I hate when people...

-I hate when people misuse insults. The main example, which you hear on the news and in YouTube comments a lot, is when someone does something terrible, and people call them a coward, even though what was done was not particularly cowardly. It's like some people think that if an action or state of being is undesirable and to be resented, any insult you want to throw at it just works. It really doesn't. Makes you look like a bandwagon-hopping pleb.

-I hate if when people call Lego "Legos". The plural is the same as the singular folks! It's like Pokémon, you don't say "Pokemons" when talking about more than one.

-I hate it when people say "epic win" or "epic fail" or hell, just plain over use the word "epic". Not everything is epic. In fact, most things aren't even close. Find another exclamation, that one is as tired as an old miner.

-I hate it when people talk with a lisp but don't actually speak with one because of a medical issue causing it. You know what I mean. The people who force it and go out of their way to speak with a lisp to fit some stereotype they want to become, when they are actually perfectly capable of speaking without one. It sounds annoying and knowing that it's a fucking act makes it even worse. Stop that shit.

Well that is all I can think of for now but I can be a real hateful bastard sometimes so there will probably be more.

 

I hate when people think it's okay to insult people for their opinion. It's not. You look like an asshole for doing it, and it just brings people down.

I hate when people point out the blatantly obvious.

I hate when companies act like whatever they're making is a brand new product, but it's the same one they made before with one or two major upgrades. (iPhone 4 to 4S for example).

Biggest one. I absolutely FUCKING HATE SPOILERS. You may have seen it, but I have not. Don't ruin the effect by SPOILING IT.

 

I hate people who never can pick sides. I love arguing over stuff and debating probably more than I should, and then someone is indecisive or never picks a side, kinda annoying.

I hate two part movies that people make just to make you pay twice to go watch the same movie

I hate when people annoy you on purpose for whatever stupid reason they have

A rather big one to me right now, showing up in FiM and I'm pretty sure Pokémon too

I hate when people/companies change their games to suit the desires of obnoxious fanbases. It seems thats what fairy type came from, being super effective on dragon... Gamefreak just following the desires of a loud fanbase. I feel like it just ruins games when this starts to happen

 

The thing I hate that lot of people do is when they try to make a come back is that they say "your mom" it is so annoying.

 

* I hate when people chuck their opinions out there without putting any thought into an explanation.
* I hate when people base the entirety of their opinion on nothing more than nostalgia. There are so many better things to base your opinion off of. Even if your favorite, whatever, is because of nostalgia there's got to be more than that to why you like it.
* I hate it when people bash you for your opinion. If you care that much about your opinion and feel the need to yell at people for not agreeing with you then first, make your own list/comment/whatever, and second, get off the freaking internet.
* I hate when people pretend they know everything, about everything.
* I hate it when you just want to be left alone to do whatever and some person decides you're "lonely" or "depressed" when really you're just irritated at them for being there.
* I hate it when people, including myself, say something long and drawn out and think it's really smart then two hours later realize how stupid they sounded.
* When people brag. Just in general, bragging is irritating.
* I hate it when people judge you right off the bat. I had a teacher do that once. Not a kid, a freaking teacher. You shouldn't be a teacher if you take one look at a girl, who hates makeup and therefore doesn't wear it, and decide they can't afford some freaking pens. She asked me if I could when I had a $20 in my pocket. I just pulled it out and said, "Yes I can," and left the room without waiting for any kind of response.
* I hate it when people decide they're going to pretend they know exactly what you're talking about instead of just admitting otherwise and letting you explain, so that a real conversation can be had.
* I hate it when people jump to conclusions, just in general. Jumping to conclusions is annoying, and causes an awful lot of problems.

 

- I hate it when people call themselves sluts, or stereotype items of clothing with sluts, ie: "I'm wearing black socks today, I'm such a slut" THEY ARE SOCKS!!!!!!!!
- I hate it when people just repeat what just happened, like - Someone falls down the stairs- "OMG, and then you fell down the stairs!!" Yes, I was there 2 minutes ago.
- I hate it when people say that their fat, or the need to lose weight, or they want a thigh gap when they're a healthy weight.

 

I Hate Genwunners they are the vain of a true Pokémon fans existence and they completely diss any generation other than one because of their precious "nostalgia" and sadly Pokémon isn't the only series with these kinds of people. (EX:Yugioh)

I hate People who diss things before trying them to even see if they are good.(Kinda like the genwunners eh?)

I hate it when people use or identify themselves with anything having to do with the term swag. Its annoying and its a very retarded way to say someone has style or class.

 

I hate when people try to shove their opinions down your throat. I DON'T WANT TO BE A VEGAN, SHUT UP. (Someone gets that)

I hate when people put words in your mouth. I didn't call YOU stupid, I said I believe myself to be smart.

I hate when people brag about themselves. No one cares that you just beat a game on a hard difficulty.

I hate when people show off their stuff. I don't care about your new laptop.

I hate when people think they're better than others. I really don't give a shit if you're captain of the football team, that doesn't make you better than me.

I hate rumors. Why do you feel the need to spread lies about others?

Finally, I hate, hate HATE when people say "That's fuckin' gay." FIrst of all, from a logical standpoint, an inanimate object cannot have a sexuality. Second, it's not. Gays are not people to make fun of, just like straights. You don't hear people say "That's fuckin' straight." It's not derogatory, and neither is gay.

 

I hate when people lick their fingers after eating something like Doritos and Cheetos

 

I hate when people someone insults your friend, goes on and on, and when you try to stand up for them, they say, "Shut up. Your friend can stand up for themselves."

I hate when people randomly spit.

I hate when people ridicule people because of their eating habits.

I hate when people assume things about others using sterotypes.

I hate when people pick favorites.

 

Let me get this straight: This teacher didn't like you and judged because you don't wear make up.

 

I hate when people double post.

If you want to add something new to a thread you just posted in, edit your previous post instead of making a new one.

 

That's what it sounded like to me. Especially since the next week she gave me a bag full of make-up.
I hope she saw me throw it away on the way out of class.

 

I hate when people think they understand you. They think they know who you are when they really have no idea.

I hate when people ridicule someone for having something they can't help. Not just racism. I mean stuff like medical conditions too.

I hate when people make fun of others for how they dress.

I hate when people feel the need to take a shit on others' happiness.

I hate when people withhold what others' deserve just because they "don't like them".

 

I hate when people just randomly say the word swag for no reason. Seriously, say you have swag and you are proving you are not cool.

I hate when people think they are correcting the teacher, but they are also wrong. I have done this a couple of times myself and I hate myself for it.

I hate when people pretend to be your friend just to make themselves look cool. Yes kid, I lived in America for four years, but I don't like you, so shove off.

I hate when people laugh when someone is dying in a movie. What do you find funny about someone dying, especially when people around you are crying.

 

I do that sometimes, if I find the method of death to be comical or if I really hated the character. As far as movies go, I hate when people talk at the screen and to themselves with little "pearls of wisdom", like "oh don't go in there, ahh you shouldn't have done that! See if that was me I would have..." yeah good for you, it's called a plot device fuckface. Shut up and watch and save your genius quips for that blog you have that nobody reads.

 

I hate it when people randomly dart across the road in front of me when they're fifteen-twenty feet away from a crosswalk with a proper signal. I don't like having to slam the brakes to avoid killing you because you couldn't walk for another ten seconds and push a silly button.

In a similar vein; I hate it when cyclists interpret "share the road" to mean "Just don't hit me and keep an eye on where I am at all times...and I'll just ignore you". Stop swerving in and out of several lanes of traffic like you're in a video game, and WEAR A HELMET. HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SOMEONE ON A BIKE GETS HIT BY A CAR AND THROWN TO THE PAVEMENT? (On a personal note; that happened to my uncle when he was a kid. Split his head and nearly killed himself riding a bike through traffic without a helmet.)

I hate it when I'm in an elevator going up ten floors. To elaborate; I get on at floor 1, push the button for 10. The elevator stops at floor 2, and someone -who is physically fit and not carrying/pulling anything that might be heavy- gets in...and pushes the button for floor 3. REALLY? I understand elevator use for one-two floor hops if you're not physically able or you've got luggage with you, but don't hop in for those tiny one level jaunts when you're quite capable of taking the stairs that're two feet away from the elevator doors.

I hate it when people "back up" in an effort to remain "cool". To elaborate; music thread on a forum I used to be on. One of the frequent posters talked about how terrible and lousy Nightwish and Rhapsody were, while saying Blind Guardian and Epica were "superior metal". I join in the discussion and mention that I like those two as well (though I also like Nightwish and Rhapsody). Two posts later she says "Well Nightwish and Rhapsody suck and Blind Guardian and Epica aren't that great either. If you want really good stuff; look at Burzum." Another new member mentions Burzum being a favorite. Immediately after? "Well I used to be into Burzum, but I realized how bland their sound is..." It's happened with music. I've seen it happen with books, and I've seen it happen with movies as well...and it's rather annoying.

I hate it when people try to pass off insulting language as being "honest" or "blunt". No. You're not being "bold" or "provocative" or "edgy" when you say things that'd probably make Klansmen applaud if not blush outright. You're being offensive and trying to defend what you say by insisting that anyone who complains is just a "whiny moralfag" only makes you look worse.

 

I hate when people, in a desperate attempt to seem "progressive" perhaps, have bullshit double-standards regarding raccial pride. Like when a black person or an Indian person or some other minority stands up and proclaims "I am proud to be _________!" they cheer and applaud, saying things like "bravo, embrace your heritage, it's great to see!" but if a white person proclaims "I'm proud to be white" they react as if you are a Nazi, like you've just committed a hate crime. It's ridiculous and I've run into it more than once. It's like in the eyes of these people it's okay to be proud of who you are as long as it's a minority, if not you'd better not say anything about it.

 

What I hate is when you are talking to some one and they are on their phone sending text messages. Not to mention when you want to talk but every one is on their phones. Awkward.
