    I could write a cameo for Maya doing exactly that or at least Nowi mentioning... sometime later if there's a chance.

    I've also been offline for a while, and that's because I've been working on the Xander/Ryoma modification on the next chapter. It's over 500 words for that part alone! I may upload that chapter within the next twelve hours.

    For the record, Phoenix Quest X also exists in the fic.

    Speaking of that update, the "Behind them, Minerva walked off the bus with Minerva perched on her shoulder..." part bugs me big time. Was the first Minerva supposed to be Cherche?

    And speaking of uniforms, I've been messing with the colors and these are what I got for the girls' uniforms:

    Due to the dollmaker's limitations, this is the closest thing I could get to a male uniform:

    Just switch the skirt with trousers and the bow with a ribbon and bam, boys' uniform.

    Also, with all due respect, the socks and shoes are subject to personal tastes. I'm using Nora's style in all versions of Ylisstol High uniforms.

    The question is, will @WavePearl (as Maya's player) allow it?

    Whooooaaaaa! You went out of your way to make these?! I’m touched. Also, haha nice touch with the white hair and Robyn twintails. Also, nice of you to catch the error. Now it's fixed (I tend to make a error or so after writing a lot of words, so my brain can't keep up)

    But you know, now looking at the yellow for the lower division (at least, for the bottom and blazer)… it seems way too flashy :sweat:

    I’m thinking a mainly black (or gray) with yellow trim might be more visually appealing. What do you think?

    As for the upper division, maybe a deeper shade of blue (like navy blue) would work - albeit it does take from Chrom's outfit in the game. But to be fair, I guess your software has limits on colour choice. Besides that, it looks good with the yellow trim!

    Also mulling over if the Ylisstol High boys should wear ties, or neck ribbons (like Robin does for the Plegia City uniform)?

    Plus wondering if the girls should wear different colour bows depending on division… or maybe just the same colour (like red - but that’s pretty conventional). However, purple bow looks great on the Plegia uniform!

    If the time comes, I’ll see if I can work it in!

    No problem with that! Now, this take two of the Ylisstol High uniforms is an improvement!

    Still, I'm wondering whether to change the yellow top to something more conventional like a white top or a light blue top. Seems yellow appears better as a trim. Like on sleeves, collars, or even the bows and ties (which by the way, the ties have a nice touch!). Then again, a sailor school uniform could be possible for Ylisstol High girls...

    In other words, the Ylisstol High uniforms still need refining...

    Elsewhere, the Plegia City uniform is supposed to be modelled after the colours of Robin's clothes from the actual game. So more like a black blazer with purple and yellow trims. Why, even the neck ribbon could be black (although the purple bow for the girls might just work - unless you want to try another colour?). I should have a crack at it myself one day.

    Can't believe the thread has spun off to talking about fashion :P And the next club outing is exactly that.

    I think I mentioned before that Alex's old club had four members in total? That would be them! Tamal, his cousin Sonali, and I think I mentioned him once when Alex was thinking about songs - Barrett, their final member.
    Wanted to integrate them a little bit more seeing as 1. Tamal might (probably will) be joining and 2. either way the others will cameo at the Summer Scramble, so I just wanted to give them a little bit more presence in the RP. I hope that's okay with y'all?

    Idol anime (eg. Aikatsu, Pripara, etc.) are a goldmine for coord and brand ideas--if you want, I can brainstorm some brand name ideas and find some costume ideas from those series. Although intended for girls, a lot of Aikatsu/PriPara costumes can be adapted to a male or nonbinary outfit.

    I do remember you mentioning that! But I didn’t make the connection that they were her former club mates.

    Looking at it now, white is definitely a safe bet and looks better. Guess that’s why a majority of school uniforms use white :sweat: These outfits work fine as a basis! Unless if you have other ideas to improve them. I do have other minor ideas, but that can wait. This is a great start.

    Now about the Tiki question… To be honest, I haven’t planned Tiki’s role in the fanfic at all. But Uta-loid already exists in this universe and I thought about having Miku and co existing in this universe under that banner…

    You know what? Why not both? I’ll make it so that Tiki appears as the Voice of Naga in the Halidom when the Shepherds get the last Gemstone, and that they are shocked to find out that she’s the same Uta-loid they know in their world but she helped Marth long ago. (And she does have a lot of fans because she’s a Uta-loid)

    No problem there, since there is very little content I've explored about Shirasagi High and Krakenburg High, outside of Xander and Ryoma. Feel free to add more content, just so long as it doesn't conflict with the fic! (That goes for any of us too) and it's not a bad idea to re-use some OCs from other RPs either!

    Suppose this is a good source of brands to populate this RP haha. The brands will likely appear as either standalone shops or sections within Anna's. Again, since you do say these are concepts, let's see what the refined brands will be like. They won't appear out the outing starts (which will be soon).

    @122 Generation Is everyone speaking English or Japanese here?
    Or:
    - Is it like anime where they're all speaking the same language in-universe, but we players use either language whenever it's convenient for us?
    - Is everyone just bilingual?

    Just asking since I was thinking of using Cristina Vee's English cover of Bad Apple for Alex, and Kai mentioned not understanding the lyrics of the Japanese cover, but Robyn, Maya and Tala all sang in Japanese.

    It's kind of a hybrid of both. My fanfic borrows heavily from the Persona/SMT series so generally, it would make sense if everyone was speaking Japanese... except Robyn makes a clear distinction at the beginning (even in chapter 2 of the fic) that her name is spelt with a 'y', unlike Robin. That implies that English is used too.

    So the short answer is: Sure, it is like the anime where everyone is speaking the same language relative to the player. But for the purposes of the fic, the default is Japanese. However, I assume everyone is capable of speaking English too.

    You know what? We can assume mostly everyone is bilingual (neither do I want to imply the actual existence of Japan or the UK in the fic either).

    All right, duly noted! For RP purposes I'll just have them be singing the original Japanese cover, but for listening/writing purposes I'll probably just write English lyrics for Alex's (and later Tamal's) parts, but post both English/Japanese versions for whatever people want to listen to when it comes to songs that have both.

    Actually, lemme clarify for Kai's part: while he's technically bilingual (per 122's assumption that mostly everyone is bilingual anyway), his confusion mainly stemmed from Bad Apple's lyrical dissonance, hence this:

    For Wave's outfit brand ideas, do you think one based on formal wear might work as well? I was thinking of Nora and Kai for that one, since they play classical based music they might think about it later on. Maybe it could be called Moonlight Waltz or something similar. I don't know about the types (once again those STILL confuse me) so I guess that'd be up to you guys.

    Formal wear… whelp, there could be some brand that specialises in formal or semi-formal wear, perhaps. The kind that you’d wear for occasions.
