    Lake Valor League FAQs
    What is the LV League?
The Lake Valor League is a special section in the forum where you can participate in by battling gym leaders and elite four members in battle to earn prizes such as a gym badge or even a spot in the league! If you manage to defeat all of the Gym Leaders and Elite Four members, you successfully earn the title as a Lake Valor League Champion! Each gym leader and elite four member have their very own thread where you can read about their theme and how to battle them.
    How Can I Participate?
To participate in the league as a challenger, you must first read the League Rules. Then once you have a thorough understanding of what is tolerated, you may submit your challenging team to Satix for review. Once he says that it is acceptable you may challenger the first gym leader by making a challenge request in their thread. You must challenge Gym Leaders in their respective order, as the order is mainly based upon their difficulty. You may challenge the Elite Four in any order.
To participate as a Gym Leader, you must have earned the position first(see how below). Once you have confirmation that you earned a gym leader spot, create a thread in the Gym Leaders subforum with your Gym title and number order. Remember, your gym must have a type theme that isn't already taken. The rules in your gym should be reasonable and fair, however, you have the final say in how things are ran in your gym, not the challenger. Remember if you are inactive, your spot is on the line.
How Do I Become A Gym Leader/Elite Four?
To become a Gym Leader, you must either be a finalist in a special league tournament, or defeat all of the current Gym Leaders and receive a special recommendation from them. There may be instances when a Gym Leader may become inactive, so even if there at 8 Gym threads in the Gym Leaders subforum, you may still have a chance at taking one of their spots.
To become an Elite Four member you must have previous experience as a Gym Leader first. Elite Four spots are earned by Gym Leaders who manage to defeat all the existing Gym Leaders or by a special Gym Leader specific tournament. As an Elite Four, you only have to accept challenges from those whom have defeated all of the current gym leaders.
Who Are the Gym Leaders and Elite Four?
They are members just like you! Each of them have their very own specific threads where you can challenge them in. You can find all of the current Gyms here and all of the current Elite Four members here.
Why Should I Participate In the League?
The LV League can be a fun and exciting experience. Not only do you get to have the thrill of battling some talented players, you also have the opportunity to hone your skills and learn more about the world of competitive Pokémon battling. Knowledge and fun are pretty nice, but if that's not enough of an incentive for you, there just happens to be special rewards to those who defeat the League members. If you defeat a Gym Leader, you get a special badge that appears on your rewards tab. If you defeat all of the Gym leaders, you get to battle the Elite Four and have even more so intense battles. For defeating all of the Elite Four members, you earn a special reward as a Lake Valor League Champion, and some bragging rights.
What Do I Do If I Have Further Questions?
Feel free to contact Satix, or any of the other Administrators or Super Moderators if you have further questions about the League. A private message would be the best way to contact if you want hands on support. If you do not happen to get a response, remember to be patient. If you do not happen to receive a reply in less than 24 hours, try contacting another staff member.
