Lake front Wilds. (a pokemon rp.)

"Ah." Amy said a bit distantly when Sparkster mentioned wanting to settle down. She did too! Somewhere in the mountains or something. She loved being up high like that. Everything could be seen for miles when one stands on a mountain. She loved that idea of a perfect scenery. She slowly looked to Blake and wondered what he wanted.

"Huh? Oh." She heard Sparkster mention that they wanted to help find her family too. She sunk her head and rested her head on her paws once again. "Thanks guys." Amy smiled at them. "Sounds a little like Blake actually. He's always trying to fight harder and be stronger. Not sure what his goal is though. He won't tell me." She laughed a little bit.

Then before she knew it. She was yawning herself and wanting to go to sleep. "Night you guys." Slowly her head tilted to the side, burying her face into Blake's side. And fell asleep.

 

"That was one heck of a fight, I hope the forest is still intact." Snivy kidded and chuckled. The forest was a total mess, it was even messier than before, the battle caused some branches to snap, leaves scattered across the area, twigs here and there. It was total chaos. But who are they to clean it up? Forests are meant to be like that... for these two, that is.

"You two are great, really. I look forward to have a friendly battle with you guys." Sir Vine smiled at Blake and Sparkster who just had battled. "But you guys need to rest, you're all beat up. We can settle here for the night." He said.

Snivy walked up to the pit Sherry and Sparkster made and was quite impressed, they were naturals. "Nice job, I never thought of doing that." She complimented to two. Sparkster was inviting the two snakes to join and make themselves comfortable but Snivy nicely declined. "Thanks, but I like sleeping in the trees. Really, I appreciate your hospitality."

"I'm her bodyguard so wherever she sleeps, I sleep there." Sir Vine stated. "But like she said, we really appreciate it." The two snakes were not fond of sleeping in low ground and in the open, they prefer heights and hidden from sight such as trees and bushes. "So, see ya tomorrow, we're gonna hit the hay." Gnight fellas." Snivy smiled and turned away from the group that was settled in the leaves and with Sir Vine, they went on top of a tree and there, they slept.

 

As everyone was finally sleeping, Sherry found herself waking up in the middle of the night. Something seemed to be bothering her, but she didn't move from her spot, she didn't want to wake up Sparkster or the others. She was worried about Axel coming back as they slept, so she didn't want to risk falling asleep. She would glance around everytime she thought she saw even the bushes move or if the leaves made a sound. It wouldn't be until a few hours before sunrise before her eyes betrayed her and forced her to fall asleep again.

Later that morning, Sparkster had woken up. He gently pushed himself up from the bed and stretched with a long yawn. He then gave himself a quick grooming, He then grabbed his stick and walked over to the open area he and the others used to train before to practice, while he waited for the others to wake up. He tried working on different ways to combine his moves so that he could perfect them. When the others woke up, he would be seen doing flips, using his stick as a vault, and using the environment to give him an edge. Sherry woke up to the sound of Sparkster getting up. She lifted her head up slightly to watch him train, but she was still very tired.

short history: Brave was abandoned as a rufflet and left to fend for himself. With that he'd gotten into fights just to get food to survive. Which is why he ended up with a scar on his beak. He'd gotten bitten by a rattata trying to get a pecha berry. But when he'd gotten alittle older in the child stages. He was found By Tallie Giniro and raised him and as the years went by he soon evolved into a braviary.)




As the morning sun rose Brave soared on the morning winds. He stretched his wings out getting the sleep out of his body, letting out a light yawn as he searched for breakfast that morning. ~well isnt it alittle chilly this morning~ He thought to himself before he made his decline down towards the ground seeing some thing he wanted to eat and well going to get the berries he wanted to have that morning. As he pulled into a dive he furled in his wing pulling them to his body picking up speed before he'd eventually open to slow his speed so he could land.

 

The whole night, Amy and Blake had slept fairly soundly. On occasion, Blake would roll on Amy and she would wake up and push him over. Or Amy would kick Blake in the side and he would kick her back just to get even. But in all, it was a rather comfortable and peaceful night for them.

When the sun rose, Amy and Blake were still crashed, laying next to each other. Blake was curled up against Amy's side and her head was resting on his. However when Sparkster woke up and started to groom himself, Blake quickly woke up. Shooting his head up and looking around. As he did this, he knocked Amy's head off of his and made her abruptly wake up. She was annoyed and smacked him on the face with her paw.

Looking grumpily at him, she yawned in his face. "Morning. Morning. I was comfortable too." She whined.

"Ow." Blake replied to her when he rubbed the smack wound Amy had given him. "You know how hard it is to sleep near you? You are the most restless sleeper I have ever slept next to. Even worse than my brother who's paranoid to the extreme."

"Not my fault you snore." Amy grumbled back.

"I don't snore." Blake bickered.

Amy huffed and stood up, stretching herself. "Hi Sherry~ Hi Sparkster." She chimed, almost as if she had never gotten into a little argument with Blake in the first place.

Blake didn't bother getting up. He just placed his head back down and tried to fall asleep.

"Oh come on Blake! Wake up." She pawed at him, playfully. He rolled to his side, facing away from her. Offended Amy turned away, pretending to walk off. But then she dove on Blake's side. "WAKE UP!"

"AAAAH!!!! I'm UP! I'M UP!! JEEZE!!!" He flailed under her.

 

Sparkster suddenly stopped his practice when he heard Amy and Blake address him. "Oh! um.. Hi guys ^^" He said. "Nice weather today huh?" He then noticed that Sherry was still in the bed. "Sherry? You okay?"

"Hmm..?" Sherry muttered as she looked up at Sparkster. "Yeah.. I just had a little trouble sleeping."
"I see.." Sparkster said. "Hold on a second.."

Sparkster's ears began to twitch The he looked up quickly. "Uh oh... Sherry get down!" Sparkster ran up to Sherry and covered her and his fur tuffed up as he looked up at the sky again, He saw a large bird Pokémon flying down through the canopy.
"Sparkster? What's going on!?" Sherry said, suddenly wide awake.

 

"Golly you're such a grump in the morning." Amy huffed when she ruffled her fur up making it all poofy once again. She looked to Blake who stood there with an irritated daze on his face. Amy giggled. "You look funny sitting like that."

"Heh." Blake said shortly before he yawned. "It's a nice day. Kinda wish that Amy didn't tackle me to wake me. But I should be used to that by now. She does it often." He looked to the two Oposquire. "Morning."

Amy went to say something but Sparkster quickly went into defensive mode and hid Sherry. She tilted her head a bit confused. "What's going on?" She asked. But something caught her eye and she glanced up. Seeing something flying through the canopy. "Oh boy. Hopefully it doesn't see you two! Come on Blake! We'll protect them! Right?" She turned to Blake and he had fallen asleep once again. "Blaaaake." She said irritably as she just decided to ignore him. If this Pokémon was going to attack the two Oposquire, she was going to defend them herself!

So she moved over to them and stood at their side. "Alright. Don't worry you two! I've got your backs!"

 

Brave stopped then tilted his head lightly. "Im not gonna hurt you I was practicing my diving. That and getting breakfast, the pecha berries are ripe and I wanted to get a few before they were gone" Brave said as he landed no a branch looking down at the group. His scarf flowing behind him in the morning wind. "I really didnt' mean to scare you guys"

 

Sherry and Sparkster looked up at the large Eagle Pokémon and made a sigh of relief. Sparkster allowed himself to relax and Sherry stood up.

"That's alright" Sherry said. "Sparkster here is just a little protective. I'm Sherry."
"and I am Sparkster of course." Said Sparkster. "No hard feelings here, Sorry for misunderstanding, most large bird Pokémon we come across usually try to eat small Pokémon like us."

Elsewhere, Axel had woken up and was prowling the area. looking for something to eat. Berries sounding good to him, Pecha Berries to be specific. He had over heard some other Pokémon talking about a big tree that produced them. He wanted to get there first of course. Eventually he came across the Pecha Tree, and he made his way up into the branches and started grabbing what he could carry. Paying little to no attention, he did not notice that Sparkster and Sherry were nearby, though it was hard not to see the brightly colored Bird Pokémon that had just swooped down to do the same. He grabbed his berries and started to scarf them down greedily.

 

Brave looked at the couple. "I wouldn't hurt small Pokémon not unless they caused me issue first. My names Brave" He said. He looked back to preen his tail feathers only to see another Pokémon scarfing down the pecha berries. "Good morning....?" He said using his talons to grab the ones on the high branches and dropping them down to the two down below.

 

Amy relaxed herself when he introduced himself. He didn't seem like he was going to attack. Which was good. She really didn't want to get into a fight the first thing in the morning. It would have been an awful way to start the day! Getting into unnecessary battles. "Nice to meet you." She said to him. "My name is Amy. And this bum over here is my closest friend, Blake."

Blake just mumbled at her when he heard his name. Nope. He wanted more sleep and Amy's voice isn't helping him. Slowly he lifted his head and looked up at them. "Eh? oh hi." He said unenthusiastically. Sleep was a beautiful thing. And it's being disturbed!

"Don't mind Blake. He can tend to be lazy and impolite." She giggled as she moved over to Blake and sat next to him.

"Meeh, I would have joined the fight. If there was one." Blake yawned again.

"I am sure you would." Amy teased. "You were too busy counting Zs."

"Good morning. I hate waking up. There is a bunch of berries somewhere, and I want to eat something else. I'm going to try and become a Persian and eat fish." He hopped up and slowly walked over to a nearby stream, hoping that he would be somewhat good at fishing.

Amy shook her head. "This isn't going to end well. He doesn't know how to fish."

 

"I do....if you want I can teach him. Well Im a bird Pokémon and he's a cat Pokémon" Brave said.

 

Sparkster looked up at Brave and then tried to catch the Berries that were being dropped down to them. Sherry was still too tired at them moment to be that active, but they did look appetizing. Sparkster brought some of the berries over to The others. "Thank you Brave." He said as he ate his share.

Meanwhile, Axel had just finished eating his fill of the berries from the tree. Then her looked down to see some familiar faces, as well as new ones. "Well look who it is... If it isn't Sparkster and his new posse! You're more of a joke that Yesterday."

Sparkster heard Axel's voice and looked closer up at the tree. "Axel... Why don't you just back off?"
"Heh.. what are you gonna do if I don't? send your body guards after me? Don't make me laugh." Axel said mockingly as he crossed his arms and slapped his tail against the branch he stood on.
"Leave us alone Axel! I've told you before, I am not going with you!" Sherry yelled, having realized Axel was present. "You're always bullying Sparkster, and chasing us down like prey, What's you're problem?"
"Problem...? I'll tell you what my problem is." Axel growled just before jumping down from his branch, near the group. "I am clearly strong than that pipsqueak, and yet you choose to be with HIM? He has even resorted to teaming up with other Pokémon!"

Sherry was tired as it was, but now she was getting grumpy. "If was my idea to join up with these Pokémon, and they are friends! Now go away!"
"Make me!" Axel said as he leaped forwards a bit in a threatening fashion, only to be intercepted by Sparkster. The two of them stared each other down growling, waiting to see what the other would do.

 

Brave jumped the branch as it was slapped. "Hey Leave them alone" Brave said as he flapped his wings. He was ready to defend his new friends even if it meant he got hurt in the process. "What did they do to make you angry" He asked. His breast feathers puffed out lightly.

 

The two snakes were still sound asleep when the commotion started. "What the heck? It's damn too early, can a guy get some peace and quiet here?" Snivy was rudely awakened and was grumpy as ever. She normally sleeps through the morning and wakes up in a good mood but if you wake her up and disturb her beauty sleep, prepare yourselves for the beating of your lives.

"Morning already?" Sir Vine was also awakened by the voices of the others, as well as Snivy's complaining. "Morning princess, what's the problem? You look like crap." He said, noticing how angry Snivy's expression was.

Snivy jumped from the tree, completely ignoring Sir Vine. She swooshed down at the middle. "Okay, now who's responsible? You, bird face? You the one? Or is it the opossum head?" Snivy looked at the newcomers furiously, she was determined to make someone pay for her rude awakening.

"Talk about grumpy..." Sir Vine thought seeing Snivy jumping down, ignoring her. "Well, I might as follow and know what's going on..." Sir Vine followed Snivy and saw two new faces. He noticed how angry everyone's faces were, like they're going to kill each other! "Why is everyone so grumpy? Is it something I've done?" He asked as he was completely clueless to what was happening.

 

"Cat Pokémon?" Amy blinked as she looked at Brave a bit confused.

"Must be talking about you." Blake chuckled at the thought. Amy glared at Blake and huffed. "What? Last I checked, I was more dog-like compared to you. I mean-look at the size of your paws! Cats have huge paws compared to dogs."

"Don't make me hurt you." She warned. However something distracted the two of them, not only were Snivy and Sir Vine awake, but there was Axel as well.

"Speaking of cats. Look what the cat dragged in." He pointed Axel out. Blake decided to try and be humorous. Especially when everyone seemed so agitated. "Good morning Snivy. Good morning Sir Vine. I'm not grumpy--well I was. Now I'm slightly amused by what's going on."

"Who's that?" Amy asked about Axel. She never met the Opossum before.

"That would be the--uh. . . His name is Adam. He and Sparkster don't really like one another. So he picks fights with him all the time. Quite annoying actually." he purposely said Axel's name wrong, just to see if he would get angry with Blake instead. Blake felt he could handle him if the fight was brought over. Or Amy would try and be a hero and jump in.

"If you're instigating, Blake. Stop." Amy crossly said. She believed that if it isn't their fight they shouldn't really be involved with it. Or fuel the fire. She turned to Sir Vine and spoke to them with a more friendly tone. A much nicer one than she had just used for Blake. "No sweetie! Nothing you have done made people mad. Don't worry! It's just one of those days where people seem to be a bit grumpy."

 

Brave watched what went on then smiled. "Glad to see your all friends well sort of. My names Brave its nice to meet you snivy as well as you Sir vine" He said bowing his head lightly. "I was just scouting breakfast and i kind of scared your two friends here I didn't mean to but it kind of happened. " Brave expained as best he could

 

As Brave tried to intimidate Axel, he looked up at him and growled with the angriest face he could muster, which was actually pretty mean looking. "Back off Birdie! This has nothing to do with you!" Being that he was on the ground he picked up a rock he found on the ground, and used his tail to fling it at Brave. He then brought his attention to Blake.

Axel was quite annoyed about his name being said wrong. "The name is Axel you Imbecile.." Axel snarled, picking up his stick, which was bigger than Sparksters. Axel looked back to Sparkster. "So 'Goggles' You think that training with a bunch of clowns like these will help you be strong than I am? That's funny, especially since it'll never happen." He started circling Sparkster. "Or maybe you just feel like you have a dept to pay to Fluffy over there?" Axel said referring to Blake. "What else is here... A Bird of Pray that doesn't eat meat? Pathetic.."

As Axel continued to insult him and his friends, Sparkster fur started to puff our from his anger. He started to pull his goggles down over his eyes. as he spoke.

"What else... A Snivy and Servine, Admittedly, probably the only redeeming members of this team, but still wouldn't be a match for me!" Axel then looked to Amy. "And an Absol, Wow, talk about 'bad luck'!" Axel was just being cruel now, and he was enjoying it. Sparkster on the other hand was furious.

"AXEL!" He yelled, as Sherry come up to try and keep him calm.
"Sparkster!? Don't, He's doing it on purpose, he wants you to be angry..!" She pleaded.
"He can make fun of me all he wants Sherry..." Sparkster said. "But he has no right to insult our friends!"

Wanting to defend everyone's honor, Sparkster approaches Axel, with his weapon clenched tightly with his tail. Axel's fur started to stand up to, as they both got into battle position.

"Lets see if you got any better with using a weapon." Axel said challenging Sparkster.
"I was unarmed the last time we Dueled.. I won't let you with so easily this time!" Sparkster barked back.
"Sparkster, please, don't do this!" Sherry begged. "You're still hurt from the other day."
"I'm sorry Sherry.." Sparkster said as he continued to stare down Axel. "Check up on Brave okay..?"

"Good to know you have stopped being a coward Sparkster." Axel said with a grin. "Now lets get this over with so I can humiliate you in front of all of your friends."

 

Brave easily dodged the rock then glared at the one causing trouble. "I'm alright Sparkster but thank you for worrying about me. You hang back abit i'll take care of our pest problem. I do know how to hunt for food you knwo. That does include fishing, if you'd like i could show you how I hunt by using my talons on you" He said as he started flapping his wings kicking up alittle dust

 

Axel paid no attention to Brave or the others, A little dust wasn't going to bother him, and Sparkster was wearing his goggles over his eyes, so he would be fine.

"It's okay Brave, Let me take care of this for now..." Sparkster said to his new feathered friend.

The next thing they knew, The two Male Oposquire charged right at each other and the fight had begun, The way they faught was almost like some kind of a sword fight, only with sticks, and they weren't using their hands to fight with them. Sparksters moves were quick and relentless, however once again, Axel's toughness allowed him to take most of the hits without so much as a twitch. Axel's moves were also stronger than Sparkster's were. Sparkster only knew Scratch, Double Slap, Bite and Swords Dance, while Axel had Crunch, Slash, Double Hit, and Swords Dance.

Once in a while one of them would use swords dance, while circling each other. But, similar to last time, Sparkster seemed to be getting tired before Axel even broke a sweat. Sparkster was spending too much energy trying to get in the most attacks, while Axel just took the hits and retaliated or parried. Things weren't looking to good as Sparkster's previous injury was starting to get to him.

"What's the matter Sparkster? Giving up?" Axel mocked.
"No... I'm not!" Sparkster said panting.
"You might as well, I would have killed your sorry hide yesterday had Fluffy not interfered!" Axel continued on "You're no good for Sherry, as weak and pathetic as you are now!"
"Shut up Axel..!" Sparkster barked.
"Or what?" Axel replied just before tackling Sparkster and striking Sparkster up against a rock. "You think you're better than ME?"

Axel took his Sparkster's weapon in his hands/paws, and pressed it across his neck, forcing Sparkster to look at him in the eye. "You better get strong quick shrimp.. Cause I will keep coming back until one of us is dead, or I get what I want.." Axel took Sparkster by the tail using his own tail, and flung him across the area over towards the rest of the group. Sparkster hit the ground hard, and once again he was defeated. Luckily this time, Axel showed a little mercy, and he wasn't nearly as beat up as he was before.

"Next time we fight..." Axel said as he turned around. "You better be at your best.. Cause next time.. I won't hold anything back."
And just like that Axel left without another word. Sparkster had gotten up after Axel left, and he seemed a bit unhappy about the loss. Sherry ran over to him and gave him a hug.

"It's okay Sparkster.. Things will get better, I'm sure of it." Sherry said trying to cheer him up. "Are you hurt..?"
"I'll be alright... I think" Sparkster said, as he pulled up his goggles to his forehead. "Darn it.. I can't believe he beat me again.. It's like my attacks don't even phase him..."
