1: I don't know that I even do, to be honest. Certainly some days I feel less-sharp than others. Sometimes I feel the most sharp at very strange times, such as after being sleep-deprived which really is supposed to do the opposite. There's nothing I intentionally do, I just live, and my mind is as sharp as it is on any given day. I let it all be, no Sudoku books yet.

2: Nope. At least I don't think so, because I've never heard of it before. Maybe I played it once without knowing.

3: Nah almost never. There has to be some kind of loud unexpected noise to suddenly happen behind me before I look back over my shoulder. Majority of the time I stay focused ahead or what's immediately in front of me and if I wanted to look in a different direction would turn to face that way.

    1. Oh yes, parts of it certainly are. Same could be said for some parts of my whole apartment. It's easy to tell where I go and what I use, and what I don't. I don't dust that regularly.

    2. Nope, never. I've never been to the United States at all in fact. Perhaps some day I'll go there for some reason, but probably not all the way down to Texas. I haven't even explored my own country very much, barely been out of the Maritimes. Furthest west I've been was some place in Quebec when I was really little in my uncle's big rig, and slept most of the time. It was a multiple days drive westward and even that was still considered "eastern Canada". I've seen more of England than I have of my own country despite spending maybe a total of 3 or 4 months all visits combined...though granted the size difference plays a huge part. There are some provinces here that could fit Britain within it multiple times over.

    1. Living to an old age completely alone and dying that way too.

    2. When something I authored anonymously and can never take credit for became something enough to spawn others adding to it, expanding upon it, and it sort of getting a life of its own, and over time nearly taking on urban legend status. I was proud to see that to the point credit doesn't matter to me.

    3. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I don't grow things but sometimes I do like creating art related things from scratch and with my own two hands and physical tools.

    4. Mostly fiction. Stuff at the top is the amazing House of Leaves, and the various fantasy works of Joe Abercrombie (I prefer his First Law world books to the Shattered Seas ones but SS was still a great fantasy trilogy).

What kinds of art do you make?

What do you spend most of your time doing?

    1. I'll keep it mostly anonymous, I think that would be best, but it involves a town of the dead.

    2. Traditional art of various things. Some of it fantasy based, some of it kind of abstract.

    3. To be honest, watching YouTube videos on my TV screen, second and third place belong to internet browsing on computer and smoking. I'll be the first to admit I don't have the best lifestyle.

If you could try any new thing, what would you want to try most?

What are your thoughts on the new Pokémon designs in sun and moon, versus the older ones of prior generations?

What do you think of shiny Pokémon?

    1. This was kind of hard and took some thought but I think I'd like to try my hand at booking (booking in this case meaning creating scenarios and setting up storylines and matches) a wrestling promotion for around a month or so. It would be interesting and I'm curious how well I'd do at it because as some people have proven *cough*VinceRusso*cough* it's not something that just anybody can pull off well.

    2. You know I think they're really on-par with the other generations. Some really awesome ones, some really silly ones, a few ugly ones. A decent healthy mix.

    3. I like their inclusion. Despite merely being a palette swap the nature of the game itself makes it all work out to be a worthwhile feature that can (and indeed does) encourage continuous play of a title long after the story is finished, and not just for those who like the metagame competitive stuff. Makes it so everyone has a reason to keep roaming and breeding and sticking around in the Pokémon world. Smart of Nintendo. Without shinies to hunt I think fewer people would stick with the games for hundreds of hours like they do.

Pretty much exactly how it is for me, I would never have broke 1k hours on x and y without them, seeing as I don't have the mind for competitive battle.

    Any interesting shiny stories?

Have you been involved in wrestling directly before or just watching/viewing?

What did you think about the move away from the traditional gym structure to trials and kahunas?

    1. One shiny encounter was really nerve-racking. One time in Pokémon Y I came across a shiny Abra. We all know the shenanigans Abra gets up to. I had one shot at it, one turn (no Mean Lookers, was not actively hunting for it or anything)...and no Quick Balls. It was night, however. So I threw a Dusk Ball and prayed it would stick. Fortunately, it did. It later became a neat shiny Alakazam, though I eventually traded it for a shiny of one of my childhood favorites.

    2. Nope, never, I've only ever just watched it, read about it and listened to shoot interviews about it.

    3. At first I sort of didn't like the idea, when I first heard of it I thought it was going to be full of weird and frustrating minigames, but the execution was well done and the fact that a small part of the game dealt with establishing a proper league like everywhere else made me more okay with it. I don't think it needs to be done again or that every new Pokémon game from now on should have it's own unique progression system but after playing through it I feel it worked out well and fit Alola, and I'm glad there was still a proper Elite 4 at the end of it all.

That is fabulous, I have the shudders just imagining a shiny catching me off guard like that, since I never have the specialist stuff like mean look etc, with me. I did get my first random shiny catch me off guard only recently but it was alolan rattata so that was ok once I got over the surprise :'D

I also am still adjusting to the idea of the new league system and as I've procrastinated doing other things and not progressing I'm still too early in the story to say how I'll ultimately feel about it. I think as long as the more traditional system remains in other regions I am ok with having something unique to alola, much like other regions have aspects that were never reused. *still slightly sad that they didn't take secret bases outside of ORAS though

    What's scarier, spiders or snakes?

If you could make your own change to the games in a future generation, what would you add/do differently/take out

    Favorite youtube channel?

    1. Spiders, definitely spiders. Snakes in my own experience (and in general as far as I know) are afraid of people and will try to avoid them, and if not they are at least easier for people to see and avoid. Spiders on the other hand don't really care or seem lack the capacity to care, and are commonly found in people's houses all over the world. But I might be wrong on some points for some places, haven't been everywhere and I'm not an expert on those animals. But spiders scare me more.

    2. I'd add a few new evolutions to some old Pokémon like Gen 4 did (Dunsparce, Qwilfish and Jynx come to mind instantly for this) and I would bring back Super Training just cause I really liked that method of EV development moreso than the other ways. I'd also remove the medicine feature from Refresh or a refresh equivalent so that status healing items have a purpose again, I would keep in that "it loves you so much it recovered from status" thing though. I'd also make sleep status act more like confusion, in that after battle your Pokémon automatically wakes up, Sleeping isn't an ailment like a burn or poisoning, it's just a natural thing that living things do, and your Pokémon will wake up on its own in battle anyway just like it will snap out of confusion on its own in battle, so I think it makes sense that it should be done with after the battle too. I'd also make it so you can change the name of Pokémon traded to you. Once they are yours they are yours, there should be no such restriction on naming, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

    3. It changes sometimes and it's so hard to pick one..but if I really had to it would have to be donottakerequests because as of right now it's the only way to watch what is my all time favorite non-animated TV show in its entirety. For some reason it's never gotten a DVD set release and when it did last re-air on TV for some weird legal reasons only season 3 to 6 was shown before looping back around, and these days it's not even shown at all on any station I have access to. I love this channel and show and I watch the entire series (plus the 5 made for TV movies that came after it taking the story of the place further) all the way through start to finish at least once a year. I've downloaded and saved every single episode and movie onto my HDD from YT just in case the channel at some point gets taken down; it's not out of the realm of possibility because those stingy non-DVD set releasing folks who own the rights have sort of come after them before already, taking down a few episodes (that is why a couple of episodes are mirror-imaged, they had to be reuploaded and it was necessary to do that to avoid whatever auto-detection YT has, thankfully they're still completely watachable and it's only like three or four episodes out of the entire series, and if you're playing it from a download it's not hard to flip it in say VLC or something and bring it back to normal). Wow, this answer got way longer than I thought it would but I seriously love this show and rarely get to talk about it and not a lot of people even know it exists.

I agree, I live in an very unfortunate place that has both the deadliest snakes and some horrenous spiders, and so far it's the spiders that get into the house, at least the snakes are outside! It's impossible to sleep after finding them in my bed and I'm a zombie all summer now @ _ @'

I like your idea for something spice up Pokémon like dunsparce, it bothers me that sometimes Pokémon are so abandoned like that, but then again I think it's ok to have some that never do evolve. I'm on the fence about the refresh, I don't really like the button waving about at me and I rarely remember to actually use it but if a status has gotten in the way I do get a small sense of satisfaction that I can fix it without trekking back to the shop (I know, I should just get to post game, be rich and buy plenty of all the cheap healing items haha). That point you make about sleeping is a really good one! I can see how poison persists but sleep really shouldn't.

I know what you mean about trying to track down older and specific things that don't get proper releases for whatever reason. I asked around for things I thought would be common like the digimon movie and original sailor moon series and everywhere insists you can't get them, they just aren't being made anymore! They aren't even that niche I think! D: But obviously once a company decides that something isn't going ahead it really doesn't get anywhere.

Do you think that television has gottne better or worse over the years?

    1. Very fast in short bursts. I don't have great endurance though is the thing. But over short distances and for a short time I can run very quickly. It's come in handy a few times when I was younger.

    2. Hard to say..I suppose I could say going for long walks at night for no purpose besides taking in the quiet atmosphere. That's boring to some people I imagine.

    3. Yes, the chlorine that gets used in swimming pools. No matter how well I shower afterwards, within a few hours and into the following few days I get terrible itchy burning rashes from it. It was much worse when I was a kid but it still happens. I don't swim in anything but fresh water like lakes and rivers, can't use pools.

    1. Worse. Stations have lost their unique identities it seems like, they're all too similar these days and many channels I once enjoyed have turned to shit and gotten watered down. TLC used to be a neat science and documentary channel, now it's full of the most vapid reality TV imaginable. A&E is similar, they used to have neat Biography shows and true crime things and now it's all reality TV as well. Could go on and on. I also can't seem to click with a lot of the modern shows that get produced and shown, like drama series and comedy series I've tried watching. They make me feel like an alien sometimes (but that part is more my problem than a general problem with TV). I don't watch much on TV any more, it's hard to find something I'd want to watch on the stations available to me.

    2. Meat egg-rolls from one or two specific Chinese places around here. Some places don't do them the way I like but a couple of places get them just right with this awesome tasty meat-paste kind of filling and perfect crunchy shells.

    3. There isn't one really, although the general region of eastern Europe I find interesting and would probably pick somewhere like Romania or Serbia I guess. I don't think about travel too often.

I'm not much of a traveler either and couldn't agree more, we don't have those stations either, there's only a few here and they are so clogged with crap. I never use the tv unless it's for console games anymore. Most reality shows encourage the kind of behavior that people claim not to want in their kids, yet it's projected for everyone to see, so it's some pretty full on hypocrisy in my opinion.

Yeah, the state of television is not a very good one. I get cable service through a special bundle deal with my phone and internet, if it were not for good pricing on this special deal I got I would not have it, and once the deal runs out I will probably cancel the TV part of my services.

1.I don't often play cards these days because most of my time is spent alone and I don't know most of the games. Some games I once knew how to play I have forgotten how they work and need to be reminded. But occasionally when visiting with family we play cards and it can be fun. Favorite game is probably good old Crazy 8s, classic old game to play with a deck of cards that holds some good memories for me, like when I used to play for hours with my late grandmother. I've never played any TCG but at one point did collect Magic the Gathering for the sake of collecting because I loved the art and fantasy worlds. Still have like 400 or so cards in this old shaving case, all older ones spanning from '93 to at the latest the early 2000s. Not sure if there is a market for them but I kind of want to sell them to a card shop or something, I'm no longer interested and they're collecting dust in my closet.

    2. Sometimes I did and sometimes I didn't. Certain years were good, certain ones were very bad, and in the last years of highschool I was in a dark place mentally (that I still find myself sometimes) and was all about doing the bare minimum to pass and relying on test scores to show my knowledge levels, ignoring busywork class assignments and often more concerned with smoking and doing drugs and sitting around technically illegal (though the faculty always let us be for some reason) campfires down in the surrounding woods with a band of less than savory (but not totally bad, more like rough around the edges) characters than studies. I never failed a grade or anything though, I always pulled through to passing with exam marks and test scores and the few assignments I would do that I found interesting or worthwhile enough (or that I calculated I must do to meet that bare minimum)

    3. Introvert, totally. Usually I am very quiet and it takes me a while to essentially "gain momentum" into relaxing and speaking more; sometimes in the past by the time I finally had that momentum it was too late and time for everyone to depart for other business. While I do get lonely quite a lot, at the same time I really value the obligation-free alone time I have (kind of sounds wishy-washy and hypocritical doesn't it? Feels that way too sometimes too. It's hard to explain but anybody who is the same way probably understands what I mean). Like, I could not fathom having to share an apartment with a room mate or live in some kind of dorm, it would drive me nuts, the only situation I can think of where I'd be cool with it is if I had a significant other to live with, and even then I would be hesitant unless I was very sure they were trustworthy and loyal to the relationship; it would take a decent length of time for me to even consider having a SO move in with me, I simply could not jump into it the way some folks can.

My introversion is less apparent online than it is in real life, but it's like that online sometimes too. Hard time getting close to people is pretty much the fruits of it all.
