I know that the title is a mouthful, but I couldn't think of a shorter title.
Anyway, I would say that On Top of the World by Imagine Dragons is the one for me since I liked how it sounded when I first listened to it and then once I figured out what it was saying, I realized that the song is really depressing that the music makes it sound happy when in reality, it isn't.

I don't have any in mind at the moment, but it happened for my little sister, if that counts.
There's a French group that my mom loves (and made me love too) so we listened to their songs fairly often. There was one that my sister really liked named "Oublie-moi" (Forget me), and it was only after actually listening to the lyrics and watching the music video that she realized it was super sad.
And that reminded me; when I was little, for some reason I apparently loved "Bobo Léon" from Bobby Lapointe ("bobo" is like a way to say "slight injury" in baby talk) when it's actually not a very happy song either.

Despacito. Since I can’t understand Spanish, I didn’t know what the song meant, and since it was so popular I thought it was mostly clean. Sooner or later, I did some research and realised the song was a bit...dirty.

Most all main stream modern music. Sorry for not having an example in mind but usually I like the music of the song but once the lyrics start, its just depressing, about relationships, break ups or sex and I'm just not into that. There are exceptions of course but they are few. I get really into music and the lyrics of a song either make it or break it for me.

One song comes to my mind. I still really enjoy the song, probably more now than I did when I was younger, but when I was a kid I didn't really know what the song was about. The song was Madame Guillotine from the musical The Scarlet Pimpernel, which takes place around the time of the French Revolution. With the name of the song, and the era that the show takes place in, it's not that hard to figure out what it's about. When I was younger though, I didn't associate the word 'guillotine' with the thing that was used to cut peoples head's off. Then I read the book, finally made the connection, and had the lyrics to the song in my head all day. I remember feeling a little sick to my stomach that day when I realized what the song was truly about, it's kind of a lot to take in at twelve years old. But now, I love the song even more because of it.

Another song I can think of is Hellfire from Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Who would have thought that Disney would have a song about lust in one of their movies? It's such a shame that Hunchback doesn't get the credit it deserves, because it's a fantastic show.
