I'm Cobalt - AMA

I listen to a lot. I listen to typical pop (Taylor Swift hmu) and pop/alt. rock (Fall Out Boy ily) and then indie rock (Death Cab for Cutie yooooo) and then EDM (Madeoooooon) and then also just regular alternative stuff (Florence + the Machine) and even a bit of urban (Beyoncé) and stuff that can't even really be put into one genre (Panic! at the Disco.)

I listen to a lot of music tbh

 

I think I thought about animals a lot. I'd say mine was, I had much more vivid imaginations than my friends did. But I'm not really sure. I imagined being able to talk to animals, just hanging out with them in general. It was nice and innocent, I think.

It's been good! My morning's been rather peaceful and I might go out later.

Aside from roleplaying, no, I haven't! I've written for other people's characters before (with permission!!) but never worked with someone.

 

Writing. Writing. Always writing. The fact that I'm a writer for this site and that I have, like, four incomplete backstories for my characters, while the last time I read a book for fun was, like, two months ago, should show you that I prefer writing. So much.

Note: Before anyone reads this. This small section is not meant to offend anyone of any religious alignment. It is simply how I feel, and factual, if you really look at things. I am not attacking anyone. This is a touchy subject and I understand that. With that being said, let's begin.

Islamophobia is literally one of the most sickening things about the country I live in. The US has honestly been so paranoid and angry with Muslims for no good reason since the 9/11 attacks, and I really think it needs to be put to a quick end. Were the 9/11 attacks absolutely horrible? Of course. 3,000 people died. That's a tragedy.

However, when my friends have to go to school every with classmates who think she could be a terrorist, and claim we're anti-American for knowing actual facts about the wars our government is fighting in, someone should fucking realize we have a problem.

Islamophobia is one of the most irrational beliefs that plagues this country, and I refuse to believe otherwise. I personally think if you're going to be afraid of any religion in America, it should be Christianity. Am I attacking Christianity? No, my parents and sister are Christian. Despite my current agnostic alignment, I was raised Christian. Some of my best friends are Christian. But when you look at some of the things that have happened in this country, it's far more likely radical Christians (and yes, they do exist. Branch Davidian, anyone? 1995 Oklahoma bombing? The Westboro Baptist Church? The fucking Ku Klux Klan?) are a bigger danger to you than Muslims.

And again, I want to make this perfectly clear. I am not attacking Christianity. It's a good religion, and if I'm going to end up believing in one, that's what it'll be. But we should also remember that, in this country, there have been more successful attacks, and there are certainly more hate groups run by Christians.

I don't really think I would, to be honest. But if I had to, I'd own a movie theatre franchise. Not sure why, but that sounds nice.

 

Ice skating, it looks prettier and you can do cooler things on ice!

 

I'm in LOVE with Black Sun right now. I've had it on repeat for hours at a time.

I have heard of the Decemberists, they're not bad! I have a few songs of theirs in my library. Haven't heard their new album though
