Lake front Wilds. (a pokemon rp.)

Brave followed then landed on the ground crouching down. "Climb on amy, i'll give you a lift if you want to that is. Your not afraid of heights are you?" He asked staying low so Amy could climb on to his back.

 

Sherry looked up at Amy. "No thank you" She said. "I'll just eat some of these Pecha Berries Brave gave us earlier." Sherry walked over to some of them, and brought an armful back over to Sparkster, and started to eat her share. She was hoping Sparkster would eat more later, but she would let him rest for now. Sherry looked up to Amy once more. "Go on ahead. We'll wait right here for you all to come back."

Sparkster could smell the sweet scent of the berries, but decided against getting up to eat any. He was a bit to sore to move as it was. His tail curled up close to his furry little body, and he almost looked like a little ball of grey fur with ears. Sherry looked over to him and tried not to giggle. He looked very cute in that possition, It made her want to play with his ears.

 

"Oh. . . Okay! I'll be back quickly then!" She said to Sherry. "You take care!"

Amy shook her head to Brave. "I'm not afraid of heights. But I'd rather just run along the ground. I think it would be much faster that way. Besides, I might be--too heavy for you to carry." She hated admitting that she was heavy. A bit self conscious she is. "But you can follow me if you want. I know his scent well enough and will be able to find him super quick."

After a few minutes of running through the woods, with Brave following behind her, she eventually wandered up to a creek. Amy stopped for a moment as she glanced around the area, looking for Blake. He shouldn't be so hard to find. "Huh, where--oh there he is!" She pointed Blake out to Brave. "Look! He's still trying to catch one, and he's all soaked!" She giggled.

"Stupid fish!" Blake was trying his hardest to grab at one. But he kept missing. He was either too slow, or he misjudged where they were. He was getting annoyed with it and was beginning to just give up and go find berries or something to eat. Blake really didn't want to resort to something like that.

"Come on Brave." She snickered as she ventured through the water, over to Blake. "Need help Blake?"

"No." He said bitterly.

"Mhm." Amy didn't really let him get to her. She knew that he was getting frustrated. She heaved a sigh. Brave can help catch some fish if he wanted to. Amy parked herself near Blake and watched the water closely. Her eyes fixed on the movement. She waited for the right moment, and. . . .

STRIKE!

First strike was a fail. But then she strikes again! The second time, she caught a fish. "Caught one~"

"What?! Already? Aw man." He huffed.

"Don't worry. I'm kind of in the mood for fish myself. So I'll catch a couple! Unless Brave beats me to it. Haha!" She laughed as she placed the fish she just caught, on a nice rock on the side. Then she walked back over to Blake. "I'll try to teach you how to fish. Okay?" She looked to Blake as he nodded to her. "Alright. This is how we fish." She then begins to try and teach him how to fish.

It was tough for Blake. He wasn't anywhere near as fast at reflexes as Amy was. And he was getting quite discouraged. Especially when she and Braviary could catch so much more than he could.

 

Brave chuckled as he went for the water swooping down and caught two fish in his talons. "Wehre do you want me to set them down...incoming whooper they swim up stream this time of day get out of the water" he said.

 

Elsewhere, Axel was walking around looking a place to be alone with his thoughts. He found a quiet place in the forest with a large tree to climb. Axel climbed up the tree found a good study branch to sit on. He looked around the canopy to see if anyone was giving him funny looks. He then reclined againster the trunk of the tree, and crossed his arms behind his head. He started to think about how he would deal with Sparkster the next time he challenged him, and what he should do about this friends in the event they try to interfere. He seemed to have a frown permanently glued on his face. He rubbed his cheek, where his scar was. He started to have a little flash back.

He remember that fateful battle perfectly. Axel and Sparkster were dueling for Sherry, or at least Axel was, The way Sparkster saw it, he was just defending her from Axel's mean behavior. The fight was a breeze for Axel, Sparkster at the time had no idea how to battle yet, and Axel had him on the ropes... So to speak. Axel was about to finish the battle, when Sherry cried out for Sparkster. That's when it happened. The young Sparkster actually did something Axel even now had not mastered. He performed Sacred Sword. Only a special few could use that move. That was how Axel got his scar, and it was a Constant reminder of his humiliation.

Axel snapped out of his trance from the flashback and he looked around. Then he thought to himself. "I'll learn that move too... and I will destroy Sparkster with it.. Then Sherry will see that I am better."

Snivy the replied to Amy "I hope he knows what he's doing, fish are sensitive to movement, maybe he can use bait to attract 'em." She suggested. She then couldn't make up her mind if she's going to follow Amy to check up on Blake, not that she cares about the Mightyena, but she wants to know what will the Mightyean do to catch fish. She then turned to Sir Vine and asked him, "What do you think? Should we follow her and check out on Blake to see if the fish doesn't caught him yet?" She chuckled a bit, completely aware that she said a mistake, Blake being caught by a fish? Is the world going topsy-turvy now?

Sir Vine burst with laughter hearing Snivy's hilarious question, he laughed so hard and dropped himself on the ground laughing. "You kill me!!! Really!!! Haahahaha!!!" Tears from laughter filled his eyes as he continued to laugh so hard.

"You go on ahead while we try to sort ourselves out." Snivy said to Amy, she felt a bit awkward but at the same time, she also laughed a bit. A fish catching a wolf? You gotta admit, that was really funny. The two then recovered from their laughter and turned to each other.

"So what now? Snivy asked.

"Well, we better follow them to make sure the fishes doesn't eat them." Sir Vine kidded and laughed once more, but in a more controllable manner. The two snaked them followed to where Amy was going and found themselves in front of a creek. They weren't carnivores, they're snakes yes but they don't often eat meat but it sounds fun trying to catch fish with your bare hands, or for Sir Vine's case, his vines.

"So wanna fish?" Sir Vine asked.

"Sure, you do the honors then." Snivy said while crossing her arms, waiting for what he's going to do. Sir Vine then caught sight of some berries and grabbed some with his vines. "Now, I got bait, so the only thing's missing is the fishing rod... or should I say, fishing vine." He slowly lowered his vines while holding some berries into the water.

"Hmmmm, interesting. You're a natural bro! How come I never seen you fish before?" Snivy's curiosity rose while she raised an eyebrow.

"Well, I fish when it's dark and nobody's awake so I can concentrate and it'll be completely quiet. But I don't eat the fish, I let it go. I fish just for fun." Sir Vine explained as his vines were in the water. Not so long after, there was a bite and Sir Vine quickly raised his vine and off the fish flew into the air. "Caught one!" He then reeled it in.

"Impressive bro, impressive." Snivy complimented while nodding.

Brave looked to see the snivy and servine starting to fish as well. "we'll ahve enough for dinner tonight maybe enough for tomorrows breakfast if were lucky!!" he said as he caught another two with his talons and brought them ashore.

"Uh, Brave! Just put the fish over here, on this rock! We can catch a few more. Or try to." She giggled at Blake still trying to catch a fish.

Blake dove into the water, nearly grabbing a fish. But he missed. Then he tried again and caught a Wooper. "Uh-Sorry."

"YO! WATCH WHERE YA FISH, BRO!!" The Wooper shouted as he flailed before he went to do a double slap to the face. Once he did, he managed to escape and swim down the stream, escaping Blake.

". . . Ow. . ." Blake said as it dawned onto him that he was slapped by a Wooper. He shook his head then grumbled. "You know, I hate fishing. Can't do it." He huffed as he slapped at the water, splashing Snivy on accident.

"You give up too easily~" Amy laughed.

"Meh. If I were a cat, it'd be easier." Blake grumbled again while he glared at the water. Man! He hated being bested out on stuff! Amy was pretty good at it and so was Sir Vine.

Amy leaned over to Snivy and motioned Braviary to come over too. "We should splash Blake back. He got you once, Snivy. Might as well splash him back!"

 

While The others were fishing, Sparkster had woken up from his little nap, and stretched out from his curled up position. He yawned and looked over to Sherry who was still sitting by him. He saw that there were still Pecha Berries. His stomach grumbled a little. "Hey Sherry. Where did everyone go?" He asked.

"They just went to join Blake to go fishing." Sherry answered as she looked over to him. "How are you feeling?"
"A little hungry." Sparkster said "Otherwise I'm alright."
"Here, Eat some of these then." Sherry said, pushing the Berries over to Sparkster. "They're the ones Brave picked earlier."
"Thanks." Sparkster said as he sat up and started eating the berries. "When they get back and get done eating we can start training."

Sherry looked to him, and smiled. "Something you might want to work on is learning some new moves. You had those same moves for a while. You'll never catch Axel By surprise if you you the same stuff over and over."
"I know, I know.." Sparkster said as he finished his food. "What about you?"
"I'll be learning from Snivy and Amy I think." Sherry replied.

 

Brave set the fish on the rock then smiled. "I heard slowpoke using their tails to catch fish why not try that?" He said as he went to catch more fish.

 

A little time had passed since the others went to get fish, and Sparkster was feeling a little antsy. He stood up and looked to Sherry.

"Um.. You know Sherry.." He started. "If you want, I could maybe teach you a few move I know, without the stick of course."
Sherry of course looked to Sparkster. "You mean like Double Slap and such?"
"Yeah, heck you might even figure out some moves on your own." Sparkster said, trying to encourage her. "We should try to do something while we wait for the others at least."
"I guess so." Sherry said. "You won't go too hard on me right?"
"Me? Of course not. We'll start with an easy one like double slap." Sparkster stood up and offered his paw to Sherry, who grabbed it gently. Sparkster then pulled Sherry up to her feet, and they walked over to an open area, and then faced one another. "Alright... There are two ways you can perform Double Slap Sherry."

Sparkster did not carry his stick over to the area, So he started by getting into a standing stance with his arms out. "If you want to use your paws, You can Swipe at your enemies, using one paw after another like this!' Sparkster demonstrates by swinging his arms in a slapping motion. "Or you can use your tail, which would be a little better since the tail is stronger." Then he demonstrated using his tail. "Now you try, see which one you feel most comfortable with."

Sherry nodded and practiced doing both styles. She seemed to like using her paws more, but the tail was also easy to use. She kept trying more and more until she was starting to get the hang of it. "How am I doing Sparkster?"
"You're doing a great job! Keep at it." Sparkster said smiling.

 

"Awwwghhh, what was that for?!" Snivy wiped her face removing water splashed in her eyes. She then heard Amy's suggestion and chuckled, "I got a better idea sis, watch this." Her vines slowly approached from behind the unsuspecting Blake, and moments later... *splash* she pushed Blake into the water. She quickly retracted her vines and whistled like she was innocent.

Sir Vine witnessed this and thought that it was funny, but he kept his laughter in. He didn't want to humiliate Blake and at the same time, don't compromise Snivy.

 

Blake paused for a moment. Despite the idea of using his tail as a fishing rod, he felt that it wouldn't be a good idea if he did it. Slowpoke seem to be numb from the head down, in his opinion. Where Blake was super sensitive about his tail. "Uh. . . I think I'll pass on that one. You can use your tail as a fishing rod if you want."

"Oh?" Amy tilted her head at Snivy. Wondering what she would do next. As she sat there watching, she saw the vines push Blake into the water. She held back her giggle. It was hilarious!

"AAAH!!" He flailed as he fell into the water. Water splashed everywhere, as he made a lot of noise falling into the water. Once he stopped flailing, he sat up and looked around. His gaze mainly directed to Amy. His fur was soaked, sticking to him like plastic wrap. The water dripped down his muzzle and fell into the moving water.

"H-Hi Blake." Amy stuttered, mainly trying to not slip out a couple of laughs.

Blake was very quiet as he stood up. Almost as if he were offended by this unfortunate event! He walked right over to Amy, still wearing a rather annoyed grin. Amy on the other hand was beginning to panic, maybe they shouldn't have pushed him into the water? Now he was really mad, more annoyed than he was when he was trying to fish. She started to regret it and feel bad now. Amy slowly looked to Snivy with a weary expression on her face.

Blake stood before the two of them and heaved a heavy and annoyed sigh. "You know what?" He said with a bitter and angered tone.

"Yes?" Amy managed to speak.

Without warning, Blake jumped at the water, splashing both Snivy and Amy at the same time. He would have pushed them both into the water, but that was a little hard for him to do. Especially since he knew that Snivy was quick on her feet and Amy probably would have pounced on him back. So splashing the two of them with a wave of water seemed like a better idea.

"H-HEY!!" Amy giggled as she was splashed. "You sneak!!"

 

While Sparkster and Sherry continued to train, they heard loud laughter and splashing from the bushes. Both of them found this distracting and decided to investigate. They peeked through the bushes and saw everyone splashing around. It sort of looked like fun, so they decided to take a little break and join in on the fun. They jumped into the water, shallow area of course, and started splashing around, trying to get everyone and each other wet.

"Hahaha!" They Laughed
"Think fast Sparkster!" Sherry said as pushed Sparkster down in the water making a splash.
"Hey!" Sparkster chuckled as he got up to push her back "Take that! haha!"
"Eep!" Sherry said as she looked over to the other girls.

 

Brave watched them play in the water and soon went to join them kicking up water with his talons. Being a bird of pray he did get wet hunting but if his wing got to wet he wouldn't be able to fly until his feathers dried.

 

Amy and Blake were busily laughing at this whole thing. Splashing the water at everyone and everywhere. It was a lot of fun! About time they can do something to relax and joke around, right? No need to be super serious quite yet. There's nothing huge coming at them, right? Maybe!

Amy prepared herself for a dive at Blake. Blake on the other hand was snickering. Lucky for him, he knew the water spot very well compared to Amy. And if he stepped back, he would fall into a really deep spot in the lake. He tried to get Amy to dive right at him. "Come on Amy! You scared of a little water?"

"No!" She huffed as she dove at Blake.

Blake skittered to the side and Amy completely missed him. The deepness of the water surprised Amy as she splashed into it. Swimming upwards, she poked her head above the surface. Her fur plastered to her face. "You meanie!"

Blake laughed hysterically at this. Amy looked so funny when she got all soaked by the water. Kind of made him think of a cat thrown into the water and is walking about, sulking. "No. Just clever~"

Amy saw Sparkster and Sherry appear. "Hey you two! Sorry we didn't grab you! We--got involved with trying to mess with Blake." She giggled. "But come on in! Join us!"

Blake snickered as he splashed at Amy. She couldn't successfully splash him back though. But she did grab at his legs and pulled him into the deep part of the river. Blake appeared above the surface and spat out a fish that he had managed to catch with his mouth.

"Good fishing skills." Amy teased.

"Ha...ha." Blake responded.

 

Sparkster and Sherry continued to splash each other playfully. Both of them were totally soaked, but they seemed to be alright with that. They even splashed at Brave once in a while. They continue enjoy themselves. Soon, Sparkster started to get brave and approached Snivy, and pulled her into the water too.

Sherry approached Snivy after "Hey Snivy, Lets show him what girl power really is!" Sherry said "Let get 'em!"
"W-whoa! What are you girls doing?" Sparkster said nervously as he stepped back.
"GET 'EM!" Sherry said as she tackled Sparkster into the water.

 

Brave laughed as he splashed them back and caught Sparkster with teh water as well. "Gottcha Sparkster" Brave said.

 

Snivy wasn't expecting for Blake to jump in the water, she was caught off guard, she was soaked from the splash and was all wet. "You trickster! I was expecting for something else to happen." She laughed. Then all of the sudden, she was pulled into the water by Sparkster. She tried to cling onto the grass but she still fell. "Ahhhhhh!!!" She screamed. *Splash* Talk about a two-hit combo, she splashed into the water.

Meanwhile, Sir Vine was still fishing with his vines. "Shhhhhhh, you're scaring the fish." He said to the others. He wanted to join them but he was busy fishing. "Oh, another bite."

"Muwahahahaha!" Snivy gave a sinister laugh as she planned to do something to Sparkster. As soon as Sherry tackled Sparkster, she grabbed him with her vines and off she raised him above the water. "Now, what should I do with him? What do you think Sherry? Shall I let go? Yes? No? Maybe?" She teased as she held the Opposquire with her vines.

 

As Sparkster was being held up by Snivy's vines he was flailing about trying to get free. "H-hey! This isn't funny!" He shouted, with a hint of laughter in his voice. "C'mon Someone help me out here!"
"Hmmm... " Sherry pondered, giggling at the idea. "Lets see if he can recover from a toss! But not too high, we don't want to hurt him."
"W-what!?" Sparkster said wide-eyed just before he would have been tossed up.

Next thing Sparkster knew, he was in the air, flipping about. He quickly got his bearings though and stabilized himself. It was then that he felt Brave's Talons grab hold of him as he was caught. Sparkster looked of to Brave.

"Phew...! Thanks Brave. How about we show the girls a thing or two?" Sparkster said as he climbed on Brave's back. "Lets see how they like being dropped!"
