Did you ever have an imaginary friend(s) as a kid? How many did you have? Do you still have them? On the flipside, why do you think you didn't have one? Do you think it's alright for kids to have one? How far is too far when it comes to imaginary friends?

Personally I never had any. It's not that I thought that they were dumb, but simply because I could never really get them to form well into my mind. That being said, I what's pretended I could so that I seemed normal

I don't remember ever having an imaginary friend. I mean there's Andrealphus, Great Marquis of The World On The Other Side Of The Sky, who has always been around me since birth, telling me a lot of things he thinks would be fun, like delivering unto his altar the severed heads of his non-believers and of my foes, though nobody ever directly directly talks to him (I think it's because they're intimidated). He might seem like an imaginary friend, but no, he's as real as Betty Crocker and Paul Bunyan.

On that note, no, I never had any imaginary friends, however, I am entirely convinced that the human mind, in all its power and influence, has the ability to create very convincing illusions. For all I know, some people I meet regularly are figments of my imagination. I mean maybe tomorrow I'm going to have a sudden revelation where I'll be out having lunch with a friend and someone will tap me on the shoulder asking me why I'm talking to myself, I'll look across the table and nobody will be there. Imagination or hallucination, I don't know, but I might just have some very convincing imaginary friends right now even.

I did and I am proud. Honestly, it was kind of weird because I was a bit boy-crazy when I was little so most of my imaginary friends were good-looking boys. Of course these imaginary friends would always save me from the evil real life people who would bully me.

I would love to be able to say that I had imaginary friends as a child, but my imagination probably wasn't anything too special. I had plenty of people around me at all times while growing up, so there was no purpose to having an imaginary friend in the first place. However, now that I'm an adult, I have many imaginary friends, you just can't know about them.

I don't even know how many I had. I do know that at least two were named Sam for some reason. One would "convince" me to do stuff that ended up getting me in trouble. The other was battle robot thing that i could "turn in to". I had way too much of an imagination as a child. I think they are perfectly fine to have, as long as they are gone by the time it'll hurt your social life. That is the point to stop at for one's own well being.

There are two types people in this world; those who have imaginary friends and those who don't.

Of course then there was me, who have imaginary worlds.
Growing up, I created a world that I would make up stories about the beings of that world. My sister and I would sit in her room and we would just talk and create.

Good topic, good topic, I did have imaginary friends! I had one in particular that stuck around the longest. His name was Ton-Ton Man. (pronounced like tahn-tahn). He was a short, round, slimy green alien. He had elephant like ears and atop his bald green head was a pointy green antennae. He liked to cause mischief and sit on top of my sister's head. He was from planet Ton-Ton. I dunno how I came up with him.

I don't see a problem in making imaginary friends as a child! Unless they start doing demonic shit :s

I did have a very good imaginary friend, very creatively named "Spookje" (Ghosty) and just as creatively, he looked like a blanket ghost with nubby arms. I used to have hourlong conversations with him in my room, but I don't think I ever really told anyone about him because I was scared they would take him from me. Ahh, that really brings back memories.

I didn't really have any imaginary friends I kept around me and talked to them, but I did create several other things such as a dalmatian (named "Vlekje" - Spotty) and my own superhero - the one who's name I'm using on the Internet nowadays: Megarai. To me, Vlekje was the first thing I ever created using my imagination, which was after I had read a book about a girl having an imaginary dog back when I was six. Megarai came quickly after that. As I said before: I never talked to them or stuff, but I was always busy imagining cool scenarios for my superhero and me taking care of Vlekje. I guess I was a writer back then as well. I just didn't realise it.

Me? Imaginary friends? Yes! Ofcourse! I had so many imaginary friends, especially a Corythosaurus (dinosaur) called Cory. Every time I went to the school carpark in Primary, I always imagined him walking along side me. I also have my own imaginary worlds, places where I go to have fun!

Nowadays, my imaginary friends (well, they're not imaginary, they're real) are characters that I make friends with, like Dark Pit, Pit, Link, Silver, Gold e.t.c. In fact, I always 'talk' to them, and they 'talk' to me. I'm not crazy, though. That's why, however, I get offended when people make fun of them, since they were always there for me when the times were rough.

Never had them because I used to be popular when I was a kid. Tbh I've never met a person irl who had an imaginary friend. Of course I talked to my plushies and whatnot but it wasn't like I gave personality to air just because I was lonely. Idk but airfriends were never for me I guess.
