I'm back with another review and it is a horror-game again. Irony Of Nightmare got published 2017 and has really good Ratings on Steam. The creators are pretty unknown and their other games are pretty average and aren't nearly as good as ION. Sadly the review isn't that long, but the game is pretty short which makes it hard to make a long review. Plot: There isn't really a plot. You are trapped in your home and scary stuff happens. You try to flee with the help of someone who messages on your Laptop, but should you really trust him? Spoiler: Ending spoiler The guy leads you directly into a death trap. You need to use your knowledge from your last playthrough to get a password which makes it able to you to message the dev of this game and he shows you an exit which leads you out of the game An average Horror-game story. Nothing special. Gameplay: A walking simulator. Collect keys to unlock rooms and try to flee. Puzzles: You are collecting keys to reach new rooms which also have a key for another room. If you do the second playthrough, it is a little bit more interesting since you need to figure out the secret password. Graphics: Really basic, but the monster/ghost design is neat. Sound (Music): Christmas music combined with horror-sounds. Funny but also kinda scary. Voice Acting: Doesn't exist Length: It costs one dollar or 50 cents in sale. The game is about 15 minutes, if you do only one playthrough. It is worth the money imo. Horror: Best part of the game. It is scary and has jumpscares, but they aren't everywhere like in other games. The amount of scares is perfect imo. Achievements: Really easy to get. If you do the two playthroughs which are necessary for completing the story, you get 100%. Score factors: Plot: 7/10 Gameplay: 4/10 Puzzles: 6/10 Graphics: 5/10 Music: 8/10 Voice Acting: / Content: 10/10 Horror: 10/10 Fun: 9/10 Memorable: 8/10 Total Score: 67/90 ION is a nice and small game which offers a good amout of content compared to it's small price. Everyone who likes horror-games and has a dollar left, should check it out. Three reasons to play ION: Cheap Great horror-experience Short (If you dislike it, you only wasted 15 minutes of your life) There aren't any reasons why you shouldn't Play it!
