Are you a fan of live entertainment, be it at the theatre or a more low-key performance? Ever seen a play, musical, or opera? Got any favourites?
I only went to one. Concerts just scare me, but this one was okay, considering got to see Shinedown, which is one of my favorite bands. This was, and most likely will be, the only time I have gone to a live social event.
I love going to see live musicals. Plays are great too, but musicals are definitely my favorite. I enjoy seeing community performances, and professional ones. I don't know if I have a favorite that I've seen, but I have seen some fantastic ones, like Wicked, and a stage version of the Prince of Egypt. They're all pretty fantastic, and it's something that a bunch of people in my family enjoy.
Personally I do not like going to live plays. I once went to a famous acrobatics show and found it entertaining, but nothing I would want to pursue in the future. I prefer to be in the action with either tv shows or video games instead of watching in a theater. As far as stories and musicals, I love to watch them in the comfort of my own home, but not in person.
I love the theatre! I don’t get to go too often, but when I do it’s always a treat. Wicked, Matilda, and the Lion King were all phenomenal when I saw them in a professional theater, and I also saw Aladdin. It was good, but way different from the movie, and aside from the Genie, the changes weren’t the best. Still loved it though. The experience of musicals is always fascinating, and there’s always at least one song that I end up loving!
