Is the Shiny Charm really worth it?

Yes, I believe so because I don't understand the competitive stuff so all post game I spent shiny hunting, so I think that this increased chance is really worth it.

 

Its worth it the Shiny Charm makes shiny hunting so much easier.

 

If you are searching for some cool shiny Pokémon, the shiny charm really is worth it! It cuts down on hunting time by a lot.

 

I think it is. I've found plenty of shiny Pokémon since I've gotten the charm. If you ask around you can find lots of people to help trade you things.

 

The shiny charm sounds pretty useful,hunting shiny dratini and going on bout 200 eggs hatched so far and no shiny yet.

 

I haven't seen a single shiny since I obtained the shiny charm, so for me, it doesn't do shit...
But, appearantly it does work for most other people, so that's just the game hating on me I guess :|

 

Since getting my shiny charm I have found a grand total of 0 shiny Pokémon. All I do is run about in Friend Safaris and in the wild though.

 

I just got mine a week ago. I'm trying to use it in conjunction with the Masuda method. So far, no luck but I think it helps a bit.

I would really say it depends, if you want an easier way to get shinies then yes the shiny charm could be very helpful. On the other hand, if you have little to no interests in shinies then the Shiny charm could be a waste.

 

Iv'e hatched about 1500-2000 eggs since getting my shiny charm and none have been shiny! I personally don't care for shiny's anyway but i did really enjoy completing a live dex . Also, my 6iv ditto is japanese, further increasing my chance for a shiny egg (lol).

 

Well, I'd say it is, but.. ever since getting this thing I've been having a much harder time finding shinies. I know it's likely my luck but hordes and eggs take a lot longer than they used to, to the point where I almost wished I didn't get the charm, haha. Oh the luck. ):
