There are plenty of companies that sell video games, either offline at a store, online, or both. What stores or sites do you go to for acquiring video games? How long have you been doing so? If you frequent a store or site that sells or takes in used games, have you ever gotten any good deals on used games; if so, what?

Usually just Gamestop. My family will occasionally get my brother and I gift cards to Gamestop too, so that increases incentive.

We'll go to large chains like Walmart or Target too if we have gift cards. Usually unless it's a big game we're really hyped about we're reluctant to spend cash.

My brother has taken to ordering games off Amazon recently though.

This is how I usually do it, new games that I know I will be able to purchase I will go to Walmart or Amazon. I don't mind waiting but if there is a chance I could get it now then cool.

But recently I've been finding lots of my favorite older games at Gamestop so I buy them there. But it all just depends on what want, and where I could find them.

Personally, I've always just been able to get stuff at my local Wal-Mart since it's like a 10 minute walk away and I usually get things on day 1, but in some cases I also decided to just pre-order stuff at the EB Games in the city next door. I've only done that a few times though, so yeah, I tend to just buy stuff at Wal-Mart since it's right there and I'm usually quick enough when it comes to purchasing the games I want. :b

I am a big fan of Amazon as well. With my prime membership, that brings me free shipping with good deals. Also, I don't have to leave my house!

I've been buying games at Gamestop for like..ever. I really like how I'm able to reserve/pre-order my copy of a game that's going to be released. I can put it a few payments until release day. That's what I did for Smash 3DS and ORAS this year. Because I don't want to pay for the whole price, I would rather reserve it and put in payments whenever I can.

I pre-ordered White at Best Buy on release day but they actually suck at "reserving" their copies to those that have already bought their copy. When I went to pick up my copy, they had ran out already.

If it's a brand new game, usually Gamestop.

Used, I'll buy from Glyde. If all else fails, Amazon isn't a bad choice. ;)

I but in a store called "Station Game", it is fun because my country's language is Spanish xD.
I bought used games in another place. I know a guy that sells used games for almost any console and has a very good price :)

Amazonnnn. <3 Sometimes. If I get a good deal. It depends. I'm adverse to buying a new game that's €50+, so if Gamestop is running a deal, be it that "Get the game for €10 if you trade in these guys" or if they're doing a sale, I'll go there sometimes. CeX is my other main shop, and is a great place for getting cheap games. I'm a bit picky-choosy in there though. Some games they charge a ridiculous amount for in euro, but when you go to a UK store and convert the sterling into euro, you still get a better deal over there for some things. Like how I got that Batman; Arkham Origins game for €15 when converted, compared to double that amount that they were charging here for the thing. I did use game and HMV in the past, but they've both pulled of the town I'm from now...

I like to use Amazon if I'm buying several games at once, or for games that I cannot find myself and/or not available digitally. Rarely I'll use Ebay, and only if they list brand new, sealed games. I've only done this twice so far, but both times I've been satisfied.

I usually get mine from gamestop, however for a long time, I got questionable games from the flea market.

I buy many of my games physically via GameStop since it's only a five minute walk from my house.. but also order from Amazon often enough when I'm too lazy to go into the store. I go on Amazon primarily when I don't want the game enough to be bothered by potentially long shipping times, haha. These two are my primary source of purchasing games and it'll remain this way for a long while to come. Very reliable! ...well, usually. My local GameStop doesn't seem to have a lot of good things in stock lately. ;x
