    Today, I was playing a hack by the name of Light Platinum and this happened!!

    A shiny D: I can't use it in my real games and even worse, they didn't put in the sprites for shiny Pokémon so it's just a fail all around.

    Has this happened to any of you?

    I never get shinies on my actual cartridges, I only get them on emulators too, haha. Or I just find them in the Battle Tower.

    I found a Shiny Lillipup on an uncompleted Black Nuzlocke on the computer, and I also found a Shiny Geodude on a Rom Hack called Shiny Gold. Whenever I played the Battle Tower on Fire Red on my cartridge, I'd always get shinies there.

    So yeah, it really pissed me off as well.

    The only shiny I have ever found in the wild was this year, on my Crystal Nuzlocke run. I caught a Zubat in the Ice Path. I then had a shiny Crobat to take on the Elite 4, along with the Kanto leaders. Its cool :)

    How do you know it's shiny though? Is it because of the yellow number or what? Did it do the stars animation when you ran into it?

    This happened to me on a ROM of Emerald, one of the very first Pokémon I found after getting Pokeballs was a shiny Poochyena. I used it all through the game till I stopped playing. It did suck a lot that I knew it was stuck forever on a ROM with no chance of leaving..but hey, still a shiny I guess, and I didn't cheat for it.

    Yeah, they didn't put the sprites for shiny Pokémon in the game for any of the Pokémon, the only way to tell was the sparkles in battle, the # is coloured differently and the background behind Roselia is actually brighter compared to the other Pokémon.
