Do you like drawing simple characters, backgrounds or works more, or do you perfer to go as detailed as you can? How often do you do either or for a drawing? Does detail discourage you?

I like drawing/spriting something simple. Simple. plain, easy and done. Detail sometimes discourages me, as I can't get everything right. But hey, trial and error~!

I like making really detailed pictures sometimes, but a lot of the time my art ends up being quite simple 'cause my patience is pretty terrible, haha;; I get really proud when I do manage to put in the amount of detail I like to though. Takes ages to do and my hand aches, but it's worth it

I love the details that people can put into art, but drawing details myself isn't really my thing. I tend to start getting frustrated after a short while. Though sometimes I can pull it off, when I'm in an odd mood.

Depends, honestly. Sometimes I get the mood to do super detailed pieces (that i never finish)
and some days I'm looking to just draw loads of egg creatures.

IMO the overall picture is more important than just details. They're kinda like an added bonus for me.

@[member="murmurlade"] Egg creatures? That sounds really cute! Do you have any pictures of your egg creatures? Are they often detailed?
