    well first of all, try find some cheap cards or find your old ones. you might be able to find old cards on a flea market, I managed to get my hands on some cheap cards that way.
    that's the best tips I got, while I did collect the cards I ever for to play with them in my life ahaha.

    All of my cards were fake but they were all pretty cheap :3 I was really bad at that game though, I remember "never winning" to any of my friends when i was in elementary. Now that I see your post, maybe I should go try getting back into it as well. Kinda nostalgic i guess

    There's an online version of the TCG on the Pokémon site. Maybe start there? Unless you don't have an account there, like it's been suggested already, I bet there are tutorials around the web, including YouTube. I was never into the game myself but I liked collecting the cards. I only have the ones from the first generation though.
