@Gwoomy can’t appreciate her enough. She’s done a lot for me on the site by making me VIP and stuff. Even gave me 100 PP for no reason. I’ve states my appreciation for her already, multiple times so I’ll keep thsi brief but just know I didn’t forget any of that, Gwoomy.

@awney Awney is great becuase of her constant deidication to making us not feel like crap about our art! She’s just super nice and supportive, and I still vividly remember her raising the art corner to give us compliments

@WolfeyStar Another awesome artists. Mama Wolfey is dedicated to helping us BELIEVE we are good at art. She’ll argue with you day and night and compliment the crap out of you till you give in XD But for real though, she’s very kind and amazing.

All three of these people represent LV’s rep as being a friendly and supportive community very well. And if I forgot to mention people who did stuff for me then please call me the simpler minded Ape I am or you can a shmuck. Either works :/

 

@awney A lot has already been said, but I also wanted to thank you myself. For being such a good friend that I can count on and a person I feel comfortable talking to, even though sometimes I can say things very awkwardly. x)

You've put up with my nagging, and made me more approachable as a user. That's why, to me, Vaporwave (your old username) will always have a small place in my heart.

You probably did it to everyone on our team so that we could all contribute more, but I apreciate when you PMd me and asked me to participate on even more evens. You knew that Pokemkn wasn't my strong suit, but you still asked me to exit my comfort zone, and try some Pokémon related events. I quite enjoyed myself, and thanks to you, I've been trying out some new things.

Oh boy, what to say about this one. A bunch of people have already mentioned a ton of things about you, but I'll try anyways. You've, been such a great friend to almost everyone on LV. Most people are comfortable talking to you, and arent afraid to share their stuff with you. You are a great person, and I hope you stay on LV for a long time.

Many call you the most positive user on LV, and I guess I can somewhat agree with them. You've always been an approachable person, which much positivity to spread. To be honest, at first I was a bit cynical about your words and action. But the more I hung out with you on discord, the more I came to realize that you were sincere. Ever since then, I've looked up to you, and your positivity.

At first, I thought you were an unapproachable admin, who had too much work to do to bother with us. But ever since I've joined the discord chat, It was surprising to see that you're an amazing and funny guy. You've always been so caring for every user on the site, and you're always getting rid of those bugs that appear on the site. Thanks Ben, for everything you've done.

@Morgaine I don't know how to say thank you. I was struggling for a long time with being me and after I had stepped down it was hard to feel like I was still welcome now that I wasn't staff. But you pulled me right back in and showed me how great it was to just be. Thank you for treating me like a person and helping me through my rough times, keeping me here.

@Hraesvelgr Bring it in ya noodle! hugs You are fun and helpful, we don't have the most in common yet I feel like we have become such good friends. Thank you for being a great person, someone I could look up to and be like Wow, I wanna be like Hrae.

Probably outside and having a terrestrial social life, sure, but what is that compared to having Junkrat and all the other incredible people here! One of the realest people I know, and also perhaps my prime lieutenant in my police-state rule absolutely forbidding people talking badly about themselves, helping me to enforce my passion of positive self-worth on all within earshot.

@Jason-Tyler-Monroe Brother, I feel like our bond is strong. Like, strong. And I'm not entirely sure why, though it feels like it makes perfect sense. I know it's not only because of your peerless generosity, but something else unique about you that, in all my articulation and word-smithing, I absolutely cannot verbalize. All I can say is that everything good that you are doing, keep doing it. You are a hero who doesn't wear a cape.

@Barandofl I have a deep appreciation for how real, how sensible, and how honest you are. Strangely those traits aren't as common as they should be, but I suppose that makes you the opposite of common. Noble, perhaps. Even if my positive shininess is different from your own approach to life, always know that you are a champion, and that if you look up to me, that goes both ways. It doesn't matter that it logically doesn't make sense, it's true anyway.

@DemonicKraken You’re cool.

@Laserdragon14 You have a way of making a gent feel respected, and appreciation is a darn good feeling. Even though I'm such a selfish person who values my own self respect heavier than respect from any outside source, I won't deny that your sense of showing appreciation encourages me to do good in the world, which means you are by extension also doing good in the world.

@Gwoomy Learning to draw (my latest endeavor for self-growth, and a measure of my sense of self-esteem as a person true to my word) has been harder than I expected, and you've given me not only some of the most tactile encouragement, but also the most practical advice. Although I'm doing this mostly because I'm pushing myself to, it is also really good to have someone pulling me as well. Thank you for that. If I had someone like you to also work out with, and podcast with, and co-write with, and calculate new baking recipes with, and beatbox with, well, you get the picture. Everyone needs someone like you in their life.

And also @AllOfMyFellowValorians. Spilling my heart here, but previous to my return to LV a year ago this month, I was in a dark place in my life, and while I was dwelling in that place for a long time, it was particularly dark and difficult for the year leading to my return. During most of my terrestrial existence prior to about January, pretty much everything that everyone above has said about me was entirely inapplicable. I was not encouraging. I was not helpful. I was not psychologically healthy for myself or others. It would be untrue of me to say that this is all because of you, but everyone at LV whose words I have read even once in passing have helped to push me to push myself forward in my growth, and for that, I thank every last one of you.

I am going to thank a lot of people who don’t realize how much I respect them. So be warned.

First off, @BraviaryScout thank you for always being a sturdy, reliable pal when I need one. You are a great friend, confidant, and writer. Seriously, you rule.

Next, @JadeFox I appreciate how much you helped ease my introduction to the site. You were always around and I always enjoyed our interactions. Only one complaint. STOP changing your name! I have trouble finding you!

Here’s an obvious one. @Achromatic has been an important part of my experience here since the beginning to this very day, and is the most approachable admin for newcomers. He takes his job very seriously, but is never afraid to crack a joke or make you smile. He does his best to make everyone’s experience here as good as it can possibly be, and for that he has my respect.

@oghond only joined a few months ago, but she made my month of June incredibly enjoyable. There was always something new to do, and my interactions with her never bored me. I appreciate her for passion about her interests and how much fun it is to chat with her.

I appreciate @OzoneFruit for his dedication when it mattered most, and his incredible leadership during Summer Scramble. He almost singlehandedly won us the Scramble by PMing each of us until we all participated on any event we missed. I didn’t even touch an art event until he asked. He turned the tide of battle in a day or two, and all with a friendly smile on his face! His motivation and compassion blended together into the perfect force to drive us to work our hardest. He deserves that MOTM easily.

Anyway, those are the major ones, but I appreciate anyone here who I have interacted with and has made an impression on me. This may be a long one my friend. You have been there for me for both my darkest and finest hours. You have been a true friend and have stuck by me through thick and thin. You have served LV with true leadership and guided me through a rather hairy situation. When I didn't know what to do you reminded me of who I am and what I stand for. You have also been a big help for my giveaways from helping me get the word out to helping me tweak things to make them better. You encouraged me to go for greater things but also helped me see that a staff position may be great but at the end of the day it is just a title; it's the people that make it great and make it possible. We have laughed, we have cried, and we have raged together. I honestly feel like I have known you for much longer than I have and if there is anyone here I would throw down to defend their honor, you are most certainly that person. If I could have a bromance with anyone here, then you are one of my top bromances. You are an important member of LV and I want you to know that I appreciate you. *plays toy story music*

Yeah, this one is a long time coming Sifr. When I came here you were a writer if I remember correctly? We interacted a few times and then you were gone. Man was I sad because I felt like we clicked, like long lost brothers. You came back and we started talking, and boy did we talk. I just feel like we have forged such a strong bond over the last year, I know that like Vigilance you will always have my back. When you got promoted to staff, I just felt like, "Bout dang time!" I figured it would happen and I think, "The rank suit you lieutenant". We have always been able to joke and have serious discussions. Seriously, you have activated my philosophical mode and we have just gone at it in talks of ethics, philosophy, and the greater workings of the universe together and it is always a blast. The fact that I got compared to you once about that just proves that we are two peas in a pod. I like how you don't take yourself too seriously, anyone can talk to you and you are always kind and compassionate to them. You are a great person and I want to say thank you for that and thank you for sticking by me.

Man was summer scramble a blast or what? You worked so hard to pull that off and man did it work. But it wasn't just a team effort. You stepped up to the plate and got us organized, you kept encouraging the team to keep going and kept us participating in events. You were one of the people who helped me win the first shiny hunt by pushing me to go after more. And it was you who showed compassion when I had my "issue" during the event. The whole team showed kindness and compassion, that is true; but you reassured me time and time again that I was contributing even when I felt that I wasn't doing enough. I know that our time together was brief but I really want to continue being friends. You have great leadership skills and I want to encourage you to use and develop them. Thank you Ozone

You have been one of my biggest influences here. For a good long time you were the one who helped me build myself up and you are one of the biggest reasons I have for being here. It's great to still see you here and I may not see you much anymore, but I really want to thank you for all that you have done. You have been my biggest encouragement for attempting to get staff positions and you gave me some of my biggest pointers for improving myself. You made me think about things from the staff's position and changed my whole mindset on how this site works and how I can contribute to it. We have laughed, we have cried, we have video chatted, and I've been and idiot and you still talked to me. You communicated when others weren't around, you acted as mentor and you are a great friend. You have also reminded me about helping other and how to better help others both on and offline. You have been there when I needed someone and I'm sorry that I haven't properly returned the favor. You are my friend and I appreciate all that you have done, so thank you for always being there for me.

Whelp, it's about time that I do this:

@Absolute Zero I sometimes feel like you're the Father that I never truly had. I felt a sense that you were someone that deserved to be respected when I started to call you 'Master' and then felt more of a need to respect you when you asked me to call you 'Sensei' instead. Not only that, you've been willing to help me with my writing and that is something that I've been looking for since I've started with the new ideas. This is just a drop in the bucket of how much I've been appreciating you.

@Arod When I gave you that shiny Charmander, I didn't think that would be a stepping stone towards our friendship. You have been wonderful and kind to me ever since and I'm surprised that you even today, still talk about that shiny Charmander. tbh, I don't have the words to truly say how much I appreciate what you've been doing.

But just in general, when I came to LV, I had thoughts of suicide often and had mental breakdowns what felt like every other week, so I appreciate all of you for helping me get out of that dark part of my life. So in short, I appreciate all of you.
