With the new Kung Fu Panda movie that just came out a few days ago(or at least in Britain), it's got me wondering will this be the last one. I watched it and then, because of the story, it really did seem like it would be the last one.
I really love these movies, they are part of my childhood in away. My favourite would have to be Kung Fu Panda 3.

What I wanted to ask you is what's your favourite Kung Fu Panda film and why and if you've seen the new one, do you think that's the end, or will there be another one?

I sadly have yet to see the new Kung Fu Panda, but I love the movies. They are so beautifully crafted and actually have a darker side to them than they first appear. Jack Black is an amazing actor and voice actor, and Po is perfect for him.

Personally, my favourite of the movies since I have yet to see the third one is KFP2, since it had the whole sub plot of the rest of the pandas and there was a much more disturbing side to the world. And the fact that, unlike the first movie where there wasn't really a hint at a second movie, KFP2 showed that there would be a new one.

However, without seeing the newest movie, I have to say I hope the god they don't make a fourth one. Firstly, most movies lose traction if they try to go past a trilogy, go ask Shrek and Alvin and the Chipmunks (although the third movies in both of those weren't the greatest by any respects either). If the franchise stops here and goes to maybe just sticks to a tv series, I'd be happy with that.

I'm with Sachi, I love the first two, but I have yet to see the third movie. Kung Fu Panda has the ability to be deep, but also have the humor always come up, even in the most dire of circumstances. The way it blends the action, comedy, and drama is absolutely amazing, and few other movies have done it successfully, let alone for the first movie and its sequel. I prefer the second movie over the first, simply because I like the plot better. The humor is just as good as the first one, but I just like the second one more. Just a little bit tho :P .

I've only seen the first one, and I though it had a decent concept behind it, and I enjoyed the animation and Po's character. I really don't know how the next two fair, but I doubt it'll be the last film. Dream Works seems to milk its movie franchises until it's utterly overdone (look at Shrek-- It's gone down hill with Shrek 3 and they're still planning on making a fifth movie). Even if it may seem like it's over, Dreamworks may throw out some random shit like they did with Shrek 4.

I've seen all three and my favourite is KFP2. I think they're all great movies but the second one had more... mystery and tension compared to the other two? Like in that movie you learn why he was raised by duck papa instead of other pandas.

I liked the white peacock's (what was his name?Shen?) design and he had fire cannons, dude. It's almost like watching someone bring a gun to a hand-to-hand combat. fantastic.

I haven't seen the Kung Fu Panda movies, simply because my parents never bought DVDs or took us out to the cinema >_>
I've seen the TV series though and I liked it. I don't think I'm gonna watch the movies though: I don't really feel like it and I'm not much of a movie person anyway.

I watched the third movie and love it, and I think I liked it the most. It was certainly the funniest of them all, and it had an amazing soundtrack (I mean, Hans Zimmer so tit's not surprising). If they do make a fourth film, it'll have to be even better and that's a pretty difficult feat to pull off. I do hope they will, but I'd be happy if they're not confident and they don't too. :P
