What movies have made an impact on you after watching them? Has there been a certain influential movie that stuck with you months or even years later? For me, movies like The Bridge to Terabithia, The Lovely Bones, and An American Tail have always gave me goosebumps whenever I watch them for a second time. They were all very touching and emotion based movies that really impacted me on how I view life. The Bridge to Terabithia influenced how I view friendships, The Lovely bones influenced how I view life tragedies, and An American Tail influenced how I view family and the importance of freedom.

For me, I would go with Gone with the Wind.
It's really long, but in the end, I'm glad I watched it. It kind of taught me that no matter the cost, don't lose yourself to something something so materialistic. Don't fall in love with looks or money, fall in love with something that truly cares for you before it's too late. Gone with the WInd is truly timeless, and recommend watching how chaotic it is.

For me it would have to be Sucker Punch, or Inception. Both movies really give you a wider view on... Well, pretty much everything.

These are mostly Indian, but they can be found dubbed if you search( i think) and are worth watching.
    Barfi!:
A deaf man's father is dying. He needs money, and in his desperation, he kidnaps the autistic daughter of a wealthy man, and together the pair form a relationship too strong for words.
Sounds corny, I know, but trust me, this will change you. Barely any dialogue in the whole film, and thats coming from an actor known for his rogueish charm in movies.
    Three Idiots:
The lives of two college students, Raju and Farhan, are turned upside down when their roommate, Rancho, takes it upon himself to prove to their Principal that studying is not just for marks.
I know it sounds stupid. But when you go into the plot...Rancho's father is a billionare. Raju's parents are dirt-poor and he's frightened of letting them down. And Farhan wants to be a photographer but is too scared of his father to admit it. This movie will make you laugh, make you cry, and most of all, make you think.
    Taare Zameen Par:
A dyslexic child is sent to a boarding school.
Im not saying anymore, but this is one heck of an emotional film. Ive cried each time I watch this.
    And lastly:
    Hira Pheri:
Three people need money. And in a freak accident, they get the oppurtunity to make more than they ever imagined.
Just for laughs. This movie is comedy gold.
