For those of you who do not know of this game, here comes a nice history lesson. Nitronic Rush started as a group school project done by college students at the Digipen Institute. The game was created with an original engine, and was later released to the public for free to play, and got a good amount of credibility and downloads. The game is pretty straight forward. You are a Tron-esque Car, with the ability to boost, jump and fly, while being able to drive along walls in great fast paced speed. The game devs later after graduating made their own indie company and are still currently working on the succesor of Nitronic Rush, called Distance. Distance is almost the same but giving Nitronic Rush a better physics engine and graphical update. The cars and visuals looking even more enticing and interesting making this a nice warm welcome to originality. Thought I do believe the devs at Nitronic rushed based their game off another game, but went off the car formula and perfected it. Nitronic Rush is still a free to play game, and people still mod it adding either more tracks and cars. If you want you can still support the devs by donating for Distance, as it looks better and better each day. For those who have played Nitronic Rush here are a few questions.

What is your favorite Car in Nitronic Rush? What do you like the most about Nitronic Rush/Distance? What are your thoughts on the Music? Do you think Nitronic Rush has any potential becoming big in the indie dev scene?
