"Hugo, Jake, let's move!"
Hugo and Jake began to speed to the ball as fast as they could. Hugo got their first, planned by the three of them, Jake ran slightly slower.
"Wind God's Dance!"
He used the move around the ball, launching it into the air, Jake arrived and flipped, then jumped up to the ball.
"Falcon Flight!"
Jake performed Falcon Flight, twisting and turning, finally smashing the ball closer towards the goal. Zach came running behind the ball, the way Arion Sherwind runs at the start of Zephyr Shot.
"Deadly Hound Slash! Armourfy!"
Zach unleashed his Spirit and then let it form around him. He jumped over the ball and used his hind leg to tipi it up and over him, he continued running, as he ran he did many tricks with the ball, every trick infested the ball with more dark power, eventually he kicked it behind him, flipped backwards and shot it with all his wrath.
"Dark Stallion!"
As he kicked the ball it went crashing down, black aura surrounding, it looked like a meteor charging down and a horse appeared behind, putting more power on it. The Francois siblings tried to stop it.
"Crescent Tackle W!"
"Watch as our wall defeats your puny shot!"
Performing Crescent Tackle again, after doing the first bit, Alexandra jumped and flipped and then stood on Emmanuel's hands, the moon stood up like a wall. Alexandra put her hands down, the moon fell down, the pointy bit aiming at the ball.
"Not on my watch!"
Jake came running in, it looked like Zach had quickly given him the Dark Orb because he looked similar to when Zach was Mixi Maxed.
"DARKENED HOLE!"
Using the move Zach had used a few minutes ago, Jake was able to move the defenders away from the ball.
"Zach, take over!"
Jake took the Dark Orb away and through the item at him. Zach Mixi Maxed and sped to the goal.
"Let's go again!"
Performing tricks and infesting the ball with power, Zach shot it up. He called Jake and they both jumped to the ball and shot.
"Dark Stallion DD!"
They shot, two black stallions appeared pushing the ball together, two times the power of the first one.
"Carmen, will win. I will save this! There's a Fine Line!"
Somehow, Carmen took the white line that told people how far a shot would need to go for a goal, he took the line and held it in front of him the ball bashed into his chest he fell back and the line fell out of his hands, back onto the grass, the ball rolled through.
"Half-time, 2-1 to Zakumi Leopards!"
The team ran to the coach, shouting and cheering.
"Don't get too happy, there's still another half but as far as I know, they only have one trick left, Crescent Slide."
Chris complained as a joke.
"What's with all the crescents in this team, god!"
Everyone laughed.
"You're right but this is the last public trick they have, as Fighting Spirits don't count. The team gets together, making a crescent shape out of their nine players on the field, that's right, the goalie comes out, Emmanuel and Alexandra stand slightly in front of them. The crescent works as a rotation, going right. The first person slides, goes for a tackle, then the second person, this goes on until someone gets the ball, whoever gets the ball, passes to Emmanuel or Alexandra. To get past this, we'll need a tactic, very very fast, it's the only way to whizz past them, especially now there goalie will come out."
Zach explained his tactic.
"Galeforce. Hugo knows Flurry Dash, Jake knows Gale Dash, Chris knows Triple Dash and Craig knows Dash Storm, put all of these together, remembering that Triple Dash obviously needs two more people, if everyone else runs behind or beside these few people, we can create a huge wind that will knock down the wall. How about it? Okay, who want's to do Triple Dash with Chris?"
Albert and Wolf rose their hands.
"Okay, then it's settled."
They got into the technicals and then the match started up again. Zach took the ball and made a back-pass.
"Tactic- Crescent Slide!"
"Now, Hugo!"
"Flurry Dash!"
He appeared and reappeared, knocking down a few players then passing back to Jake.
"Jake, go!"
"Gale Dash!"
Knocking down more players, they were like pins and he was the bowling ball. He passed back to Chris.
"Chris, Albert and Wolf!"
"Let's!"
"Do!"
"THIS!"
"TRIPLE DASH!"
They ran and made a gap in the crescent, only 3 players left in the crescent.
"Craig and everyone else, let's go!"
"Dash Storm!"
Running behind Craig, the storm quickly wiped away the players. Emmanuel got up as fast as he could.
"Warp Step!"
Using Warp Step to catch up to Craig, he positioned himself in front.
"Owl of the Night, Baltimore!"
A large owl arose from behind Emmanuel, it's wings were illuminated like the moon and the rest of it's body was black as night.
"Wings of the Night!"
Emmanuel jumped in the air, then he spun, crashing down towards the ball. Zach took the ball from Craig and pulled him forward. They ran to the goal.
"Ready, Craig?"
"Always, Zach."
Zach, kicked the ball onto his head and kept it there, whilst Craig unleashed his Fighting Spirit for the first time and armourfied it.
"Archer of the Sun, Sagittarius. A horseman appeared behind Craig, then he armourfied. Craig wore a golden armour on the top and brown armour on the bottom, there was a bow set on his back. He took out the bow and set his foot where the arrow would be.
"Bullseye!"
He let go and he rocketed off, his foot in front like a missile. He kicked the ball off Zach's head. Now going at a tremendous pace, Zach and Craig ran for the ball, Zach went in front of the ball, he flipped back and shot, Craig had already gone in front.
"Void!"
Craig turned around so he could face the ball, he then used an overhead volley.
"B-Arghh!"
Craig missed the shot, he fell and hit his neck straight in the middle. Zach ran for the ball, he stopped, skilled the goalie and shot.
"Ohh, Craig Eden took a horrible blow to the head and neck but Zach managed to keep the goal. There's the whistle, 3-1 to Zakumi!!!!"
Zach ran over to Craig.
"Are you okay?"
"Zach, I wa-I was, I wasn't ready."
"It's okay, the hospital will fix you up, nice and good and you'll be back for the main event. I'll visit you whenever I can."
"Yeah, I'd like that, congrats by the way."
"Hey, it was both of us!"
"Yeah, see you."
He hoisted on to the stretcher, he'd broken his neck.

-Back at the dormitories-

"So, the first injury was their midfielder. Looks like it's my time to shine. Doni Frelser's coming in!"

 

(Futabol is Hindi for football)
Shere Khan pounced onto the ground, he surveyed his surroundings, already seeing Baloo and the others.
"Why, thank you, Bear! You brought me some food."
"Woah, woah, woah, woah! These are people with special powers, they also play futabol!"
"You think futabol will stop me? Never, arghh!"
"Hot Summer Smash!"
A ball covered in red sand hit Shere Khan's head and he was knocked backwards.
"Huh? Where did that come from?"
Doni was oblivious, so were the others but Zach and Hank understood.
"Mowgli!"
Zach and Baloo shouted.
"Mowgli?"
Said the rest. Mowgli jumped out of the bushes. Shere Khan got ready to take him away. He pounced. Zach quickly took the football Doni was holding and kicked it at Shere Khan.
"Arghh!"
Then he came for Jake. Jake tossed the ball in the air.
"Falcon's Flight!"
Mowgli somehow hung on to Jake's aura, as he kicked it, Mowgli swung off it like a vine, over Jake's head and in the view of the ball.
"Amazonian Strike and Falcon's Flight, put together to make... Wings of the Jungle!"
He moved the ball between his legs(while in mid-air) and then shot at Shere Khan. It went into his mouth but it was so strong that Shere Khan was sent backwards. Jake realised what had happened, Mowgli had combined their moves and made a powerful. Zach went over to Clark and Hank.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Jake and Mowgli, yes and Doni and Baloo."
"Doni?!"
"You may not like his careless but he'd be good with Baloo. He can play in defence. I've scanned Baloo, his special move his Slow Steal. I also scanned Shere Khan, his special move is Deforestation. These people will all go with our people well. How we get Shere Khan's aura is what we need to think about."
It seemed that Tigra knew how to. Tigra ran after Shere Khan.
"Hey, Khan! Khan!"
"Hm? What?"
"I want to work with you, I only came with them to find you. I want to be your apprentice and hunt!"
"Really, prove it!"
Tigra found an arrow and threw it at Clark, Clark using his android abilities to make an illusion of him falling to the ground.
"Fair enough, come, young cub."
Tigra winked to the team and slipped away.
"Mowgli, you're amazing!"
"You... are too!"
Jake and Mowgli kept talking, as did Baloo and Doni. Zach spoke up.
"Baloo, Mowgli, we need your help. Baloo, we need your aura, let's call it your character, we need you to give us a spare part of you in a way."
"Like a bone joint?"
"No, Baloo. He needs our spiritual power. Right?"
"Dunno how you knew that but yes, that's what I need. Doni, Jake come here."
Jake smiled at Mowgli. Mowgli put his hand on his heart, it began to glow yellow and a ball of gold aura appeared, he gave it to Jake. Jake absorbed the power.
"Mixi Max, activate!"
Jake burst out of the golden aura, his brown, spiky hair had now become black and looked like flaps, there was one big flap, covering his right eye. His skin was darker and his eye colour changed from blue to hazel.
"This is cool. Mixi Max is awesome, time for the move then. Wings of the Jungle!"
He jumped up, the golden aura formed together to make a clone of Mowgli, who hung onto Jake's aura. Jake kicked it and flipped, the aura-formed Mowgli jumped off and smashed the ball down.
"Next up, Doni and Baloo."
"Here goes nothing, ready Don?"
"Ready, Bal!"
Baloo put his hand on his heart, the golden aura appeared and wrapped around Doni. Doni burst out, his small, green hair had become dark grey, it was shaggy on the top and there were long tufts of hair going down to his chin on the sides.
"Cool! Let's go, Slow Steal!"
A ball was put in front of Nathan. Doni ran really quickly but stopped, everything stopped, Doni took Nathan by the hand and pulled him away from the ball, it was so slow no one knew what was happening, the sight was blurry so only parts of the move were seen, either way, he took the ball with ease.
"Woah!"

(Shere Khan's place)
"Shere Khan, I have an idea. If you gave me your aura, I could become stronger and then when I've defeated them, give the boy to you."
"Interesting, how will I do this?"
"Just roar as loud as possible!"
Tigra did this so everyone knew where he was.
"Good, now put your paw on your heart."
Shere Khan did it and the golden aura came and wrapped around Tigra. He appeared, he had orange with black spikes poking out, his skin was almost black and his eyes had turned black and his pupils were white. After some long training, Tigra and Shere Khan were found.
"Tigra, get them!"
"Yes, Deforestation!"
Using the makeshift ball Shere Khan had, Tigra kicked the ball at a rock behind him, the ball bounced off the rock and bounced up and over Tigra's head, Tigra ran and smashed the ball, the ball destroyed, or blew away, every obstacle in it's way, hence the name.

"I'm not so sure. I mean, unusual? What does it mean?"
Nathan was worried, he usually kept a cool head about these things, just trying his best but this was something to worry about.
"It means, we must train differently," Hank rounded up everyone, "I want the defenders to train with Zach, you're going to learn how to cross and shoot! Same goes for all the offenders, you'll play with Jack and learn to block passes. Emily and Chris take the midfielders and enhance their reflexes, the example being saving the ball with your feet. Okay, go, go ,go!"
All the players advanced well but one in particular, Rodrigo in Zach's training group, was holding back! Zach crossed to him, a cross that no one, except maybe, Rodrigo, could've chained.
"DARKENED ARROW!"
Zach suddenly ran back, with the ball, at the speed of sound, the whistle hurt people's ears, then h sprinted forward, flipped and then chipped the ball up and over his head. Zach back-flipped and somehow managed to manoeuvre himself and stomp on the ball, a large, dark arrow came out of the front of the ball, Zach flipped off the ball, ran to it and smashed it to Rodrigo. It was so fast. The description is too slow but it was very, very fast, a blur in fact. Rodrigo found the right time, somehow.
"Blazing Queen of Lava! Rise, Fiammetta! Go, Fireball Forza!"
A fireball wrapped around Rodrigo's leg, he pulled it back and the large amount of fire grew and grew, when the ball was about to come in front, Rodrigo back-flipped and then came crashing down like a meteor. Suddenly, the ball was enveloped in fire and it went down and forward with complete finesse. No one could stop this, but...
"Rod Rage!"
A figure, his face was unable to see in the dark afternoon, appeared, he put out his leg, like a giant fishing rod, the ball suddenly lodge between his toes(tip of his shoe) and his leg, then he seemed to fling his leg around, spinning it madly and then letting it go, the mad spinning had given it an outrageous amount of speed, sneding it all the way to the other side of the pitch, Chris still stopped it.
"Whoever you are, you're not the only one who can save! Quad Hand K!"
Chris let out the four hand again, he covered the ball, flipped forward and stomped on the ball along, with his special Sumo Stomp. It stopped the ball completely.
"Not bad, Emily, you've got two competitions now."
"Huh, who are you?"
"Oh yeah, sorry the hood covered my face. It's me!"
He took of his hood, it was Horus. Anubis raced to him.
"How come you're back?"
"Dad said that he didn't need my help any longer with the board stuff and said that I could come here if I wanted, well, obviously I wanted to come. So, Hank, need a third goalie."
"No, but we do need a defender, although Chris has immense power as a goalie, he plays better in midfield so he has to be our second goalie., I know you have a mode for defence too, that block combination you did with Zach in the trials, of Fisherman;s Fury and Dark Tornado, Tornado Fury was it? This can be used for defence if you can lift Zach in the air but kick the ball too. Horus, welcome to the team."
"Thanks, I was hoping for goalie but... knowing that I can rejoin the team is great, Zach you and me, we work well to make this combinations. Riverbank, tonight?"
"You've got it!"
"Back to training.

(That night...)
"This is my newest shooting move, it seems that Rodrigo is the only one who can sense where it slows down. I know that using your Rod Rage, we can make this a complete blur of a block. Ready, Horus? Watch this! Darkened Arrow!"
Horus watched.
"You've gotten a lot stronger, so have I. How about when I lodge the ball between my toes and leg, how about we reverse your move, what I'm saying is, use your move and shoot where the ball goes, you know between the toes and my leg."
"What if it's an own goal? This is really risky."
"If it works, though... A very powerful shot will be in my hands, well feet and I can add my hardest kick to make it go to the other side of the pitch."
"That would work, let's practice, get in goal! DARK ARROW!"
"ROD RAGE!"
The ball went to the toes but too low and it went under Horus' foot.
"You never get it right, first time, don't worry, we'll get there Horus. Besides, we have until the day after tomorrow to train."
"Yeah, go again!"

(The day of the match, everyone has trained very hard...)
"Let's go, fight!"
The team got on the bus and drove to the match that would secure them the qualifiers, it was the last match, if they won this, they were guaranteed first in the whole thing, giving them an even better chance in their main tournament group. The team got off the bus and changed, they walked onto the pitch. Shiva's Warriors weren't here yet. They were not here until five minutes before the match.
"Now we have no idea what their change is, that's why they came late!"
"phutabol khelate hain aur chalo jeet!(let's play football and let's win!)"
They chanted loud and clear. Zach and Horus grinned at each other, the match begun.

"Narak, pass to Sarga, then me."
"Hai! Sarga, take!"
"Lakshay, take!"
"Thank you. Let's go, Narak, Geet, Sarga, let us attack. Pinpoint Blast!"
Geet took the ball, so fast, he left a mark in the pitch, he passed across to Narak, who went the opposite of Geet, Narak chipped it in the air, by now there was a cross marked in the ground. Lakshay and Sarga jumped at smashed the ball into the centre of the cross, it bounced forward with tremendous height, Craig was ready, or he thought he was, at the least.
"That'll do nothing!"
He jumped but suddenly, the ball went low and bounced under his feet and went past him. Lakshay controlled the ball, how it bounced, where it bounced, he kept it bouncing. HOrus got ready.
"Not yet Horus!"
Zach said, Horus stepped back into line with Nickel and Rodrigo.
"Rodrigo, Horus, let's do this!"
"What?!"
Horus was confused.
"Just follow us."
Rodrigo stood in front of Nickel and Horus stood behind him, Rodrigo jumped and headed the ball backwards, then Nickel did the same.
"Horus, kick it!"
Horus ran back and then came forward, he kicked the ball away when the ball was low, he had tricked Lakshay into think he was jumping.
"That's one of our tactics."
"Huh, it's effective!" The ball went to Wolf. Tigra was there too.
"Jungle Jolt!"
Wolf passed to Tigra, Tigra performed a special trick, then passed back to Wolf, Wolf did a trick too, this went on for a few seconds, suddenly the friction caused by the tricks sparked a jolt in the ball, Wolf and Tigra noticed it, thehy came together and charged past everyone with the power of the electricity. They got to the goal, Zach marked by a defender. Tigra whispered to Wolf.
"Go for Zach."
"Okay then."
Wolf kicked it with no warning, Zach jumped, free of the defenders and bicycle kicked it. A specially bicycle kick.
"Bicycle Sword!"
Dark aura burst out and hte ball zoomed into the goal.

"Good work guys. We're doing well and Horus, that avatar is very good."
Even though Hank was complimenting the team, he seemed concerned, he looked at Tigra.
"Tigra, you're off."
Not listening at first, Tigra ignored Hank.
"I SAID, TIGRA YOU'RE OFF!"
"I HEARD YOU, YOU LITTLE SH-"
"Tigra stop!"
The team tried to intervene and stop the fight. Zach, Anubis and Jake didn't though, they stood and watch.
"Hey, Anubis, Jake, ready for that move?"
"You mean th-"
"Yep."
"I thought you'd never ask!"
The Second half begun and Nathan had been subbed on for Tigra. Nathan took the ball his speed was almost matching to the legendary Nathan Swift! Nathan chipped the ball forward.
"Mitul, Ranbir, mark him!"
The two jumped in front of Jake but suddenly found themselves on the floor. Jake suddenly appeared ahead of them. He shouted back to them.
"How'd you like that little trick? Haha!"
Jake found himself with a clear goal, he shot it at the post. The crowd gasped, then the ball crossed completely and went to Anubis, a clear shot, he hit the post again, this time, a little cross and it was in between Anubis and Jake just then, Zach appeared in the centre, he performed Whirlwind Cut except the air with him was green and he shot the ball, he crowd still hadn't realised, neither had the rest of the team, Zach used all his power and lightly hit the crossbar. The crowd shouted in protest!
"Match-fixer!"
"Chea- Wait, what's this! The ball's coming back!"
The ball did come back and Jake, Anubis and Zach were their, they put their heads together and charged, all performing Whirlwind Cut at the same time, now there was aura everywhere, green, black, purple and blue, all sorts of colours.
"AURA CHARGE!"
They rammed the ball and it charged toward the goal. The goalkeeper waited to concede another goal.
"In comes another o-"
"No, it won't!"
The defenders jumped in front of Indranil(the goalie).
"Indranil, we'll get behind you and stop them!"
"Okay then!"
The four of them got behind Indranil.
"Durga Fist!"
Ten arms appeared, they all clenched their fists, when they put the hands together, all ten fists created one big fist. On top of that, every defender use Divine Stomp to stop the ball too! Lakshay helped too!
"Ghost Mixi Max!"
Using power from everyone on their team, India invested all the power on that one shot.
"See, Tigra? This is a team!"
Zach smiled.
Hank saw it.
"Doni, you're on for Chris!"
"Kay!"
"Jaake, Hugo, Doni, Mixi Max now!"
"Mixed!"
"To!"
"THE MAX!"
The three of them held hands and created a circle. Zach jumped into the middle and armoured, he used all his FSP on their power, mixing the FSP and Mixi Max Power would make something special.
"Tactic! CIRCLE OF LIFE!"
The three Mixi Maxed players ran around Zach, he chanted and performed tricks until his purple aura had turned orange. Zach ran to the ball. Now his team were positioned in a line.
"Tactic! Champion Kick!"
Emily kicked a gust of air at Rodrigo, pushing him forward so he could do the same to Horus, it went on until(it went fairly fast)Jake did it to Zach, Zach was boosted forward and Zach smashed his foot into the ball. Everyone shouted, everyone's power was draining, after this, there'd be no more Avatars or Mixi Max, both teams would be too tired and powerless. The conflict went on between Zakumi's "Champion Kick" and India's Divine Durga Save. It seemed India would win.
"NO!"
Tigra shouted from the stands, he realized he'd been too cocky and should've played as a team. He knew he couldn't go on now, though.
"Let it in, Zach!"
Zach glanced at Tigra and he stopped. India didn't realise them stopping and as they lost their powers, the ball dropped onto the floor.
"Horus, run for it!"
Horus, the only one with enough energy, sprinted for the ball. He jumped, leaped and got to the ball.
"Keep trying, Indranil! ARGHHH!"
"Aqua Tornado!"
Instead of fire, blue aura or dark aura surrounding him, pure water wrapped around his foot and when he kicked it, millions and trillions of fish came out a swam with the ball. The crowd watched as the ball was about to swim into the goal and then...
"Argh!"
Lakshay jumped in front of the ball. Two of his fingers were glowing, as he moved them he created a glowing symbol in the air, it was the HInduism sign, it turned blue, then gold and then red. Doing everything that it could to stop the ball. The ball broke throught it but was still saved as he jumped and kicked it away.
The crowd was astonished, one by one, they started clapping, the commitment from both teams was amazing, that was what a perfect game would be and should be.
"LAKSHAY! There's still twenty minutes left, let's play!"
"Of course, Zach. Nothing in the world could stop India now, Shiva's Warriors, share our power, we will need it to defeat these Leopards!"
"Zakumi! Let's do the same and defeat India!"
The teams cheered and the crowd roared as the match restarted.
"Narak, Geet, Sarga, again!"
"PINPOINT BLAST!"
"Horus, now! Darkened Arrow, a few metres away from Horus, the black arrow appeared and went straight between Horus' toes and leg, the arrow changed direction, Horus performed Rod Rage. The arrow was powered and as the ball came, Horus launched the arrow, the arrow pierced the ball(in an illusional sort of way that affected the real world. )and the ball went to the other half. Zach went for it.
"Jake, Anubis!"
"Bicycle!"
Anubis jumped.
"Sword!"
Jake jumped.
"Triple Slash!"
Zach jumped and they all performed it at the same time, making three powerful shots into one.
"If that defender can do it, I can do it too. Dusty Trail!"
The goalie was pumped up, dust surround the ball, it followed the path blindly only to find the goalie waiting to catch it.
"5 minutes left, let's make it count!"
"2-1!"
"2-2!"
"Come, on Zakumi!"
"Come, on India!"
It was tense, the match was at it's peak when it was just Lakshay and Zach, one on one. Lakshay had the ball.
"It's been a good game, Zach but we will go on to represent our end of the region."
"We will represent ours and we will win!"
"Serpent Slide!"
Lakshay's leg suddenly became flexible and slippery, like a snake. The ball was slowly sliding past Zach but he didn't give up.
"Globe Turn!"
Horus cheered.
"Earth Turn's evolved!"
Zach curled his hands into a ball, like he was holding a joystick, he shook the whole arena, Lakshay's foot had turned back to normal so he lost his footing. Zach took the ball.
"Jake, Anubis, ahead. Hugo, Nathan, behind!"
Zach passed back to Nathan and Hugo then he disappeared.
"Twin Boost!"
Nathan chipped it to Hugo who shot it down, then Nathan kicked it forward. It was Anubis and Jake's turn now!
"Inazuma-1!"
They swapped sides, sun and shot the ball which was now a golden-brown colour. It headed for the goal, then Zach appeared.
"I've learnt many moves but none of them will be stronger than this. Dusk Drive!"
Zach came crashing down onto the ball, pressing it down to the max, he rolled the ball back and then flicked it over his head, he jumped over and under the ball, he performed tricks and stunts, all of this faster than the eye could see, one moment he stopped, the ball in front of him, spirits, aura, demons were seen. The crowd focused on that one moment, where he chipped it up and smashed the ball. The ball was now pitch black and heading towards the goal, as it entered the net, it burst into an explosion of colours, dark colours. The sheer power was amazing, the crowd whooped and cheered, the whistle blew. The commentator screamed!
"ZAKUMI ARE GOING TO FFIB!"
(Later on...)

"Everyone, ready, get on the bus and let's go!"
