    I'm Frozen obsessed and have been a Pokémon fan since the blue version. I'm mainly a writer but I draw as well. Personally I think Pokémon serve a better purpose in art, whether textual or visual or audial--yes, even songs about Pokémon are cool--rather than the competitive aspect of them.

    I also think that the graphics of a Pokémon battle are just as important as any other aspect. Most I've said this to don't agree at all, but I thinkt he appeal of Pokémon is the art, and the graphics for a move are a part of that art, in addition to the Pokémon themselves.

    Though Gamefreak spent more time giving well crafted animations for common moves like Close Combat and Brave Bird, whereas some rarer moves like Vital Spirit and Cross Chop haven't really improved much from their introduction generation.

    Oh yeah, Psyduck is the best Pokémon in my opinion, but it is not to be confused with my favorite Pokémon, which is Zangoose. I didn't like that in the anime Zangoose was made out to be villains, terrorizing Paul's, and later Ash's, Chimchar.

    I suppose they needed a Normal type so that Chimchar could show it when it evolved into Monferno, but they could've picked something other than Zangoose.

    I agree, the graphics are an important part of Pokémon. I mean, look at how far we've come since RBY!
    Psyduck and Zangoose are both pretty cool, haha. Though I wonder why Psyduck and Golduck's names aren't switched, it'd make more sense the other way around.

    I definitely agree about graphics appeal in Pokémon being important - although I love collecting and training monsters it's always nice to have a bit of eye candy while you're occupied with such. The transition to 3D has made the game look so much more alive and vibrant.

    Anyways, welcome to the lake, Anna! Frozen was amazing so your username instantly caught my eye. :')
