Kalos in Chaos (My First Ever Fanfction)

Chapter One : Kalos at Peace (For Now)​

It has been five years since the downfall of Team Flare, and Kalos is at peace. Our hero Caesar is now 17 and enjoying life in Vaniville Town with his mom Grace and his girlfriend Nancy. He thought he had it all, money, his Pokémon, his girlfriend, his family, and a happy and peaceful life. Little does he know that his life is to be disrupted really soon.

Dear Caesar,

You have been invited to Elite Four to attend the retirement party of Drasna, the Dragon-type Elite Four, and also to celebrate her 70th birthday. The party is today at 4:00 p.m., you may bring one guest. Oh and bring your Pokémon, the ones you used to beat the the Elite Four and and the Champion.

I just woke up when I found this letter on my nightstand with the seal of the Pokémon League on it. Seems like Diantha is getting pompous. "Champion of Kalos" huh? I'll show her later today. Meanwhile, what is that wonderful smell?

I walked downstairs to see my mom making eggs and bacon for breakfast. " Hey Mom I just got this letter from Diantha saying I'm invited to Drasna's retirement/birthday party and that I can bring a guest."

"Well bring Nancy." Mom said. " In the 5 years that she's been here she has never seen the Pokémon League. "

" Alright, I'll ask her.", I said as I sit down to eat. After I finished eating, I went upstairs, changed my clothes and said bye to my mom before rushing out the door to Nancy's house. As I ran out I heard my mom yell: "Why don't you just call her?!"

After I walked all the way to Santalune City I showed up at Nancy's house all scratched up. Even If you're the Champion, you're still gonna get attacked by Pokémon if you don't have yours. Anyway, when I knocked on the door it suddenly burst open and there stood my girlfriend... in a party dress?

" Are you going somewhere? ", I asked

" Yeah you're gonna invite me to Drasna's retirement/birthday party."

" Um how do you know that? "

"I'm a psychic... no I'm just kidding your mom told me. "

" Oh I'll guess I'll pick you up at 3:15?

" Okay, see you then."

After we kissed I ran all the way back to Vaniville via the " Forest of Doom ".

Chapter 2: Kalos on Fire​

" Wow,it's so beautiful! ". We have just arrived at the Pokémon League and now Nancy is overwhelmed by the how beautiful it is. Almost everybody has seen the Pokémon League, whether they're trainers or tourists. But Nancy hasn't seen the beauty of a Pokémon League since she beaten the Johto League. And she was young back then and didn't really care about sightseeing. But now that she's grown up, she's such a girl.

"Hello Caesar, so nice to see you again,", said a voice. We turned to see Diantha, the "Champion of the Kalos Region".

"Hi Diantha, it's been a while." I said."This is Nancy my girlfriend."

"Nice to meet you Diantha.".

"Likewise."

Then Diantha turns to me. "Caesar, you know that this is Drasna's retirement/birthday party. After Drasna's retires, we will be short on staff. What I'm saying is would you like to be the new Dragon-type Elite Four?"

I took a moment to let that sink in. Then I took another. And another.

"I'll let you think about it.", Diantha said. "Meanwhile enjoy the party, the Gym Leaders are here along with Prof.Sycamore and the rest of the Elite Four."

And so we did. I said hi to my friends, introduced them to Nancy and if they challenge me, beat them in a battle. But while I was doing those things I kept thinking about Diantha's offer. Do I want to be the next Dragon-type Elite Four? But as the day went on the thought stopped coming to my head and I actually enjoyed the party. I haven't been this happy since I beat the Pokémon League. But then came dinner.

As I was going to the Pokémon Center to eat dinner with everybody, Drasna approached me.

"So have you decided yet?", Drasna asked. "Wait don't answer that. If you are going to be the next Dragon-type Elite Four, you have to prove to me that you're worthy. If you don't, then I still want my last battle to be with you."

"I would love you battle you again Drasna.", I replied. "But can we do that after dinner? I don't do well on an empty stomach."

So after dinner I found myself on the battlefield facing Drasna. "This will be a 6-on-6 battle between Drasna and Caesar. If all the Pokémon of one side faints that side loses." Diantha announced. "Battle begin!".

I sent out my Haxorus, Kilgharrah (That's a Merlin reference, I don't expect you to understand.) while Drasna sent out her Dragalge.

"Kilgharrah, use Dragon Dance!". Kilgharrah started shaking and a mystical fire appeared and started spinning around it. Suddenly the fire entered Kilgharrahs body making it look more poise and dangerous.

"Dragalge use Dragon Pulse!". A bright beam of rainbowness suddenly streaked across the battlefield and is heading straight for Kilgharrah.

"Kilgharrah jumped out of the way of the laser, planted its feet in the ground, and roared to the sky. The ground suddenly started shaking and waves after waves of earth hit Dragalge, KO'ing it. Now Drasna sent out Dragonite, a new addition to her team. It looked at Kilgharrah with a look that could kill (If looks could kill) and Kilgharrah sent one right back.

"Dragonite use Extreme Speed!". Dragonite became a blur rushing across the battlefield heading straight for Kilgharrah.

"Kilgharrah use Outrage!'. The two Pokémon rush at each other and when they collided the force was so strong that it sent them flying backwards. When the smoke cleared we saw that both Kilgharrah and Dragonite are fainted. Now I sent out my own Dragalge, Leviathan while Drasna sent out her Altaria.

"Leviathan use Toxic!". A stream of evil-looking purple stuff came out of Leviathan's body and streaked towards Altaria. Upon contact it entered Altaria's wings and feathers making it a sick shade of purple.

"Altaria use Sing!". Altaria opened its mouth and a beautiful melody came out. I looked over to Leviathan and saw that it is asleep.

"Leviathan wake up and use Dragon Pulse!". It stayed asleep.

"Altaria use Cotton Guard!". Now I know what her strategy is. Since Leviathan is the only Special attacker on my team, she'll put it to sleep forcing me to switch out or risk getting hit by a Dragon Pulse. Meanwhile she is setting up Cotton Guards so that the Pokémon that comes out can't do a lot of damage because its a physical attacker. (If you don't get it Cotton Guard raises the user's Defense by 3 stages.)

"Leviathan please wake up and use Dragon Pulse!" I guess using "please" was a good idea because Leviathan woke up and fired a beam of rainbowness towards Altaria.

"Altaria, counter with Moonblast!" Altaria sent a big ball of pink light to intercept the Leviathan's Dragon Pulse. The moment those two moves collided, there was a huge explosion. BOOOOOOMMMM!!!! But It wasn't from the collision of the two moves. The Pokémon League building has exploded. Everybody was knocked to their feet. Siebold quickly got up sent and sent out his Pokémon and they quickly extinguished the flames.

Suddenly we heard 8 more distant explosions. We rushed into the Pokémon Center and turned on the TV. It turns out all the Gyms except for the Lumiose Gym and Parfum Palace have been destroyed.

"Who could do such a thing?", Nancy asked." And where's Malva?"

"I haven't seen her since dinner.", I said.

"Me neither.", said everybody else.

"Could she be responsible for this?", Nancy asked.

"That's possible." Diantha said. "No one has came here since you and Caesar arrived. And we've suspected that she might be involved with Team Flare.

"Look at the TV!", Viola suddenly yelled. What we saw was horrifying. The fires from the destroyed gyms and Parfum Palace has caught onto the surroundings. Entire cities and forests are burning up and people can be seen running from the flames.

"Kalos is on fire.", I said. And there is nothing we can do about it.

Author's Notes: Well that really took a long time. Mainly because this is the second time I wrote this chapter. The first one was deleted. I'm quite thankful that that happened actually. Chapter 3: Kalos is at War

It's been 12 hours since Kalos was set on fire. The last of the fires has been put out and now the exhausted group returns to find a surprise waiting for them. Malva is there waiting for them along with 50 Team Flare grunts, all with their Pokémon out.

"Well hello there!", Malva exclaimed. "We've been expecting you."

"What are you doing here?", Diantha asked. "We thought you we're done with Team Flare."

"But that was before I knew that my son is still alive.", Malva said. "You see 20 years ago Lysandre and I was married, and we had a child. I love that child very much and I would do anything for him. When I found out about Team Flare we separated and Lysandre took my son. I thought he killed him because he didn't want a son in the first place. But then 5 years ago, a few months after dear Caesar her took down Team Flare, my son approached me and said he wanted to take revenge on the man who doomed his father. So I helped him rebuild Team Flare. Oh where are my manners, Fiero, come out and say hi."

A young man, maybe in his early 20s stepped out. He is the splitting image of Lysandre except a lot younger. "Hi my name is Fiero, and I'm gonna take over the Kalos Region."

"Oh I don't think so.", said another voice. We turned to see a blond girl around 18 years old standing on a cliff along with at least 10 other people in a light blue uniforms.

"Well who are you beautiful?", asked Fiero.

"The name's Carol but most people call me Coral. My father, the leader of Team Aqua wanted to expand his reaches so he sent me here and now Team Hydro is going to take over the Kalos Region."

"You have to get through us first!", exclaimed Fiero.

"Let me make an offer that would make both of us happy.", Coral said. "How about we combine our teams and work together to take over the Kalos Region."

"Deal.", Fiero said. "But what shall we be called? Team Hydrare, or Flaredro?"

"Well you can call yourself The Steam Team for all I care." I said, first one of our group to do so. "We are not letting you take over our home."

"Alright.", said Fiero. "Let's have ourselves an old fashion war. Pick out a HQ, gather troops and expand our territories."

"And don't bother asking the other regions for help.", Coral spoke up. "They're all preoccupied with their own wars."

"Our HQ will be here, at the Pokémon League.", said Fiero. "Where's yours gonna be?"

"Ours will be at the Pokéball Factory." I said. "Let's go guys." So we got on our Pokémon and flew to the Pokéball Factory. When we told the owner of the situation he immediately gave up his factory for us to use. We called our families and informed them of the situations. Nancy's parents will go to Vaniville Town. My mom said that she will stay and fight along with the people in Aquacord Town. Good to know that our families are safe for now.

Later this afternoon we I made an announcement on Live Television. "As you must have known by now, seven gyms along with the Parfumerie Palace has been destroyed. The group that is behind this is Team Flare. The same group that almost destroyed Kalos 5 years ago. But they have returned, and along with another group, Team Hydro, and they have declared war on Kalos. They have taken control of the Pokémon League and is using it as their HQ. We have established our own HQ at the Pokéball Factory. We are looking for people to join us and take down the forces that wants to enslave us. If you want to join us please come to Laverre City. Kalos is at war. Please we are asking you to fight for your homes, fight for your family, and fight for your freedom. My name is Caesar Jackson, and I approved this message.

Chapter 4: Kalos is Getting Ready For War​

​

Its been 3 days since I made that announcement on TV, and now hundreds of people have arrived at Laverre City hoping to fight back at Team Flare and Team Hydro. Seeing that we can now fight, I called the Gym Leaders, Diantha and the 3 Elite Four members along with Nancy to the "Planning Room". (Please give me a better name for this room.) I pulled up the holographic map of Kalos.

"The people have told me that Team Flare has spread out to take control of Santalune City and Snowbelle City. They are also amassing troops on Route 4 probably planning to take Lumiose City. Now my mom told me that Team Flare Grunts has been spotted in the Santalune Forest. She tells me that Serena, Shauna, Trevor and Tierno are planning to blow the bridge connecting Aquacorde Town and Route 2 to make things more difficult for Team Flare if they do want to attack." Now I stopped talking to put Red Fs on the places where I said Team Flare was. "But on the other hand," I continued. "they make no movement towards Route 19 and Route 20. Probably because Route 19 is very difficult to traverse due to the old bridge connecting one side of the route to another. And Route 20 is very easy to get lost in. Now for the things happening in the Southeastern side of Kalos. It seems like Team Hydro is working with Team Flare but not combining teams. They have taken Geosenge Town, Cyllage City, Ambrette Town, Camphrier Town and the Parfum Palace, which they are using as their HQ. It seems they are amassing troops on Route 5 towards Lumiose City. IF they get pass Route 9 and access Glittering Cave and its abundance of Fossils.... " I stopped to put blue Hs on where I said Team Hydro was. "We need to answer to this. We need our own navy to counter Team Hydro's navy. Siebold I trust you can handle that." He nodded. "The best place to have our navy is Courmarine City. We can have a base at Azure Bay. Since that is our naval base we need large amount of troops there to protect it. We also need troops at Shalour City to make sure Team Hydro doesn't break through. Now the only problem we have is our Eastern side. It is very difficult to get through Route 17, but if we don't get through we risk losing Couriway and Anistar. What should we do?"

" I think we should send troops to Dendemille and contact the people of Anistar and Couriway and tell them to hold out there.", Grant said. They can blow the bridge and wait there until we find a way to get to them."

"Alright." I said, putting purple Ks on the places that we will control. " Now lets focus on the more pressing matter. We know that the Steam Team is planning to take Lumiose City. It would be disastrous if they take that city. Lumiose has 5 routes branching from it. Route 4, 5, 13, 14, and 16. 3 of those routes lead to our territory. Also the Lumiose Station is the only way to access Kiloud City and if they take Kiloud they could use it as a base for sending air attacks or whatever. The point is we cannot let them take Lumiose. I don't expect us to take Lumiose, I just want us to stop them from accessing to Routes 13,14,and 16."

"And how do you propose we do that?" , asked Wikstrom.

"I don't know." I replied. Silence. "Now Siebold along with managing the Navy base can you manage the troops on Route 13?"

"Sure."

"Diantha can you manage the troops on Route 14?"

"Yes."

"Drasna can you take care of the troops in Dendemille Town and Route 16?" "And Wikstrom can you take care of the troops in Shalour City."

"Of Course/Yup."

"Alright now that we got everything settled, I see you in Lumiose in two days."

Author's Notes: Well it looks like Kalos is getting ready for war. In the next chapter we will meet some more OCs. And I really should stop putting Kalos into my Chapters' name. I don't know when I'll get the next chapter up. With school starting next Monday my mom is not letting touch the computer besides the weekends. Maybe I'll right the chapters on paper at school then rewrite them using the schools' computers, I don'y know. I'll try to get another chapter up this week.
