If you were to remove a character from ORAS, Who would be?

Looker. Now, I love Looker, he is easily one of my favorite characters in the entire franchise, but to have him come back as a lost soul with no memory is just so depressing. Either give me the funny, smart and philosophical Looker I've come to know and love, or don't give me Looker at all.

 

I love Looker, but besides from getting a mega stone from him, he hasn't really done anything spectacular in these games. So yeah, I'd remove him too.

 

I'd remove Mr Bonding. That scene of him being created was too weird and unexpected for my taste.

 

Mr. Bonding and Looker are much more suited in Kalos, although I have no complaints of them temporarily hopping regions. Hoenn and Kalos are supposedly neighboring regions, so at least it makes some sense.

 

I am honestly not a fan of your rival, May/Brendan. I would much have preferred them having a lesser role and Wally being your main rival, but maybe that's just me. I've never liked them, and I don't like how their friendship was kind of forced on you in ORAS.

 

I personally didn't like Lisia. I just thought she was pretty annoying with her weird movements. She was cool, but honestly, I could do without her.

 

I actually agree with the above posters and say that Looker's role in OR/AS was completely unnecessary and unneeded. Looker is awesome, one of my favorite characters of all Pokémon games, but he really didn't need to make an appearance in OR/AS. He was in X&Y already, that was enough.

I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon and say Looker. He doesn't seem to have a clear purpose in the game and I frankly think that he should stop returning. I don't like him and he is overrused way too much by GF.

 

I agree with everyone that says Looker. Even Though you get audinite (which surprisingly is actually a good mega lel) he doesn't really do anything in the games he is just like a person that is just there no point at all...

 

Your "rival" Brendan/May, they have a serious case of tl;dr. They tend to go on about things for a long time. I really would prefer the cute and then tough Wally as a solo rival, rather than them all the time.

 

L-Looker?! No!!! This thread is hurting my emotions, haha. Just kidding, I'd remove Matt or Shelly. Either one is fine. I really love Archie but those two deserved better development and personalities.

 

Yeah, I'm one of those people who think that Looker shouldn't be in ORAS. He is one of my favourite characters in Pokémon, but to see him return like this is just depressing. He should've had a better role too, rather than be shoehorned into this saddening scene. It's also a shame, as I think this seems to be his last appearance in the games.

 

I love Looker so any cameo, no matter how small, is welcome. <3

That aside, probably Zinnia.. I'm aware that's a very unpopular opinion ahaha. She bothered me for reasons I can't really pinpoint, though I assume it had something to do with her quirkiness and the way she treaded Steven (who is my favorite from the Hoenn region). Feh, always hard for me to adjust to liking quirky characters in a series.

Tabitha is also eh. Not as cool-looking as he used to be, though his new design is definitely charming in its own way.

 

I'd agree with these two without any qualms. Looker coming back was really hyped, then I got a letdown when he had no memory left. It's waving my hopes and dreams in front of me...
As for ZInnia, anyone that doesn't love Steven isn't okay with me. Steven is amazing, so you just can't not like the guy.

 

At the risk of starting fires id wanna remove Zianna... i just didnt like her at all in the delta episode her entire deminer stealing my freinds Key stones destroyed the plan mr stone was trying to make. honestly if she hadnt behaved the way she did i would have been fine. but she just wasnt likeable in my book.

 

I'm fine with Looker being in the games.

I don't really have any problems with most of the characters, but I'd remove characters that really serve no purpose, like Mr. Bonding.

 

Eh, Looker and Lisia seemed pretty random, and I don't think they really did much for the game.

Probably Looker is my final answer. .w. Even in the anime he was kind of annoying.
