What's your favorite game in the entire Mario Franchise? I mean every game, even the non-Mario games. Luigi's mansion, Mario Kart, Mario is Missing, and even those weird Indie ones. What's your favorite Mario character? Do you prefer The villains or the hero's? What version is your favorite character design? Do you have a favorite power up?

My favourite title from across all Mario franchises is:

    ...because you can see:

    ...followed closely by:

Thus, my opinion on the matter:
...is that Luigi is the greatest character in the entire franchise.

    Mario Mushroom ★Legendary Triforce ★★
Super Mario Sunshine is by far my favourite Mario game and favourite game of all time period, I love the overall tropical setting and enjoyed F.L.U.D.D quite a bit too, even despite the major criticism the game was met with due to the water jet pack among other things. It has beautiful areas, great music, and the Shine Sprites that you collect have always really warmed my heart.

I grew up with the game and got it back in 2002, it was actually the first Mario game I ever got into, and while at times it did annoy and even intimidate me, I got into it more as time went by and it became a game that I would love for years to come. Played it from 2002-2012, as that was when my last Wii system stopped working, haven't played it since then due to upgrading to a Wii U and not finding a Wii or GameCube to buy for a decent price, but even so my feelings towards the game will never change. As far as side games go, I'd have to give a shoutout to Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, as both of them were also favored games that I adored in my childhood, they also had an overall great world to explore and wonderful music too for that matter.

Mario is my favourite, but I've also enjoyed his variations, such as Paper Mario and even Metal Mario, whom is the character I main in Mario Kart 8. Favourite power-up actually brings to mind another form of his that I've liked, that being Gold Mario, even despite the Gold Flower only appearing in New Super Mario Bros. 2, I honestly found it to be a cool power-up and would like it is they somehow brought it back in future games. Kind of doubt they will though, heheh. Yeah, I also rather enjoy the Mega Mushroom, and it actually has gotten quite a bit of attention. Then there's the Cat Suit in Super Mario 3D World, which is quite adorable and somewhat useful, and I can't deny that the Tanooki Suit has also been a fan favourite of sorts. Though, even despite all this, if he counts I guess that F.L.U.D.D and his various nozzles would have to be my favourite power-up, what with Super Mario Sunshine being my favourite game and a water jet pack just being an overall cool thing regardless.

:O ! We share the same favorite Mario game.
Superstar Saga has been my favorite ever since I bought it for GBA many, many years back. I always end up emulating it every now and then when I don't have much else to play, don't even know how many times I've completed it at this point.

Super Mario Bros 3 would be my 2nd favorite Mario game, also played that a countless amount of times. I believe it was my first Mario game too.
The Mario Party games ranging from 4 to 7 were also immensely fun to play too, along with Mario Kart as well. I feel like I'm forgetting a couple others, but I'll leave it at that.

I am a young noob. Out of the Mario franchise games I enjoy Mario Kart Wii the most, favorite character in the franchise probably being Dry Bones or the Magikoopa. Their designs are my favorite as well, and Yoshi too
The fire flower is a classic powerup, probably my favorite

In the entire extended series? I'm going to say it's a tossup between Donkey Kong '94, Super Mario 64 (or 64 DS), and Yoshi's Island SNES/GBA.

Wait, DK64? No, the 1994 Gameboy version of the Donkey Kong arcade game, featuring Mario as its playable character (and with 101 total levels, which is a lot, especially compared to the 4-level arcade game). Just imagine the "Mario Versus Donkey Kong" series starting on GBA, but minus all the sucking. Tighter controls, reasonably tougher stages, less gratuitous WAHOO YAHOO YIPPEE WAPAH! Yeah, it was awesome.

Super Mario 64 was, well, it was a masterpiece, nobody can argue against that (except its camera controls are beyond atrocious by today's standards, but that's all). The DS version improved upon it graphically (go look at Bowser in 64DS, then 64) and threw in the addition of more playable characters, minigames, and multiplayer. Mostly the same game though, not that I'm complaining.

Yoshi's Island SNES/GBA was an avant-garde, fun, colorful, exciting, musically excellent gaming masterpiece. It is so great that when I got a copy of Yoshi's Island DS, I actually flushed that game down the toilet. Popped it out of my DS, dropped it in the bowl, flushed. It's better there. The SNES/GBA one is the only Yoshi's Island game ever.

Oh, and might I add that, among all videogames ever, these three have the best final boss music remixes ever? DK94 SM64 YISNES

Whoa, whoa, so many questions. Let's just break this down then, shall we?

    -Favourite Game
My favourite game in all of Mario is definitely Super Mario Galaxy. The graphics, the characters, the music, the gameplay! I love everything about this game! It intorduced (or reintrocued) the Spin Jump, Rosalina and the Lumas, and Star Bits. Ermagherd, I've probably collected a million Star Bits in my entire SMG history, it's like religion to me.

    -Favourite Character
Rosalina, hands down. She's (so far) the only character with the title "Princess" not to gst kidnapped by Bowser, so that's a plus. She's got a great design, amazing back story, and is basically good in any game she's added to. Mario Kart? She is a light-heavyweight, which means she's one of the more balanced heavy-weight drivers. Smash Bros? Her recovery is beyond out of control, and being able to use her and a Luma at the same time? It's like Ice Climbers, but more attractive! Super Mario 3D World? Girl's the only character who can attack in her base form and can perform Double Jumps! Is there anything Rosalina can't do? (Well, except seeing out of her right eye...)

    -Heroes or Villains?
I'd have to say Villains; Waluigi and Fawful are just too loveable not to get my vote! Besides, the only heroes in Mario are... Mario and Luigi. But therd was that one time where you played as Peach. And then Yoshi too. Oh, and Bowser acted like a hero in Bowser's Inside Story! Nah, I'm sticking with Villians.

    -Favourite Power Up?
The Super Leaf. Whether you get the iconic raccoon ears and tail or the full-blown Tanooki Suit, being able to spin to defeat enemies and futter as you jump is just too overpowered. A close second would be the Ice Flower, specifically from Super Mario Galaxy. Man how many hours did I spend just skating on the ice because it was fun?

I love Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario Maker. I don't have many Mario Games, I do have some, and I love them all! As for the titles I mentioned:

Mario Kart 8: It's one of the only Mario Kart games I own (the other is Mario Kart DS and I love it a lot!). I really love the graphics and the multiplayer, because obviously I can play with my twin sister. Also, my sister plays as Link and I play as Bowser or Iggy, and sometimes Isabelle. Multiplayer mode is extremely hilarious if you try, and the ability to make your replays in fast-forward or slow motion is amazing! I've got a few years added to my life due to the amount of laughter this game gave me!

Super Mario Maker: The Amiibo costumes! I love playing as the Kid Icarus, Pokémon and Legend of Zelda Characters!

MKDS and MK7 are my games dude. My addiction to MKDS was almost on Pokémon levels and I played a LOT of Pokémon. Because of that, I'm still unbeaten by my friends in that game, which feels really good, not gonna lie. MK7 was a step up in controls, graphics and overall gamelplay and I've spent hours playing online on that game. When MK8 was announced I thought that was going to be the ultimate MK experience, but for some reasons the controls don't feel quite like they do on the 3DS. The graphics are gorgeous and it has some nice tracks and music, but for some reason I never get the same feeling of awesomeness I feel when I play MKDS or 7.
Super Mario 3D World is probably my favorite Mario platformer. So much variation between levels and bosses, multiple characters to play as, beautiful enviroment, a seemingly infinite amount of things to discover, perfect difficulty curve. There's a lot more going for it but you get the idea.
My favorite characters in the franchise have gotta be
