    Soooo Kdrama?

KDrama is Korean Drama with distinctive features that makes it a little different to more Western tv series or soap operas. It's pretty popular worldwide due to the Hallyu Wave (the huge spread of Korean culture).

There are a huge set of genres within the drama including melodrama, medical, historical, idol, food, amongst many others.

Have you guys heard of KDrama? If not, do you think you'll ever check it out?
If so, what are your thoughts on it? Any favorites?

Kdrama is so diverse, I'd love to see your thoughts on it!

I love K-Dramas! I don't watch them as often as others though, I mainly stick to Bollywood and those types of dramas, as I don't like subtitles in dramas for some odd reason.

My favorite K-drama will have to be mainstream. Boys over flowers, due to it's manga counterpart- the acting of that K-Drama was perfect, no actors could have done that better. This was also the same drama that got me binge watching other dramas, even though I knew what was going to happen. Since then, I've gotten quite a few recommendations from friends on what to watch, although I'd take any K-drama recommendation I can get nowadays.

    Any K-dramas to recommend?

OH GIRL. ANY KDRAMAS TO RECOMMEND? Girl I got a list. I'll give you 4 though.
    Okay okay. Ahem.
    1) My Love From the Star (2014) - If you like mainstream, it doesn't get more mainstream than this. My Love from the Star is possibly one of the most popular Kdramas out there, and for good reason too! It's a fantasy romance about an alien who lands on Earth during the Joseon Dynasty in Korean and falls in love with a popular actress in the modern era. I admit, you might hate the female lead at first, but you'll love her by the end of the drama if you stick around. Also, the alien is a hunk you will fall in love with.

    2) Pinocchio (2014) - I really can't give you too many details on this drama, but the pacing of the plot is amazing. It's more of a drama based on the effects of news reporters and their reports. I mean it doesn't sound to interesting the way I'm describing it, but this is a major tear-jerker.

    3) Kill Me, Heal Me (2015) - This drama. This drama. Alrighty, this drama is basically about this rich dude who has dissociative identity disorder. He basically has 7 different personalities and receives aid from this psychiatrist in secret. 7 personalities, 7 different characters, played by a single man. The casting for this drama couldn't be better!

    4) Master's Sun (2013) - Master's Sun is a "horror"-comedy. The female lead in this drama can see ghosts and is kind of forced to help them out so they can find peace. Of course, everyone thinks she's crazy because of this, especially the male lead. Their lives take a new turn as they work together to deal with the terror and sadness brought about by the spirits, while looking into the problems of the male lead's past. Because why not?
