you enter what looks like a plain old woodland. you can hear tailow whistling see a few pidgey and pidove around, and you can hear other Pokémon in the aria too. after wondering around for a while, you run into a curious pair.

the first one you see is a young male eevee. he looks normal for all you can tell, save his fur's a bit short and his tail's somewhat longer than normal.

the second one you see is a bouncy female vulpix. she's running about describing things to the eevee, who you realize is blind.

the eevee sniffs the air and seems to look in your direction, he starts walking over and says "who's there?"
the vulpix prances over, "hello, who might you be? oh we're not going to hurt you. wouldn't dream of it, unless you want to fight, then i guess it's OK.......why don't you tell us about yourself?"

    Username: Banshee
    Character name: Amy
    Age: Adolescent
    Species: Absol
Description: Amy is a petite sized Absol and is slightly shorter than a male would be. She has a little pink water lilly that lays right next to her horn, given to her by her companion as a present for her latest birthday.
Special markings: She has a navy blue streak on the tuff of fur on her head.
    Accessories: A pink water-lilly
Personality/demeanor: The positive side: Unlike her companion, Amy is cheerful, optimistic, and caring. She tries her best to cheer people up when they are down and finds ways to see the brightest of things during the darkest of times. She often tries to push her friend in the right direction, not letting him dwell too much on past, negative events. In dangerous situations, Amy switches gears to being serious. The negative side: Amy tends to become stubborn when things aren't going according to plan.
    Mate: None
    Crush: Blake
    Hatch-lings: None
Short history: Amy and Blake have known one another since they were hatchlings. However their past has not been the most cheerful of them all. Having to have run from their home, the duo escaped a mass of trainers capturing their friends and relatives. As far as Amy knows, she and Blake are the only two to make it out, uncaught. She doesn't hate humans, but does express a certain amount of dislike towards them. As the two grew older, they both became stronger together, wanting to make sure they would protect one another from any danger that comes towards them. It helps that Amy can sense disasters~
    Other: Cuddly

    Username: Banshee
    Character name: Blake
    Age: Adolescent
    Species: Mightyena
Description: Blake is an average sized Mightyena. His fur is a bit more fluffier than average; this is probably because he's self conscious and keeps himself groomed.
Special markings: Has a scar over his left eye
    Accessories: None
Personality/demeanor: Blake comes off as a cold-hearted, uncaring, and pessimistic. He will sometimes comment with snarky remarks, be completely sarcastic, or simply just remain quiet while wearing a neutral expression on his face. If someone has a problem with him or with an action that had just happened, he often just shrugs it off and tells them he doesn't care. However, that's just the outer, icy layer that he keeps. Blake does have some form of a nice and caring layer underneath. With very close friends, he's protective and will do whatever it takes to make sure they remain safe. This especially goes with his friend Amy, being that they've known one another for ages and been through rough times together, he wants to make sure that she is okay in the end.
    Mate: None
Crush: Amy (but doesn't let her know that he likes her like that)
    Hatch-lings: None
Short history: Similar as Amy's, since they grew up together. However, Blake doesn't like humans at all. He has zero trust in them for what had happened to the area he lived in as a youngster.
    Other?: Cuddly

(I guess I'll post a RP post here? o3o Sorry if I did it wrong xD)

Amy and Blake had been running from a previous disaster. Due to Absol's having the ability to sense danger before hand, this feature came in handy for the duo. Good thing was, the danger didn't follow them! But they still kept running from it anyways, making sure that it wasn't going to find them once again. Or have one of its snitches follow behind!

Once they both ran out of breath, Amy and Blake walked over to the side and took a seat near a log that had fallen some time ago. The green moss was already covering most of the old bark, making it look sort of majestic. Blake was the first to speak up after a moment of breathing heavily and trying to get his energy back from the long distant run. "Never again." He mumbled as he looked over to his friend. "You just HAD to run screaming at me about this ordeal. And of course they realize you were around and they obviously chased us." He snorted as he shook himself.

Amy shook her head a bit agitatedly. "Well! We escaped, didn't we? We should be at least, thankful for that." She took a deep breath and sighed. "Next time, I'll alert you in a more. . . calm. . . manner. Maybe--" She bitterly talked back to him with a sarcastic tone included. "--I should do some teeth chattering or try to mimic a pidgy! No one ever suspects an everyday pigeon..."

"Hmph." Blake snorted as he looked away from his partner. Sometimes she aggravated him. But the feeling was mutual. There were plenty of times where he had made her annoyed. But he did let out a small chuckle as he imagined his friend trying to sound like a Pidgey. "You know, I would pay to see you try to mimic one."

She let out a small giggle. However her giggle was cut short when something moved in the area around them. Amy continued to sit there and look in the direction of the noise. Sitting there, alert! Her eyes scanned the area before them, maybe she could see whatever it was, before it made an attack?

As for Blake, he jumped into action. Ready to rumble, in case this was another enemy attacking. He didn't care if it were harmless or harmful. Whatever it was, they weren't going to get the upper hand on the both of them. His legs spread out as his back hunched and snarled at the bushes. "COME OUT YOU!" He growled loudly at the bush.

Amy hoped that whoever it was, wasn't planning to attack them. But she also hoped that if they didn't mean harm, Blake wouldn't jump out at them and start trying to rip them a new one. So she figured to calmly ask aloud, maybe her calmer tone wouldn't scare them off? "Hello? Who's there?"

just a pair of fellow wild Pokémon!~" violet poked her head out of the bush. "ooh! i've seen your kind before! both of your kinds infact!"

"oh then please do tell violet. i'd love to know who and what our new guests are." sarcasum seeped from his statement as the blind eevee pulled himself free of the entangling bush. "dern plant! why do we always have to take the hard way?"

    "come on race! that's mean..."

    "you know what i meant..."

"well ok, next time we take the path where some lost trainer's walking and get caught, is that what you want mister smarty tail?" she huffed at him, hopping over the remaining branches. "hi again you two. i was just kidding about the trainers. no humans around here for miles. we know cause we talk to those silly pidgy and pidove and tailow....and a wingle once. i think she was lost tho.."

"..." race flicked his ear in the bigger Pokémon's direction. "so who are you anyway?"

Blake was still ready to dive bomb the poor pair that emerged from the shrubbery. But he held himself at the last moment as they appeared harmless. That, and Amy had stepped on his tail, preventing him from diving at them easily. Not unless he wanted to lose some fur on his tail, it would be a good idea to remain still.

"You've seen our kind before?" Amy chimed as she scooted over to Blake's side, finally lifting her paw off his tail. She wanted to make double sure he wasn't going to do anything funny, so standing beside him, she could throw her weight into him and knock him off balance! It was a perfect plan! Her attention was then drawn to Race, who seemed to be having a hard time with the bush. "I have seen Eevees before!" Amy chimed once more. "We knew a set of Eevee triplets. They're so unique in personalities!" She laughed at the memory of them. Lucky for the Eevee siblings, they didn't live in the area Amy and Blake came from. So she was certain that they were okay. Or at least she hoped.

Blake finally managed to calm himself down. Amy seemed to be in control of the situation. And there was no need to attack anymore. So he quietly stood there and let Amy work her magic. Talking seemed to be her forte, where Blake seemed to have a tough time with keeping a decent conversation. That is, without making the other party wanting to take a stab at him and bite at his ankles. This was all probably due to his bitter tone in his voice and his negative outer layer.

"Trainers are here?" Blake got defensive over the thought. Man! He thought that he and Amy could finally find a place where humans didn't exist. But then the Vulpix said that they were just kidding about the trainers. Blake didn't really find the idea funny so he continued to stand there, a bit stiff.

"Well! That's good! You hear that? No trainers within miles!" She looked to Blake and noticed his bitter expression. She figured that it may have been because of the little joke that was said. But Amy thought it was fine and dandy. After all, not everyone has the same encounter as they did with humans. Some had a good encounter, others never seen a human before, while others didn't have a very good meeting with them. Pushing these thoughts aside, she looked back to the Vulpix and Eevee. "Aw wow. Lost? Sure sounds like us, right buddy?" Amy bumped her shoulder into the Mightyena's side.

She wanted to get more of a response from him. But all she got from Blake was a "Hmph" sound.

"Grump." Amy wrinkled her nose at her friend. "Oh!" She did a little hop, an enthusiastic hop when she was asked on who they were. "My name is Amy--" She looked to Race, wondering if he knew what they were. "I'm an Absol! And this is my friend." She looked to Blake who continued to stand there quietly. Amy waited for his response but nothing ever came. So she gave him an abrupt cough.

"I am Blake. A Mightyena. . . " His tone was dull and unamused.

"Please excuse him." Amy said to the two.

"Yeah." Blake blurted out. "I hate everyone and everyone but Amy hates me. But don't worry. Life in solitude isn't so bad. No one bothers me. . . Except her."

Amy chimed once more. "So what exactly is this place? It looks really peaceful~"

well it's a lake front!" the vulpix waved her tails in a freindly manner looking up at the two. "yeah, they were passing thru a long time ago, or was that last month?"

"you have no time perseption do you?" race sighed, flicking his ear again he gestured in the lakes direction," the lake's that way. thanks for the introductions." he stood." there's not much to tell about me but i was born wild, like you two. heard a bit of your conversation earlyer. my ears are good enough."

"so where'd you two come from anyhow?" the vulpix circled them once and took a step closer to them, "you don't smell like you're from around here."

"Oh. Well, I guess that's good. Right? At least it's not frequent. . . " Amy nodded.

"You see, Amy doesn't have good luck with humans. They think she causes their problems. So they chase her off as if she were some form of unwanted pest. Too bad she continues to follow me. . ." Blake dully said. Amy then stomped on his paw and he let out a little yipe. One of which wasn't too loud to hurt Race's ears. "Ow!"

After her little fit she looked back to the other two. "Yeah. . . We're definitely not from around here. We're actually quite a ways away from home." She looked back in the direction that she and Blake appeared from. She pointed her paw at a distant mountain that looked tiny from where they are standing now. "We're from that Mountain. Mt. Moore. It was actually a really peaceful place to live at. No one from miles walked along the paths. Unfortunately, that changed and so we fled the area." She had a bitter tone to her voice. "Not only did trainers come along, but they also started wrecking the land. Rock slides, explosions from some form of. . . stinky powder." She shook her head and turned back to the others once more.

Blake remained quiet as she told them about what had happened. At least it was her and not him explaining the situation. He'd be all sarcastic about it and would have made it sound like he really didn't care. When in fact, he was more upset about it than she was. He just didn't express it at all. So he stood there with a dull look on his face, almost as if he seemed to be unfazed by it all. "Yep." He said once she stopped talking. "Then we made it here. Hopefully her bad luck doesn't follow us."

    Amy snorted.

Blake wrinkled his nose. He should have kept his mouth clamped shut. Now he feels like he should ask a question to the new Pokémon they just met. "... So are you two from this area then?"

yup! born and rai...sed.." violet's voice trailed off looking back at race. "sorry."

"it's fine Vee, it's fine." race shook his head. "it's not like it never happens is it?" turning his head back twards the other two he continued. "i got dumped by my parents here before i hatched. vee's family took me in and cared for me. they're somewhere around here but we don't see em much, they're somewhat nomadic. i'm not good with living in big groups anyway so vee stayed with me when we left the pack."

"Oh cool!" Amy said right before Blake had bumped his shoulder into hers. She looked to him then back at Violet. If it weren't for Blake bumping her shoulder, she wouldn't have realized the sudden break of his sentence. Then the apology. Amy looked back to Race, almost wanting to ask what was wrong. But she figured to remain quiet. Amy just knew she didn't want to butt in on something they don't want to talk about.

"Dumped?" Blake blinked when Race told them.

"O-Oh. I'm sorry. . ." Amy stuttered. Shocked about Race's past. "You know--you're definitely right-about what you said earlier." She tried to keep a smile on her face. "It's-not like. . . it never happens. Because-um. . . -it-it definitely does happen."

"Yep." Blake said, a bit dully. But that didn't mean he was bored with the conversation. "I know someone who had something similar like that happen to her too. She was just a hatchling when that happened though." He pointed his head at Amy.

"Err-Y-yeah. My parents and I got separated during a terrible storm. . . I don't know if they made it but. . . I was later, taken in by someone of Blake's pack. . . " Amy really wished that she could find her parents again. But not knowing where to start looking, she felt the journey would be long and tough. As optimistic as she was, she knew that this quest could quite possibly, end in failure.

Blake saw the awkwardness coming, from this conversation. Race was affected by being abandoned and Amy was affected by an accident. So he had to do something to make the conversation, less heavy. Not ever being good at making people laugh or slightly amused, he figured to try at it. "Good ol' Molly." Blake finally laughed as he recalled the Mightyena that found Amy. "She was always finding something weird. I mean, look who she found! I think that's the weirdest thing ever."

"Oh-haha. You're sooooo funny." Amy snorted. She was amused but tried to put on an pouting face. Puffed her cheeks and wrinkled her nose.

"Yeah. You two should have seen it." He looked to Race and Violet. "Ol' Molly walked over to our Leader with Amy in her mouth. She placed Amy down on the ground and said--" He tried to mimic the old Mightyena's voice. But Blake wasn't good at doing different voices, so if they believed the voice he was doing, Molly would have sounded like a little old man. "By golly-G! You know how I find them weird stuff layin' around? Ya'll keep thinkin' I be crazy! Well this one has it all beat!! I found this lil baby Absol. Can we keep it? Can we? It's adorable! Pleaaaase?"

Amy had a look that was amused and yet offended at the same time. "She. . . really did say that."

"The leader of the pack just roared in laughter and disbelief. Until she saw Amy and then she just told Molly that she could keep. . . it." He cracked up.

"I'm not an it!" She agitatedly smacked his side with her paw.

"So that's the humorous story behind Amy. Thank you! Thank you." He bowed a couple of times.

"Yeah. That's my story." Amy chuckled a little bit. "I do hope you get to see your parents again though, Race. I'm sure if you know they're somewhere around here. You'll find them. It's only a matter of time! Right?! And-if you guys need help doing that, we would be more than happy to help!"

Blake abruptly stopped laughing. It was almost as if someone turned off the Blake's-amused-face switch. "What? We will?"

"Of course! if-that's what you guys are searching for. And even if it's not. We still wouldn't mind helping you guys~"

"Wait-what?" Blake tried getting Amy to respond to him. Didn't work.

"sorry to disapoint but "dumped" and "lost" are two very different things. if i ever found my parents i don't think i'd be very happy about it." race stood turning to leave like he almost always did.

"aww race!" violet dashed infront of him giving her best pleading voice. "don't go off all angry again!"

the eevee took a step back from her. "violet." his ears flicked back. "why not? it's not like we have any obligation to show them around."

"that's not what you running off is about." her voice was now angry she shivered a bit "what about growing up with me and the pack? weren't we enough family for you?"

"plenty." he sat looking quite normal now. "sorry vee."

"forgiven. but you can't go doing that every time some mon brings up moms and dads." she gave his sholder a little poke with her paw. she still sounded somewhat angry at him.

"fine then." he turned to the other two. "anybody hungry?"

Amy sank her head when Race corrected them both. She felt bad for the poor guy. And she wasn't sure on how to cheer him up. "Sorry. . . " Amy said a bit sheepishly. "Didn't mean to upset you. . ."

Blake on the other hand wanted to get snippy with Race. He even opened his mouth to say something but Amy quickly hushed at him. Annoyed, he looked to Amy and whispered lowly to her. "They don't need to show us around. I'm sure we can manage ourselves. We've done it several times before. And being lost and left behind, both have the similar feeling of being alone. . . Right?" Unfortunately, Blake didn't understand the feeling of being abandoned, since he always had a loving family around him.

"Be. Nice." Amy had a firm tone in her voice as she whispered back; she ignored what Blake had said. Now wasn't the time to argue. Amy understood that Race was still upset over what had happened and bringing up family seems to trigger it. Egging him on, wasn't going to solve anything or make anyone feel better. So it was best to just end the discussion as quickly as possible and not bring it up again. "Stop being thick-headed."

"Hmph. . ." The Mightyena rolled his eyes with an attitude and looked away from all of them. Sadly, he wasn't as sympathetic as Amy was. And it showed quite often. Although in truth, he was more sympathetic than he used to be.

Amy saw the attitude and only shook her head. "Mightyenas. So stubborn." She knew Blake heard her, but she paid no mind to his reaction. The Absol returned her attention to Violet and Race. She wondered if Race was going to be okay.

Hungry? Amy thought for a moment. She wasn't very hungry, but she heard Blake's stomach growl which caused her to look at him. Blake on the other hand pretended he heard nothing. "Well-I guess we are!" Amy decided to speak up first since Blake probably wasn't. "Even Blake's stomach is saying it wants food." She let out a little giggle. However, Blake's reaction was non-existent as he stood there looking annoyed still.

Amy then continued. "Um-do you know where the best places are to eat?!"

"I bet this means I am going to be stuck eating berries. . . again. . ." Blake mumbled lowly to himself. That was the one downside of being carnivorous. He hated the taste of berries and fruit. But being stuck with Amy, who seems to have a love for that kind of food; he was often stuck eating that stuff along with her. She often threw a small fit if she saw him eating a dead Pidgey or something in front of her. So if he had to go hunting, he had to eat by himself which proved to be lonesome.

Amy looked to him, waiting for him to continue. Blake looked back to her. "I'll go by myself. You guys have fun." He wasn't going to give in to eating berries this time. "Don't worry about finding me, I'll find you." Blake started off in the opposite direction of where they were going to go. Just so they didn't get to watch him hunt.

Amy sighed at Blake. She knew you can't change a carnivore to a herbivore. Without saying much else, she walked over to Violet and Race. "Sorry about him. Um-So where to?!"

However, she has no problem telling brutes like Axel off at any time. She often uses sweet scent to keep enemies or unwanted suiters away.

Up in the trees Two small Opossum-like Pokémon were hoping from branch to branch. The male, was gray with goggles and carried a stick with it's tail, and the Female was brown with a flower in her hair, and her tail was holding a bigger flower, which had a strong but pleasant scent. They continued to leap from one branch to the next in a hurry, as if they were being pursued.

Far Behind them, A bigger Pokémon, the same species, was following them. He had a a scar on his face, and a mean look on his face. He started to close in on them slowly, The female looked back a bit.

"Sparkster! He's getting closer...!" She began to pant, tired from all the running.
"Sherry..! Don't look back just keep going!" Said the male.

But Sherry was too tired.. in fact they both were, and they were slowing down because of it. Even worse, the Sherry was not as good a jumper as Sparkster. Suddenly, she had almost missed a branch completely and was now barely hanging on by her front paws.

"AAH! Sparkster! Help me!" She cried
"Sherry!" Sparkster had turned around to see Sherry hanging by the end of the branch. "I'm coming!"

Sparkster climbed down to the end of the branch let go of his stick and used his tail to reach for Sherry. He had managed to get his tail around her and swing her to a thicker part of branch, just before it snapped, causeing Sparkster himself to fall down to the ground below.

    "Sparkster!!" Sherry cried.

Sparkster continued to fall until he hit something. It wasn't the ground though, He had landed on top of a Mightyena, and THEN hit the ground after. Sparkster shook his head as he tried to get his baring before looking up at the Mightyena. "Whoa boy...."

"Sparkster! Sparkster are you okay!?" Sherry cried.
"I'm fine! But I have a little company it seems..." As he backed up, trying to reach the tree without sudden movements.

Blake was walking all by his lonesome, leaving Amy behind with the other two. He was certain that if something happened, Amy would be able to stay safe. She had a knack for that. He could remember several times where she had pulled him out of trouble and saved him. Of course, he saved her plenty of times, but not anywhere near as many as she to him.

He paused for a moment as he realized this. "You know. . . If I were a female and a princess, I swear I'd be the damsel in distress or something. Like in those cheesy kid stories." The utter thought made him shiver and he shook his head. Trying to keep his mind focused on finding food. He was NOT going to eat berries today!

Something moved and it caught his eye. It was a Sentret. Not exactly something he enjoyed for lunch, but it was definitely better than devouring a Jigglypuff or Weedle. He crouched low to the ground and crept forward. His breathing steady and ears pinned back. Focus, creep closer, then strike! Blake wasn't a pro-hunter, but he was pretty good! After all, the lead hunter of his pack taught him a lot of which she knew. Blake had much to learn still but he wasn't any rookie hunter, that's for sure. As for the Sentret, it didn't know of his existence.

This was going to be easy lunch for him! He was certain of it!

Then something rustled in the trees above them. He and the Sentret looked upwards, trying to figure out what was causing the commotion. Without hesitation, the Sentret took off, scared of whatever it was in the trees. Blake looked back as he witnessed the Sentret taking off. He growled through his teeth, frustrated. "Dang it!" He made a motion of going after it but then. . . . . .

    BOOP!

Something had smacked against his back and fell onto the ground. Blake quickly stopped and turned around, glaring down at the small creature that used him as a landing pad. It was out of bad habit to snarl at anything that spooked him. Teeth showing and ears pinned, his eyes studied the scared Pokémon. This is when Blake realized that it was a Pokémon he had never seen before. Too small to be a good lunch.

As Sherry cried to her friend, asking if he was okay, Blake looked upwards once more. "Ugh. Look what you made me do!" He then ignored Sparkster's friend and glared back at him. "Now I'm mad. . . You made me lose my lunch." He paused for a moment before he continued. "If I were starving to death, I would eat you instead. Lucky for you, I'm not."

There was an urge to ask Sparkster about 'why the rush' but Blake was more concerned about what he was going to eat. He made a move to walk away from him but stopped for another brief moment. The question was irresistible. He just had to ask.

"Where are you off to in such a hurry?" His tone was a bit sharp and snarky.

"I'm sorry We interrupted your *gulp* hunt..." Sparkster said as he started to explain "We were being pursued ourselves by another Pokémon named Axel.. He's a bit bigger than I am... I don't really know why, but he's always attacking me and Sherry, so we ran away from him. Then Sherry missed a branch and almost fell, but I managed to get her to safety and well.. you know..."

The Oposquire rubbed his head where he had most likely bumped heads with Blake, then looked up to his friend, who was still in the tree. "Sherry, I beleive it's safe now. He's hungry, but I don't think he'll eat us."

Then the female climbed down and looked over Sparkster, trying to make sure he wasn't hurt too bad.

"Oh Sparkster! I'm so sorry! You sure you aren't hurt?" Sherry asked frantically.
"I'm fine Sherry, really! I just got a bump on the head, no big deal."

Then there was another rustle in the branches, Sparkster and Sherry looked up, seeing what appeared to be a bigger, and shinier version of Sparkster, but his coat was Black and pale pink, and there was a scar on one cheek. The Shiny Oposquire glared down at Sparkster, and then used his tail to rip out a fresh switch from the branch he stood on. Sparkster however was still unarmed as he dropped his stick a while ago in order to help Sherry earlier.

"That's him! Axel!" Sherry said. Sparkster got in front of her, getting on all fours as if he was ready to fight if need be. "Sparkster? what are you doing? You don't stand a chance without a weapon."
"I beat him before.. I can do it again!" Sparkster said.

Axel jumped down from the tree and sneered at Sparkster, he stood on his hind legs to make himself look even bigger than he already was compared to the smaller Sparkster.

"So you finally stopped running coward!" Axel said. "I demand a rematch!"
"Rematch!? What for?" Sparkster replied. "There IS no reason for us to fight in the first place!"
"You can fool yourself into thinking that.. but You and I both know full well your last victory was a fluke! and I will take what is rightfully MINE!"
"Stop it Axel!" Sherry yelled, stepping between the two males. "This is foolishness!"

"You be quiet, Sherry!" Axel yelled before planting his weapon in the ground, and readied his tail to slap her out of the way. "Out of the way!"
"Eep!" Sherry covered her face as Axel was about to strike her, but Sparkster blocked the hit with his Tail. "S-Sparkster!"
"Don't you dare... Touch her...!" Sparkster said, just before scratching at Axel to get him to back off. Axel did. "You want that rematch, then fine! I'll take you on and beat you once more!"
"Without a weapon, you're a fool!" Axel laughed as he pulled up his stick from the dirt "Fine then.. Engarde!"

The Two males began fighting each other, Sparkster was small, but he had the advantage of speed. Sparkster would use Quick Attack often, and Bite as well. Axel however, being bigger and a higher level could afford to take those hits, as he spent most of the battle doing Swords Dance, until he knew the time was right. Sparkster was starting to get tired from his continuous attacks. He didn't seem to know how to pace himself very well and as a result, started to slow down. Sherry knew what was coming, and she couldn't bare to watch. Axel was about to Double Hit.

    "Sparkster! Watch out!" She cried.

But it was too late, Axel had already begun to swing his armed tail at Sparkster. It hit once, slamming Sparkster into the ground, and then once more, sending him backwards towards the trunk of a nearby tree.

"Sparkster! No!" Sherry ran over to him. "Please... Please get up! Please!"

Sparkster could hear her, he was still awake, and he tried to get up, but it was indeed a struggle for him. As he managed to get up on all fours, Axel approached.

"Looks like I'm going to have to do a bit more damage for you to get the picture Sparks..." He got his teeth ready to use Crunch on Sparkster "I'll end you once and for all!"

"Axel no! You've done enough! Leave him alone... You won.." Sherry cried.
"Can't do that... He's still standing, which means he's still fighting..." Axel glared "Out of the way Sherry..!"
"No! I won't move!" Sherry growled.
"Sherry.. No.." Sparkster struggled to get on his hind legs, and moved her to the side. "I'm not giving up.. yet.. I can't... I won't!"
"As I thought... RAH!" Axel lunged at Sparkster with his mouth open wide to use crunch. "You're Mine!"

Sparkster ducked down in attempt to avoid his head being chomped on, and then

CRUNCH!! Axels teeth chomped down on Sparkster's left side, causing the little Pokémon to let out a pain filled cry, Axel showed no sign of letting go until he knew it was over. As Sparkster was struggling to get free, Axel bit down harder, causing Sparkster to bleed.

    "AAAH!!" Sparkster cringed.
"AAH! Sparkster!" Not knowing what to do, She looked to Blake. "Please! You've gotta do something! He's going to Kill him!"

Sherry's eyes were full of tears, as she hoped that dispite being a stranger, Blake would do something to help.

Blake dully listened to Sparkster when he apologized for interrupting his hunt. Then the small Pokémon explained what had happened to him and his friend. Blake didn't really seem too fazed by this. This was due to him usually being the hunter and not the hunted, it was a position he couldn't imagine himself in. "And then you used me as a landing pad. It's fine." He waved on at Sparkster with his paw.

"Nah. You two will ruin my diet." He added.

As Sherry made sure his friend was okay, Blake examined the area around them. He wanted to see if there was something else he could possibly eat. They weren't on his menu so they were safe. Sadly, he still couldn't see anything eatable and so he sighed. Maybe he should keep hunting? Leave these two behind? The thought seemed very appealing to him. Especially when he could hear his stomach grumble.

Blake went to say something when Axel made an appearance. The guy seemed very keen on fighting these two. Without a doubt, Blake figured he was either a rival or an enemy to them. So he parked himself on the ground and watched to see what was going to happen next.

It was obvious to Blake that Axel was one of those hot-headed Pokémon. Starting a battle right in front of someone else who could probably sit on him. "Oh goody. Waiting for dinner, and I get a free movie."

After a bit, the fight was getting very intense. Now Blake was wondering if he should step in. "Should I? No. It's not my fight." His mind was thinking that he should, but his body remained stationed on the ground. Blake cringed when he saw Axel use Crunch on Sparkster's side. That had to hurt.

'You've gotta do something! He's going to kill him!' Sherry pleaded to Blake. He looked back at her, he could see the worry all over her face. Blake didn't move but his mind was trying to get him to jump into action. Go! Go!

Without thinking about the next course of actions, Blake made his way over to Axel and Sparkster. "Hey!" His voice sounded rough and tough. He even tried making himself appear much bigger by roughing up his fur and snarling down at Axel. His teeth showed, appearing as bright white. "You look mighty tasty. Tough guy." Blake even let himself drool a bit.

Deep down, he's fretting over how he's drooling.

"Why don't you let me have a taste?" And then Blake snapped his jaws at Axel, trying to spook him away from Sparkster.

Axel was just about ready to finish Sparkster off with one more Crunch, when suddenly Blake came by with his teeth bared and drooling. Hearing him mention Axel looking tasty, intimitated him a bit, but it was the snapping of his maw that spooked him. Axel realized that killing his rival was not worth getting eaten himself, and figured that letting the Mightyena finish the job for him was a better idea. He ran away in a hurry, taking to the trees to escape.

Once Axel was gone, Sherry rushed to Sparkster and immediately started cuddling him. "Sparkster! Please be okay..."
Sparkster looked up at Sherry. "I'm.. gonna be fine.. Thanks to um... Whatever his name is..."
Sherry looked to Blake and did a little bow. "T-thank you for saving him.. I wish there was some way we could repay you..."
Sparkster tried to get up again, he was bleeding from the puncture wounds left by Axel's Crunch attack. "Yes.. Thank you stranger... We've yet to learn your name, but as you've probably figured.. I'm Sparkster... This is Sherry.. We're Oposquire from a forest far to the West.."

Sparkster slumped a bit, Sherry, grabbed her friend to give him support. "Sparkster you need to rest, Don't push yourself.."
Sparkster looked to Sherry with a grin. "Nothing few Oran or Sitrus Berries won't fix... and a little rest too I guess.." He said trying not to argue with her.

Sherry helped him get cover under a bush. "I'll go find some then, you stay here and rest." Sherry said as she looked to Blake. "I think we'll be okay now.. Thank you so much for helping my friend. All we have anymore is each other really..."

After Axel made his leave, Blake quickly rubbed his muzzle, free of his drool. "Blegh." He said disgustedly. He hated the thought of his drool hanging out the sides of his mouth, making him look like a slob. Blake saw a few other Mightyena do that, and it just looked grubby to him. He'd rather have a clean way of trying to scare others off.

Blake finally managed to stop worrying about his appearance and looked back at the duo that dropped down on him. Sparkster looked pretty hurt. "Blake. I'm Blake." The Mightyena said in a quick manner. "Don't need to repay me. It was just a mere action of kindness. Not really what I do often, but yeah." He shrugged. "From the far west? I haven't been that far. I come from the South, a ways away from here." He figured to tell them where he used to live too. "That would explain why I haven't seen your kind before."

He watched as Sherry tried helping her friend. The poor guy was pretty wounded! And there wasn't anyway that Blake could help. He wondered if Amy would have been able to do something about this? Nah. Maybe not. He shook his head. She wasn't good with healing at all. "Erm." He said as he tried to think of something else to do.

"Wait." He tried to stop Sherry. "Well-if you leave his side, won't that other guy come back to bother him again? It would be a perfect moment for an enemy like him, to strike. Right when the foe is weakened and helpless."

He heaved a sigh. He really wanted food right now but helping seemed to be something more important. Maybe he'll have berries today for lunch. It'd make his friend happy, that's for sure. Blake hated giving in to that. "What-if. . . " His mind was trying to sort things out at the same time he was talking. "Why don't I carry you on my back as we look around for those berries? Then that guy won't come and attack. That-is, if you wouldn't mind me carrying him around. I am a stranger after all." He huffed.

Sherry stopped as Blake made his point about Axel possibly coming back to attack again. "You're right... He would do something like that... " She then tried to think of something else she could do, but then she heard Blakes proposal to carry Sparkster around. "Well.. You did spare, and rescue him. I think we can trust you to carry him. Are you alright with that idea Sparkster?"

Sparkster crawled out from under the bush. "Well, I can't complain. Thank you Blake." He said as he approached Blake and Sherry, he sat there and waited for Blake to sit ore lay down so he could climb up. Once Blake did that, Sherry helped Sparkster get up on Blake's back.

"There, I think that'll do it." Sherry said. "Lets look for those Berries!" Sherry said as she scampers ahead a little, checking all the bushes.

Once they accepted his offer, he laid down to allow them to get on top of his back. It wasn't often that he was this kind to people~ After they were situated, he stood back up, slowly. "Alright." He said. There wasn't much for him to add on to the statement. They did trust him and that was that~

"Let's see." he said as he walked around with Sparkster on his back. Blake was unsure as to where these berries would grow, considering he wasn't from around here. He would try to sniff them out, but he hated them so much, he tried to forget what they smelled like.

Blake had followed behind Sherry and searched along with her. Pawing at the ground and moving thick bushes out of the way for her, he tried his best to help. At one point, he thought he found the berries! But they were Oren berries. Not something that would be good for someone who was wounded. He quickly brushed them away and continued searching.

"You know, back at home. These things were everywhere. But here. I can't find a single one. Always seems to be that way when you're looking for something. It's like they know you're searching for them so they hide from you." He wrinkled his nose in disgust.

Sherry ran around looking through all the bushes, searching for Sitrus Berries to help Sparkster feel better. But she too had little luck, all she could find were Oran Berries.
"It seems that way, it's hard when you're in a new area." Sherry said. "If we could just find an Oran Berry Bush, that would be all we need.."

Sherry continued to look around the bushes, but only found more Oren berries. "You'd think there'd be more edible berries than this at least.."

But then Sherry saw something in the corner of her eye, it was a Sentret running through the bushes. "Hey wait!" Sherry said as she followed the Pokémon, She rushed through the bushes until she came to a opening filled with bushes of different varieties. it looked almost as if they had been cultivated, but Sherry found what she was looking for. She pulled a large leaf from a plant on the ground and pulled it over to use as a tray. She ran over to a Sitrus Berry bush and started pulling some out of the tree, none of the other Pokémon seemed to mind. Once she had enough Sitrus berries, she grabbed a variety of berries so there was enough for all three of them, that is if Blake didn't mind eating berries. She pulled the berries back over to Blake and Sparkster.

"This should be more than enough." Sherry said as she picked up a few Sitrus Berries and hopped on Blake's back to give them to Sparkster. "Here, eat these."
"Thanks Sherry." Sparkster took the berries and ate them. seconds later, Sparkster was already feeling a lot better. "Alright. That's more like it!"

Sparkster hopped down from Blake's back. "Thank you for the lift Blake, you're more than welcome to join us."

Sherry and Sparkster both sat by the berries, leaving plenty of room for Blake to join in if he wished.

Blake searched high and low, trying to find some berries for them to eat. Nothing seemed to pop out for him. It also didn't help that he was now starving. His stomach was angrily rumbling, demanding for food. But he had to keep looking. Just had to. If he kept thinking about food, he would go mad!

Lucky for the Sentret, Blake didn't see it run through the bushes. If he did, he probably would have chased after it, with poor Sparkster on his back. As Sherry found some berries, Blake was busily looking under some other shrubbery. More sticks, leaves, and dirt. Nothing eatable there.

"Huh? Oh-no problem." He heard Sherry come out talking about something being more than enough. He looked in her direction and found her carrying a leaf with some berries on them. It was a pleasant sight to see. So he trotted over and allowed her to hop onto his back. After Sparkster got better, he watched them both hop down from his back.

"Uh. . ." He debated on this. Did he really want to eat berries again? Or did he want to continue hunting? As his mind wandered between his choices, his stomach grumbled an answer for him. He sighed. "I guess I'll have some. Thanks." He really didn't want that stuff but his stomach, at this point, didn't care what he ate. As long as he ate something.

Slowly Blake walked over to them and sat down. The berries right now, were beginning to look tasty. He heaved another sigh and took a bite out of a berry. Nope. Still didn't like the taste of them. But it was something! Besides, now he wouldn't have to find a lake or river to wash his face!

He tried to think of something to talk about. But the only thing that came from him was this; "I wonder what my friend is up to."
