If I were a boy...

Uhh..... you don't wanna know how I'd react, but it wouldn't be pretty. Because if I woke up as a female one day, then basically my whole plan for after high school would be gone (Pararescue is males only, at least for now). Plus, I have a girlfriend, so I'd also be homosexual, technically. So I would DEFINITELY switch back. Pros: I'm not really sure if there are any given the way I think and stuff.

 

it would depend, do i simply wake up a different gender? then that means I get some new girl clothes and deal with life, it would likely be awkward, especially in my all boy college apartment. So I'd likely have to move, there would most likely be some religious issues, probably need to get some ecclesiastical advice, but I might have a better chance becoming a teacher, since most of my teachers were female. also I'd have to discuss what we want to do with my girlfriend. In the end I'm sure things would work out. Personally I'd prefer the situation my brother proposed. That every time you sneeze you change gender. Much more fun.

 

I think i would enjoy myself.
I would love to see the world from other sexes side. I have always wondered how it feels to be a girl.

I would do things that women do. Put make up. Dress girly, hell i would even go far as trying to have sex as a female. I think it would be a good experience.

Of course i would get myself to these situations where i would be sexually harrazed and looked down, but i would learn from it. If i would personally know how shit it feels, then i will know not to do it myself ~~not that that i do that anyway~~

I could be a girl for a week and then switch back. I dont know how wonderful it would be to be a woman, but i guess its not as epic as being a man.

Well, I don't think my overall personality would change, and I'd probably choose to be a tomboy because I'd still want to keep my "boyish/manish" interests, and I don't exactly want to deal with cosmetic stuff.

Pros? I might take interest in more things, whether they're considered "girly" or not.
Cons... I'd probably get more attention public than I'd ever want. I'd have to worry more about creeps, stalkers, pedophiles, and all the works. Maybe I'm just exaggerating, but eh.

Yes, I would want to switch back. Not because I dislike or have a problem with the opposite gender, but because I want to keep what I was born with until the very end. Besides, my personality in a female character would be a complete turnoff, to tell you the truth. I'm already considered to be boring by a lot of people as it is.

 

What would I do, if I woke up as a boy...

I think I wouldn't mind it. Being a boy has lots of advantages over being a girl. I always was more of a boyish kid, anyway.

 

If I woke up one day as a male I'd be so damn happy! My lifelong dream of being male would come true and I wouldn't have to go through surgery or hormone treatments (which are not allowed due to my religion) or be doing anything wrong in trying to express myself as male since I would definitely be one! (which is also not allowed in my religion).

I believe that my behaviour would definitely change; I think I'd be more outgoing but I'd treat the ladies with respect - as I normally do as I am now - and hopefully get to do what I actually wanted to do which was act!

Life would also become difficult since I don't really understand the male thinking processes when it comes to other males. I know that'd be really different...

 

Well, I've always wondered what it would be like to be a female... But not willing to go through surgery or anything drastic. I've wondered what it'd be like to wear a dress, use makeup, et cetera.
I think I'd roll with it. See how things went. I mean, being a girl doesn't seem all that bad!

 

I would:

1. Admire my hairless legs
2. Do voice impressions of female characters
3. Take selfies of me being adorable
4. Hope I change back before anything messy happens

 

Pros of being a girl for a short amount of time instead of a guy... I'd be able to write female characters more realistically... I wouldn't feel awkward wearing clothes themed around shows like Madoka Magica (especially his awesome Madokami x Homucifer shirt that I saw once).

Cons... A lot... Clothes I like wouldn't fit like they should... I'd probably feel awkward getting used to features of anatomy that are different... Clothes wouldn't fit like they should... It would feel weird liking the girls I like at the moment cause... you know...

I would want to change back ASAP...

Right away, I'm seeing only advantages to becoming a girl. There are so many idiots that pester me every day that I can't do a damn thing about because I'm a tall, bearded, very intimidating male. If I suddenly became a female, the way society views me would be completely different. I could finally get away with simply throwing a violent punch into their faces, because I've been wanting to do that for a very long time.

Aside from being able to get away with more things, I can also carry a purse around without looking stupid. I could finally carry all the crap around that I am forced to shove into my pockets. Heck, I could even get a tazer or knife and put that in there, too. If anyone tries to mug or assault me I can just whip a pistol out of my purse and be like, "Ha, didn't see that coming, did'ja?"

I will admit that I wouldn't be looking forward to suffering under the horrors of the menstrual cycle. Also, the stereotypes against females in gaming would get annoying whenever I try to play online. Otherwise, I don't see how this could be too bad. I would want to change back eventually, but I wouldn't be freaking out or desperate to change back. I would be upset if I couldn't return to my original gender, but it wouldn't destroy my life.

 

Hmm... I honestly think i would flip out. I dont wanna start an argument here, but i personally am against homosexuality, so with a boys mind I'd be against dating guys, but with a females body I'd be against dating girls. Pros: I can't think of any non-perverted reasons to want to be a girl, which those don't apply to me anyway. Cons: I'd have to make all my friends all over again, as I'd look like a different person, I'd have to try and explain it to my family, and everyone else I'd met. How about I'd be scarred for life when i got dressed, showered, and went to the bathroom. I would change back the second i got the chance.

 

I would probably freak the hell out. I would not want to be a guy, though I already have the dirty mind of one xD

 

If I woke up and became a girl, I would act the same as before, I would just be a girl. But I would probably switch back.

Well, first of all, I'll be realistic, I'd be kind of thrown off balance, and might spend the day getting used to my new body. It would also be pretty awkward
After getting used to it, I'd probably spend some time trying using this unique opportunity understand girls even more, so as to better understand humanity as a whole.
As to my activities, I would continue on with what I normally do, not caring as to what society wants me to act. Why should being a particular gender give you permission to do certain things? Of course you can't give birth if you're a guy, but apart from physical limitations, no one should be allowed to dictate your actions based on gender. Being a girl would not automatically make me like pink.
I must admit I would be a tad disturbed if I could never return to my former gender. But I don't have a love life so I think I could probably live with it I didn't have a choice.
Though one thing I do fear is having to live through cycles, like the people above me. Women are strong to bear such torture, respect!

 

This topic is really intriguing, reading some of these posts have kind of been an eye opener to the possibles effects of a gender swap. Honestly if I were to change into a guy, I'd be kind of weirded out at first, but I guess I would eventually adapt and try to learn how to live life in a guy's shoes. Some benefits I can see from being a guy is that for one thing I wouldn't be judged as often for my appearance as girls tend to have a LOT more expectations than guys when it comes to their demeanor (I know I'm kind of biased here). I wouldn't have to worry about running outside by myself as guys aren't usually the targets of attacks (even though they sometimes are, its just not as common). Additionally, life would have not as many pressures. I wouldn't have to worry about giving birth for one thing, and I also would become stronger as well. I always thought it was kind of unfair for girls to be not as good at running than guys on an advanced level, so I would probably enjoy the additional stamina I'd have from being a guy. However, I wouldn't choose these benefits from what I already have experienced as a girl. I'm comfortable the way I am now, and although it can be tough at times, I'd rather stay as the gender I am. It would definitely be a unique experience, but I'd realistically want to change back within a day or two.

 

I would be really surprised. I'd probably freak out a little bit too. But I think overall...I could get used to it? I am happy being a male, I have no problems being a male and I think guys are very lucky not to have go through some of the pains that women do, so I think I'd want to be back to my usual self right away.
