Hi everyone! I happened to stumble upon this forum few weeks ago while I was searching for information about Lake Valor (the location within the games), and decided to check it. I first just wanted to lurk around the get the idea of the general atmosphere here, but then the site went offline, so I couldn't exactly signup when I wanted to. I wasn't sure if signing up immediately after the changes were implemented would have been a smart move, and decided to wait until you got the site to work properly enough. I guess that's enough of that, (hopefully that wasn't too much) but I guess I should tell some things about myself. You can call me either Inken'in or just Inken, but I don't really mind too much if you decide call me by a different name, assuming it isn't intended as an insult. I doubt that I need to tell that I like Pokémon, but I don't really haven't played the actual games, as I mostly play on Showdown occasionally. I also like anime & manga, but I personally prefer manga over anime. Not that would prevent me from watching anime adaptions of the manga I enjoy. Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari and Psyren are one of my favorite manga out there.
Hey, Inken! Welcome to Lake Valor the Forums! I hope that you have liked what you have seen so far. The games are fun though and I hope you can play one of them and like them a whole lot, but that is for another time. We have several members that go to showdown too, so I hope you can do some battles with them or just hang out when you want. It is true we went offline for a bit to update our software and we have now come back and are rearing to go.
Hi inken, welcome to LV, hope you enjoy it here, funny how information seking can lead you to a forum, anyway nice to meet you and hope you enjoy it here
I have liked everything I have seen so far, and I hope that I'll continue finding more and more enjoyable things here, be it the members or features~ Yeah, you can sometimes find unexpected things while searching for something different, be it good or bad... I hope this will be a good find, as it so far has been.
That is good to hear! Don't be afraid to join our discord server if you want to chat in a faster way with some of the members!
Why hello there! Welcome to the Lake! Don't be afraid of asking for any help around here, we're a nice bunch of people! I hope to see you around the site!
Hey there Welcome to Lake Valor, I hope you'll have a great time here talking Pokeymanz and other stuff xD See you around!
Hi! Glad to see you and hope you stick around; this is a really good forum. Good luck in Showdown! #MissingNo
Hey, welcome to the Lake! I'm certain that you'll have a blast with all of us: we love to chat and make new friends! Hope to talk to you around the site!
Welcome to Lake Valor Inken! Which Pokémon generation is your favorite? Are you a competitive battler or battle for fun? You should check out the Festival Plaza for some battles!
I'm kinda stuck between 4th Gen and 7th Gen, since 4th Gen battles where the ones that I enjoyed the most, since you had lot more "freedom" with teambuilding, due to lack of team preview, while 7th Gen has pretty much everything, giving you lot of different options to use. And for the 2nd question, I guess both apply, as I play mostly for fun, but I can get pretty competitive at times. And yeah, I will check it out~
Welcome to Lake Valor Inken! You're a Showdown player, you say? I'm looking forward to battling you sometime! I hope you get acquainted with the forum, and that you feel comfy here!
It's fine! The people here who play Showdown are great to talk to, and I get tips about my teams to help make them better! And if you go here, you can post the Showdown battles you do!
Heck yeah! Second result on Google is paying off! You caught us during our renovation, but thankfully that wasn't enough to keep you away - even though it has been going on for some time (and there are still touch-ups being made), but at least we're functional again. And for whatever reason, your username sounds like a subtitle to a movie sequel. Like "Splatoon 2: The Inkening." ...wait, that's not a movie...is it? So many people have beaten me to the punch on this topic so I'm not sure what to add. I am a fairly good signpost and answerer of questions at least, and am equipped to handle most any inquiry that you may have. You'd be surprised, actually; we've had a few people stop by here that don't play the series at all, so LV has been known to attract all kinds of people.
