When i had my first crush, i had a Rom where i namedmy team in order:
    1. "I"
    2 "Really"
    3. "Love"
    4. "You"
    5. "(Their first name)"
    6. "(Their last name)".
I also wanted to name a Diglett DK (for donkey Kong) and accidentally forgot the K XD .I can't think of any good ones, except maybe a present i got my dad. I got him a Pikachu in Viridian Forest on a game i restarted for him to play, and named it "ILoveYouDad!" That's more of a sentimentally good name. Usually i don't name my Pokémon, but i used to name them all. Hence the Diglett named D

I named my butterfree "Butterbutt" once for the lolz. The humor wore off for everyone else after a few battles, but I still giggle a little bit every time I see it.

I made it my mission in Alpha Sapphire to nickname all of my Pokémon that I caught. I also made it my mission to complete the dexnav. So I gave a lot of really odd nicknames out to the Pokémon I caught. xD

This includes Old Lady the Kecleon, SharkBaitoah the Sharpedo, Yogurt the trapinch, and Mark the Azurill. Why Mark? I ran out of names lol.

I named my Charizard in LG Ryan after me. Then I named an Eevee after my dad and a Nidoking after my brother.

I named my Tropius Bananasaurus... Is that good or bad? XD

Most of my nicknames are references too, i.e. Lopunny named Hugh Hefner, Sceptile called Geico.

I usually spend a lot of time coming up with good nicknames, though sometimes I just type the first thing that comes into my mind, with actuall some pretty cool results (I did this for the entirety of my fanfiction Destiny, a few examples are Niamare the Buneary, C-Cis the Shinx, Kyuro the Snorunt and Avira the Zubat).

Let's just not talk about the time when I thought Clouds was a good nickname for an Altaria...

Most of the time, I name my Pokémon Japanese words. It's just my thing. Occasionally, though, I give them silly nicknames, like the Camerupt I entered into the ORAS toughness contests: I called it Hadoken!

I would name my Pokémon the first syllable of their name, followed by "-san". Thus, when I got a butterfree, I named it Butt-san.

Well, I named my Swellow "Stupid" at some point as a kid because.. reasons. ;_; My best friend at the time and I also named our Kyogres in Sapphire Yogurt because the names were so similar, heh.

But as far as more recent nicknames go, my Talonflame in X was named Hot Taco and will forever stay that way. 8D

    My Pidgeotto's name is "Bird."

And my Glameow's name is "Cat."

But for some reason, my Psyduck's name is "Tyler."

I'm really proud I named my Altaria "Kotori" which means little bird. I thought it was really cute, and I absolutely love it.
However, I once named my Ampharos "Yellow"
    Yeah, I'm not creative.

I put "Gordo" (Fat in Spanish) to my Snorlax, it was really cruel, but I was really angry with this one after searching for the damnable PokeFlute on Pokémon Yellow for too many time. I was 7 years old, and I think that I don't regret this xD.

And a good name...I don't remember one. I like the species name >.<

I always make sure to name my Cobalion and Terrakion Douchebag because of how annoyingly difficult they are to catch and how much they destroy my teams when I attempt to catch them. Why can't they just be as easy as Virizion?

I was once named my Torterra "America" so when it learned strength... "America's strength made it possible to move boulders around!"

Let's just say I am amused.

Saw something, so decided to copy it, named my slakoth bread so this happened. "Bread is loading around!"

Named my Krookodile Steve Irwin! Since he was the crocodile hunter after all.

Ladyfriend the Goldeen. And Chipotle the Electrode. Hahaha. Those are my two favorites in my AS team.
Before I transferred my Torterra, my first ever Pokémon from Pearl, I named him Yggdrasil. I thought it was fitting.

I've also named a Flareon Arschlock (yes it's misspelled, had to get it past the name filter). It took all of my 30 Pokeballs I had left to catch it as an Eevee. ):<

I once named my Gliscor Achromatic, what an awful idea. I used to name all of my Pokémon with just standard names, so I had a Ho-oh named Bill and a Lugia named Steve. I'm kind of glad I stopped doing that.

When I first got Pokémon, I went through a period where I just named them after what they were.
    eg.
    Oddish named Weed
    Ratatta named Rat
    Paras named Crab
    Krabby named Crab2

Come to think about it, I sometimes still do that now, but with a slight alteration in spelling. Like a Bellosom I called Pettle or a Pelipper named Pelikahn.

I named my Feraligatr, Gatorade. Y'know the sports drink. Couldn't think of anything, & I happened to have a bottle nearby.
