Maybe you've heard about this popular theory, if not, watch it here:

The theory is that Link actually died prior to the events of Majora's Mask, and his journey through Termina is really his path to the acceptance of his death (it's hard to explain, just watch the video)
I think it sounds really legit, everything they say makes sense. But what do you think?

I saw a video on this a while back, and I agree that it sounds pretty realistic in a lot of ways. The towns in Majora's Mask, as mentioned, do seem to represent the five stages of grief.

I feel like this is legit. I think that the two final pieces of evidence are best pieces of evidence that Link is dead in Majora's Mask. As PBG said, with just the grief, he could be grieving over Navi's death or someone else (and I agree, why anyone would go searching for that *insert vulgar words here* is beyond me), but the official timeline, the Stalfos like Hero's Shade, and the "you've met with a terrible fate, haven't you" are pretty good evidence of Link's death. I do want to know where Link learnt the back slice and the helm splitter though.

Also, the thing about each town representing one of the five stages of grief is pretty convincing. The examples they showed in the video were pretty convincing, and I saw a few more things in the game from PBG's Majora's Mask collection video that prove it more.

But that's just a theo... Wait, I won't do that.
