Welcome to Lake Valor! We're all a very easygoing community and we basically talk in the forums about mainly Pokémon. However we do have other interests in The Lounge forum on different topics. Recently, we've adopted a catcher mechanic which allows you to capture Pokémon in poke balls to be your partner. You can buy those poke balls by spending poke points, which can be earned by posting in various threads. All Pokémon through the Hoenn region are now available to capture and many will only appear in certain sections! Be on the lookout for eggs as well, since they contain a nice surprise! Feel free to ask me or anyone else on here if you've got questions. Even if you want to chat...I'm a fairly approachable person. See you around
Hey there, welcome to the lake! As for what you can do... I'd recommend just searching around for a thread to post in. The Game Corner is a good place to start!
Um, hello! Welcome to the Lake! I saw from your post about USUM that you're Australian as well, so yay! More Australian LVers! So, for what you can do...there's an event going on, the postfest (though it's almost over) where you have to post as much as possible, and you get prizes for that. There's also the Catcher, where you can buy Pokeballs (for PP) and you can catch and raise Pokémon by posting to level them up. You can also hatch eggs.
Welcome to the lake, Jordi. If you're looking for something to do here, I recomend looking for post that suits your taste.
Welcome, welcome! Have a good time here. About the tip, I suggest you buy a good number of pokeballs and great balls from the shop. There are some Pokémon here which aren't seen daily or often. So don't miss the chance to catch them the moment you see them. Great balls are good for catching Pokémon and they are more powerful than normal pokeballs too. And yes, if you wanna catch an eevee, I suggest you buy some ultra balls too. Eevees are hard to catch, yes. Have a good day, dear. ^-^
Shoot, I'm late and several nice tips were already given out. Cherry mentioned the Catcher feature (the thing that shows up on the bottom left of a page sometimes), and several others mentioned topics and events. As far as where, you aren't really restricted, but I would recommend starting in a place you're comfortable with. It's easier to reply to an existing topic than to start a new one, especially if you're unsure. I would 'test the waters' so to speak, so you can find a place that you're content with. Beyond that, each section is its own little thing. The Lounge is for everything that doesn't fit into any of the other sections, so it's a catch-all - but if it would go somewhere else, it goes to the else. I can't think of anything else general that hasn't already been said, but should you have any specific questions, Jordi, that may help. I tend to give better feedback if I'm asked something more specific. If you need anything, let me know.
