actors were great. I'd reccomend watching even if you have the smallest interest or almost no interest.
