Lake front Wilds. (a pokemon rp.)

Brave jumped to the air and looked around for a sitris berry to help heal Sparksters wounds. When he'd found one he brought it back and placed it before him. "You alright Sparkster?"

 

Sparkster looked up to Brave, and nodded. "Yeah, physically at least. I just need to get stronger so I can beat Axel, and teach him a lesson." Sparkster took the berry and ate it up to heal his injuries. Sherry sat next to Sparkster, now that things had calmed down a little, She looked a little tired.

"I'm sorry for all the trouble everyone.. Esspecially all the things Axel said.. I let all of it get the better of me I guess.." Sparkster's ears flopped down a little and he looked over to Sherry. "I'm sorry Sherry.. I know you hate it when we fight... You okay?"

Sherry simply blushed, and tried not to look as tired. "I'm alright.. I'm just glad that Axel didn't tear you to pieces."
Sparkster nodded. "You still look tried Sherry, Why don't you rest up. I'll be alright, I can feel the Sitrus Berry working it's magic already." He was trying to be reassuring
"I think I'll each a Pecha Berry or two first." Sherry said as she took a few of the Pecha Berries Brave and thrown to the group before. "Thank you Brave for the Berries."

Sherry went back to the nest and started to eat them.

"She didn't sleep very well last night.." Sparkster explained.

 

Brave tilted his head in confusion. "how come she didn't sleep to well? Is she sick?" Brave questioned. The large bird looked to the Pokémon. "So what kind of Pokémon are you if you don't mind me asking? Ive never seen your type around before" He said lightly trying not to be rude.

 

"Sometimes she worries about Axel coming at night to attack us in our sleep.. He doesn't always fight fair, know what I mean?" Sparkster explained. "Oh! We are Oposquire from the Far West."

"How about you? Where are you from Brave?" He asked.

 

"The unova region, thats where my trainer is but im just flying around exploring. Its fun meeting new freinds, and I would be too he looks kind of vicious if you don't mind me saying" Brave said before ruffling his chest feathers in a sort of shiver. Brave started thinking of his trainer and his family as well as being at home on the farm.

He'd looked like he'd spaced out alittle that was until his stomach started growling again and that snapped him out of it. "Im hungry again"

 

Despite the intense battle starting, Amy couldn't help but giggle at the nickname Axel had given Blake. She leaned over to whisper to his ear. "Heh. Fluffy. I think it's suits you, Blake~" She teased and giggled more when he reacted with an attempt to look stoic. She could see through the mask he had. "D'aw don't get so grumpy."

"Not grumpy." He said through his teeth. His eyes were fixed on the battle which ended abruptly. Axel had won once again and departed leaving behind threats. Blake only shook his head. "Kid needs more training. . ."

Amy took a deep sigh. She wasn't sure if she wanted to get involved with this. But she also couldn't stand seeing someone get bullied so much. She knew they had to do something and that something was; "Excuse me?" She butted in on the conversation as she walked over to Sparkster and Sherry.

"Uh oh. Amy has plans. This aughta be interesting." Blake said lowly to himself. It wasn't often that Amy interrupts like that. She usually is very polite. The only times she seems to enter in a conversation abruptly like that, was when she had some sort of plan. Usually it was a pretty good plan. Blake was betting his berries that this was going to be one of those moments.

Amy took a deep breath before talking. Probably trying to sort things out in her head before continuing the conversation. Once she got what she wanted she seemed to have that sort of pride-look on her face. Standing up straight and not relaxed. She definitely had something in mind. "That battle was rather disappointing." She stopped for a moment before speaking up again. She could feel Blake giving her a rather confused look, from behind.

"Allowing the enemy to crawl under your skin makes your actions really sloppy and you become very vulnerable to their attacks. It is rather heart-breaking, as you all know, to see this happen." She had sort of a motherly tone in her voice. Not that it was on purpose, it just happens to come up when she's on to something geared towards giving a boost of some sort.

"Ammmmmyy. . . ." Blake said to her.

"I know I know." She quickly said to Blake. "Anyways!" She returned her attention to both Sherry and Sparkster. "I can see you both really care for one another and would hate to see the other lost to someone like that guy." She wasn't sure what Axel's name was. And she some how doubted that Adam was his name (due to Blake messing his name up). "You BOTH need training. Blake and I will make sure you guys can become stronger. Together!"

"What?" Blake looked to Amy as he was unwillingly invited.

"Exactly! We both had a rough time getting stronger. We had to fight against a lot of unfair foes and go through many terrible events. Growing stronger was not easy for us. And it won't be easy for you. But one thing for sure is; you cannot lose your goal. You want to be stronger for a reason and whatever reason that is, keep it. And keep it close. Don't let his words get to you, make you think you're a failure. Because you're not. At least you have something worth fighting for. Right?"

Blake just stood there looking at Amy, wondering when she is going to end her lecture. She's done it to him a couple of times and they usually helped him feel better. Especially when he has to face some of the things he has the most trouble with. She had something about her that always made things feel much better than before.

"And I want to help you reach that goal." She finally ended her lecture. "Although-I do have something to ask of you. Have either of you been paying attention to how he fights? Even small tidbits?" An open question to the two Oposquires.

 

"A Trainer huh? So you're not wild like we are." Sparkster said. "No offense, but we aren't real big fans of humans.. So Plleeeeaaase don't lead your trainer to us."

Sparkster and sherry then brought their attention to Amy. At first, Sparkster felt really bad as Amy lectured them. Sherry bad too. Especially when She herself wasn't much of a fighter to begin with.

"You're right.. I didn't know what else to do though... Axel wasn't going to stop doing what he was doing until he got into a fight.." Sparkster started to explain. "I don't know what exactly it is.. but there's always something inside that compels me to come to someone's defense. I can't stand bullies like Axel.. I want to be the one who can step in and set things straight, preferably without resorting to violence... But in the case of Axel... Violence seems to be the only way... "

Then Amy told them about how hard it was for her and Blake when they started out. In a way, Sparkster and Sherry felt that they could relate to them, at least a little bit. They knew that Amy meant well, and that She and Blake would help them both get stronger. Once they were asked about how Axel fought, Sparkster and Sherry thought about it for a moment.

"I end up watching it all the time..." Sherry started. "Axel uses stronger attacks, but despite his demeanor outside of battle.... He doesn't actually use Brute force.. He just takes all the hits and uses swords dance until he sees an opening.. It seems that way at least.."

"He's so much bigger than I am too.. and he's learned over the course of many battles to be resistant to most attacks.. Every time I attack.. Nothing phases him.. even after using swords dance... But... There was this one time... Before we were forced to leave our home.. I managed to beat him with this one move... But I don't remember how I did it.. But it's the very fight I beat him in.. and gave him that scare.. It's one of the main reasons he hates me so much..."

 

"I would never do that. You guys look comfortable where you guys are so I won't lead my trainer to you" Brave said. "Besides you guys are my freinds" He states. He looked at Sherry and Sparkster. "Would you like me to help you guys train"

 

Amy nodded when Sparkster admitted that he couldn't help himself to defend someone who needed help. She too felt that way and also strived to become stronger. It was a nice feeling. A heroic feeling. A good feeling. To be helping someone who cannot defend themselves from someone else, much stronger than they are. She could definitely see that there was a lot of good in, not only, Sparkster but Sherry too. The both of them really seem to care about one another and their friends too. They were definitely good Pokémon. And Amy wishes that she can do more to help them out with their own problems. If she couldn't help a human understand natural disasters, she at least wants to help a Pokémon to defend themselves. It was the least she could do for them.

"Unfortunately, some enemies are like that." Amy sadly said when Sparkster explained that violence always seemed to be the way to stop Axel. She knew that some enemies, would not listen to reason. And for that, the only way to get them to stop was to fight back or have an extreme 'life changing' event happen. If you kept running from them, they will still find you some how and still manage to force you into a fight.

She turned to Sherry as she explained what she sees. Amy paused for a moment, thinking about what was said by both all together. "It almost seems like he is testing you. I'm not sure if I am right though. Taking all the hits, he's either trying to see how far you will go to defend and fight back. Or maybe he's testing your strength to see how strong you are for a personal reason, could be as a battle rival or something else. There is a possibility that he is trying to learn how you fight and use your moves and actions against you. I'm no pro-fighter, but I do like to see how my enemies fight, themselves. So make sure when you battle him, you study his actions and movement. Sometimes even the smallest twitch could give away what they are doing next."

"Tough opponent." Blake said, trying to let Amy know that he was paying some attention to the whole conversation. He wanted to try and chime in so Amy's cutesy voice didn't drown them. "Size doesn't really matter all that much. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. You could even level me in a match, if you did the right moves and techniques. You just have to be clever on how you fight. Tricking is a nice technique one can learn to do. I-personally still have to master those words, but I've had a few cases where they did actually work for me. Amy too. So don't let his size intimidate you."

Something caught Amy's attention when Sparkster mentioned him doing a move that had started the whole rivalry between the two. "What move was that? If you don't mind sharing."

 

Sparkster looked to Brave and said. "Sure! The more the marrier. It would be cool to learn to fight a flying type!" Then Sparkster brought his attention back to Amy and Blake. "Testing me? Why would he do something like that?"

"We're Oposquire.. and that what the boys do." Sherry answered. "I don't know if I could ever be as strong as Sparkster... But I'll try to grow strong anyway.."

When Amy asked about the move he had used, he was having a hard time thinking of the answer.. "I.. I don't know.. I mean, I have an idea, but it's impossible for it to have been that move. At my age at least... But I remember having this strong feeling of courage and confidence when I did it.. My Stick started to glow and a aura or something in the shape of a blade formed around it.. But... I haven't been able to do it again... So it doesn't matter.."

 

Brave nodded. "I won't go easy." He said as he looked to the oposuires. "So when did you guys wanna start training cause if you want i can catch some fish if you'd like for lunch " He offered. The wind ahd picked up alittle and it was blowing the scarf around his neck.

 

"I'm not sure. I was going on with assumptions." Amy admitted. She wasn't too sure as to where she would be going with that comment. Her head sunk a little bit as she searched for possible reasons. Though nothing came to her mind. How discouraging.

Blake saved her though. "You never know. Enemies are tricky. Rival or not. If the are testing you, it could be for personal reasons. Maybe he wants to make sure you are a worthy opponent. Maybe he thinks you're actually stronger than him and he wants to beat you--and by battling it's not satisfying enough. Or something you have he wants and he wants to make sure that you are worthy of being its protector. Anything is possible. There's a million possibilities and each person has their own reason. Since we're not him, we may not ever know why he is testing you."

Amy looked to Blake with a thankful look. Sometimes even Blake can save her butt! She then let out a little snort at Sherry. Amy had to put up a little tough-girl attitude. Not being mean about it, it was just how she reacted to it. "GIRLS CAN KICK BUTT TOO!!"

Blake inched away from her. He knows sure as heck, not to mess with Amy. He could remember the past events where he and Amy got into a big battle.

She won.

"You will grow strong, Sherry! Even if you don't like fighting--and believe me, I'd rather do something else than fight. But you can become one heck of an opponent too!"

"Yeah what-she-said." He leaned over to Sherry. "Don't let her get mad."

"Blaaaake." Amy huffed. Then returned to the original conversation. "We'll get you strong, Sherry. Sparkster too! So don't you worry about it!" She chimed. "All of us will! Including Brave here--even if we just met."

Blake looked to Sparkster, now that Amy was off on her little spree. "Hm. Well, If you did it once, I am sure when the time is right, you can do it again. I'm surprised you weren't able to ask someone--or find any other Pokémon of your kind."

"Well I guess they're in a similar boat as me. I haven't seen any other Absol around here. Not for miles. I have so many questions I want to ask, but no one to turn to. . . It's almost like I'm the last Absol." She then paused and thought about what she just said. "I-I-I-hope-that's-not-true."

"It's not, Amy. Relax." Blake confirmed. Although he wasn't sure if that was true either. But he wasn't going to let Amy fret about something like that. He hated seeing her worry, she always looked so upset when she did. However, even though he had said that, Amy still managed to look upset. He heaved a sigh and walked over to her, leaning over and placing his face near hers. Blake was trying to make her laugh. She didn't. So he licked her cheek. That usually made her react.

"Ew!" She quickly grew embarrassed and wiped her cheek away furiously.

Blake looked to Brave. "Well, I personally think everyone should relax before getting into another practice battle. Pushing yourselves too hard won't end well. You'll end up tiring yourself out and make yourself even weaker than before. But-I'm not in charge of you. So if you feel that you are ready and want to battle. Then so be it. I'm not going to stop you." Blake shrugged. He loved battling but he knew not to overexert himself.

"I can fish by myself. " Blake said to Brave as he walked away from the group, once more. He was determined to eat something more than just berries.

Amy shook her head and sighed. "What am I going to do with him. . ." She returned her attention to the others. "Brave, please don't get offended by Blake's actions. He tends to come off as rude to others. But he's really really nice. . . I am sure he does appreciate the offer though~ He just likes to handle a lot of things himself. Kind of stubborn, if you will."

 

Brave chuckled at Amy. "It's alright Amy, I know it takes time for Pokémon to get to know each other. Im new and so im an outsider to your little group" Brave said. "if you want i cna go folow him" He said.

 

"I can kick butt too?" Sherry asked outwardly "I dunno.. I'll try I guess.. I'm not really sure how to be... tough..."
"You can do it Sherry." Sparkster said as he gave her a friendly nudge. "If I can, why can't you?"

Sherry smiled a little, blushing as Sparkster was being supportive "Y-yeah..."
"I think I'll take Blakes advice.. I'll rest up before we start training." Sparkster looked at Sherry. "You should probably get some rest too Sherry."
"I suppose.. I'm awake now though.." Sherry said.. "But I guess I could lay down a little too."

The two of them laid down on the bed of leaves to rest up.

 

When the battle started, Snivy lost her rage caused by her rude awakening and decided to watch from the side. "Hmmm, a battle, and it's going to be unfriendly I suppose..." Seeing that all was filled with anger and hatred towards one another, she assumed that it was going to be one heck of a battle.

"You don't say... Maybe all woke up at the wrong side of the bed, not that we're humans... Hehe." Sir Vine kidded to Amy. The battle continued and the unfamiliar Opposquire won. Sparkster was defeated.

"Damn, if I weren't such a nice gal, I'd probably could take him, no offense though." Snivy commented and looked at the downed Opposquire.

"It's getting personal, you better do something about this or it'll keep happening over and over again." Sir Vine explained to Sparkster, concerned about his current situation.

Hearing Amy shouting, Snivy reacted, "Heck yeah, Girls can kick butt too!!! And I'm one proof!"

"I can't argue with that." Sir Vine reacted to Snivy. Girls can kick butt indeed, in fact, Snivy won earlier when they had a battle, she was no pushover. She's a tough hardy b*tch. Perhaps, she could take Axel all by herself. Snivy then noticed Blake walking away and was curious, "Where's he going?"

Sir Vine then decided to introduce themselves to the flying-type. "Heya, I know I should done this earlier but there was a commotion going on so... anyway, I'm Sir Vine and that's Snivy." He smiled to Brave.

 

"Of course you can!" Then Snivy chimed in and Amy smiled brightly. "See? Snivy can also kick butt too! Same goes for me! I'm sure we can get you to be capable of protecting yourself from danger! You don't have to outwardly attack or anything. But if an enemy goes to attack you, you'll definitely make them surprised by how strong you are." Amy hopped a couple of times out of excitement.

"Don't worry about it, Brave." Amy chimed to him. "We're all strangers to you too, so it's nothing bad. We could look for berries to eat, though. You can help with that!"She felt bad that Blake didn't want Brave around, but she knew that Blake wouldn't even want her around while he hunted. Strange. Since Mightyena usually hunted together in packs. Maybe he just needed some time to think?

She could still feel the lick on her cheek that he gave her when she was freaking out earlier. Man! She wished that she could do something to do that when he's being a brat. Other than swiping at him. Something less offensive.

"Huh? Oh!" She looked to Snivy. "Blake is just hunting. He really doesn't like berries. So he's going to try and fish. Don't know how well that will go since he's never fished before. And he's kinda slow when it comes to reaction times." She almost wanted to go and help him out. But she knew that it would probably annoy him somehow. So she stayed with the rest of the group.

 

"Like she said, if I can, if she can, you also can kick butt. You just gotta have confidence and believe in yourself." Snivy supported Amy's encouragement to Sherry. "I bet, you could take Andy... Alvie... What's the bully's name again?" Snivy couldn't recall the other Opposquire's name, the one that started the commotion earlier. She then scoffed and decided that it wasn't important. "Well, whatever his name is, you can take him." She said in full support.

"Yeah, you can take 'em, if Snivy can take 'em, so can you." Sir Vine added.

Snivy then turned to Amy and listened to her answer about where Blake's going and reacted, "Fish? Isn't that going to be hard? I mean, how can he possibly do that? Go head on and bite one?" Snivy replied, and was a bit dazzled, how can someone possibly fish under such circumstances?

"Well, he's a wolf, and I think wolves can fish... can they?" Sir Vine assumed and wasn't sure about his answer.

 

While the others discussed getting stronger and finding food. Sparkster had curled up in the bed of leaves and tried to relax, and get some rest. Sherry was laying next to him as the other girls talked to her. She was wide awake now and was obviously listening. Sherry decided that since she was already wide awake, she would stay up.

"You guys go ahead, I'm going to look after Sparkster while he rests in the meantime." She said. "After you all eat, I'd like to start my training too."

 

Brave smiled lightly. "Thank you Sherry" He said picking at one of the sitiris berries with his beak. His normal diet consisted of bugs and fish but berries were a nice chance of pace.

 

(( OOC: Lol Snivy, your characters make me crack up so much xD Just had to let you know. ))

"Exactly! Snivy knows what we're talking about!" Amy chimed happily. Maybe Snivy and Amy could team up and boost Sherry's self esteem. It would be pretty cool if they were capable of doing so. "You know. I'm not really sure how he can catch a fish. He's not very coordinated and he's a bit slow when it comes to trying to catch things with his mouth. Yes, he can catch sticks and stuff like that. But Fish are much faster. Maybe I should check on him. . . "

Amy looked to Sherry and tilted her head a little. "Would you like me to find some berries for you two then? I Usually eat that kind of food, myself. So it wouldn't be a hassle."

After a brief moment, she decided to go and check up on Blake. Maybe he had caught a fish? For some reason, him eating fish was more tolerable than eating another Pokémon. It was just so weird seeing him do such a thing. But she knew that he was a carnivorous Pokémon. "Yeah. I'm going to make sure he isn't drowning in the lake or something." She ruffled her fur up for a moment before she stood up. "If anyone wants to tag along with me, come on! If not, then I'll be back soon~"

Amy waited a little bit to see if someone decided to go with her. Whether or not anyone did, Amy then took off in the direction Blake had gone.
