Gameplay Journal Knight Errant - A Shield adventure!

Hello everyone! I have decided to celebrate the release of the DLC by starting my first themed nuzlocke run for gen 8!

So starting up, I had a starter swap ages ago thanks to @Wizard . Tarasque (Tara for short) will be the starter for this run. I have never really used that family much so this should be interesting.

Got through the boring obligatory bits and here is the team so far! I will be playing through out the night so expect updates tomorrow.

 

Update! Decided to wait a bit as the types I have for this run can be a bit tricky to get early on. I reached the Wild Area and very carefully trained for a while, that place is terrifying on early nuzlocke runs so I made sure I had pokedolls ready (thanks random NPC lady!)

After that I finished up all the npc stuff around Motostoke and decided to take a peek at the Isle of Armor, thankfully it scales the same as the wild area at least from what I can see so even early I can find 'mons there.

So I finally added a fairy type to the roster with Perle the Jigglypuff! Did not stick around for long...Avery creeped me out tbh plus the Pokémon in the area were a bit rough for my level so I went back to the mainland for some grinding.

Found my way to route 3 and leveled up the team a bit and with a bit of luck, found myself another team mate in Aegis, the Klink! While I was there I popped into the mine as well and found myself a Drilbur by the name of Valiant. The team is shaping up nicely so far I think.

 

More grinding! Plus I got the first gym out of the way. I love my boy Milo but he is a bit of a pushover when you have a flying type.

Found myself a fuzzy little character to join the group in Bjorn the Galarian Meowth. This guy and his evo are so divisive this gen but I really enjoyed having one on my team in my regular play through so I am glad to bring this guy into the team!

After the gym I made my way through route 5 and picked up the 7th member of the team which will remain boxed for now Miasma the Spritzee

Now for the water gym. I don't have any specific aces for that type so I think I will just grind up to be a bit over her 'mons levels and hope for the best!

NOTE: I will also go hunting for an Applin but they can be tricky to find.
