Japanese only games

Dangan Ronpa. So badly. I really want it at least there's a fan translated rom but it's really awkward having to emulate a PSP using a computer keyboard.

 

Summon Night Swordcraft Story 3... For GBA. There was a translation project but I dunno what happened to that. They probably dumped the idea.
A real bummer. I really want to play that game. Learning Japanese is in my mental list of stuff I wanna do, and when I do, I'm going to go, and play that game.

 

Other than the Beatmania IIDX games, I would love LSD Dream Emulator . QUite possibly one of the weirdest and scariest games ever made. XD

 

I went far enough to import a japanese version of Tales of the Tempest, turns out I weren't missing a lot, but I do know about this. I have sit around and wished for japanese games to get out of Japan, but lately the publisher seems to think more of the west as a market than they usually do, so most of the Japan only games I would like are on their way.

So many freaking otomes/galges/VNs. Arcana Famiglia, UtaPri, CLANNAD, Amnesia, etc. etc. Why can't VNs become more popular outside of Japan? ;;

Also, used to wish Tales of Hearts got a localized version, buuuuut now it has a Vita port that's coming (or has come? Idk I don't own a Vita so I haven't paid attention) overseas.

 

Jump Ultimate Stars for the DS/DSi. I actually have this game, but its an import. I need to use a translator when I play since it's all in Japanese xD. But the game is SO fun. It's like SSBs only with anime characters.

Just to name a few off the top of my head, there are playable characters from: D. Gray-Man, DBZ, One Piece, Yu Yu Hakusho, Yu-Gi-Oh, Naruto, Hunter X Hunter, and Bleach. A full list can be found in that link I gave. Very customizable too, set up like a manga page which I thought was really neat. You can select up to two characters that you can switch back and forth between. I'd definitely recommend it if you like anime and those types of fighting games. You can get a ROM of it online too if you can't buy it.
