    Hi, my name is Gwenn and I'm 15 years old. Today I'm going to start my very own Pokémon adventure with my best friend.

    We've been looking forward to this day for a very long time now. And it's finally happening.

    I grabbed a Poké Ball containing my Pokémon partner, Trapinch, and exited my home. I walked up to my friends house and knocked on the door.

    Still no reply. I sighed and decited to come back later. It was aprouching middag and I went for a snack at the local restaurant.

    Hi. My name is Gale and I'm 15. And today I'm going on an adventure with my best friend. I guess...we've been discussing it for awhile.

    Wait...crap! I overslept! Gah I'm an idiot. I quickly jumped aout of bed and changed. Grapping my partner Pokémon Marill I rushed out of my house. First checking her house. "Darn. She left. She didn't leave without me did she?" I said as I began to look. "Gwenn?"

    While drinking a delicious milkshake at the local restaurant, I suddenly saw Gale passing the window in a run. I smirked, let's see how long it takes before he finds me here. I made myself confortable in my seat and drank some more of my milkshake. That's what you get for oversleeping.

    I began looking for Gwenn almost everywhere. Beginning to think she really did leave without me. "Stupid alarm clock." I grumbled exhausted. Ten minutes later I decided to go to a local restaurant that we would go to sometimes and took a booth. I looked over to the windows. And as if she was mocking me I walked over. "What's with that stupid look on your face? I teased taking a seat across from her grinning. "And how many milkshakes have you had?" I said jokingly. Tipping the glass a little with my finger.

    "It's my second. So, had fun looking for me? That's what you get for oversleeping." But because I wasn't entirely cruel, I ordered a milkshake for him the moment I saw him nearing the restaurant. The waitress just arrived with it.
    "Here, it's your favorite. When you're done with that we'll finally start our adventure. I'm so exited."

    I drop my head. "Yeah. Sorry about that."Stupid alarm clock." I said. Grinning apologetically. Just then the waiter arrived with another milkshake and put it down in front of me. I thanked the waiter confused. And drank half of it quickly. "Thanks. For well...this and waiting." I said guilty. When I finished the shake I got up stretched and said "Okay. You ready." Amd put some money on the table for the shakes. "Hope you didn't allready pay." I went to the door. "You better hurry up or this time I'll leave you behind." I said with a smile.

    "Not a chance, we waited so long for this."
    Glad that we finaly could start our adventure I walked besides my friend.

    "So which Pokémon did you recieve? I got a Trapinch from my parents. I called him Reyn."
    While saying this I released Reyn from his Poké Ball. He happily called its name.

    "Mine? My mom kinda forgot I was going. So they just handed me a Pokéball and told me to go catch one." As I said this I released Marill from his Pokéball. "I named him Jazz. Best I could think off. But Jazz seems to like. Right Jazz?" Jazz skipping along side me smilied as a sigh of 'yes'. "Wonder what kind of Pokémon we will find." I said. Starting to fe excited.

    ((Stupid question. What region are we in?))

    "Well Reyn was caught in the desert region on route 111, north from the city. And I wanted to go and take a look for myself if that is okay with you."
    I wanted to catch my own first Pokémon like Gale did, but it was a tradition in my family that your parents picked your first Pokémon for you. I'm very happy with Reyn, he's a great friend. But I want to know where he came from.

    "Route 111 sounds fine. Jazz is a water type. So we should be good for any Pokémon that attack. I hope." I said. Havin him return to his Pokéball. "Yeah. That's where we will begin! Okay. Let's go to route 111." I began to walk in the direction I thought it would be before turning around. "Which way is that again? I forgot." I said smiling embarrassed.

    "This way. Honestly, you wouldn't last a day without me." I smiled and shook my head. I also returned Reyn into his Poké Ball. I was feeling very excited, we were finaly starting our adventure. I waited so long for this and it's great to share this with my best friend.
    Feeling childish from the excitement I stopped walking and grinned at Gale.
    "Last one at Route 111 is a rotten egg!" I yelled at him and started running, cathing him off guard.

    I...Hey that's not true. I would be fine on my own." I said. Half knowing that's wasn't true. I had been waiting forever for today. The excitement was building up inside me. I was about to run in the direction of the route when Gwenn rushed by me. Yelling about racing me. "That's not fair." I yelled after her as I began to sprint after her. I caught up soon. "Good thing I'm fast." I said as I slowly passed her. Feeling exhausted already. My pace begun to slow.

    I thought I would win because I had a (unfair) headstart, but Gale was faster that I thought and he swiftly passed me. But I wasn't going to give up that easily. I quickened my pace and caught up to him. We were running head to head, neither willing to loose to the other.
    The gate of Route 111 came into sight. Gale and I looked at each other with determination in our eyes.

    I smilied to myself. I had the lead. I was going to win! I noticed Gwenn had begun to gain on me. And we seemed to be tied. I looked at her. I could see the determination in her eyes. But I should have never stopped paying attention. The single, only crack in the entire city had been in my path. I hit it. Feeling myself fly though the air for a short few seconds before landing on my stomach a few feet from the door. "Ow..." I stammered. Standing up and wipping the dust off my jeans. I sighed. Knowing I lost.

    I was giving it my all to keep up with Gale. Smiling like an idiot I ran besides my best friend. But then Gale took a spectacular fall. I saw the dissappointment in his eyes. I stopped running and walked towards him. He didn't notice me at first as he was wiping the dirt of his jeans.
    "Are you okay? I told you you wouldn't last a day without me. Come on, let's start this adventure together." I reached out my hand with a genuine smile on my face.
