    June 14th - Post Count Update

    Hello folks. Today I've got a bit more of an important update for you all.

    Recently, some of you may have noticed that your post count has dropped. Whether this be slightly or more significantly, we understand this is frustrating and we'd like to clarify why this is.

    Recently, we did a Post Recount. What this means is we recounted the total number of posts on the site to provide a more accurate number for the actual amount of posts on LV. Therefore, you will have lost posts that weren't actually on LV anymore, such as ones from last years Summer Scramble.

    Any posts that have been lost were posts that were no longer in circulation on LV. They couldn't be found, because they were deleted a long while ago. We know post count is important to many of you, but your current post count numbers are your TRUE amount of posts, not including deleted content.

    We don't usually delete content, so you won't have to worry about your counts changing much from now on. On the bright side, you know that now your post count is 100% accurate and an actual measure of how much you've posted. That is much better than a false number.

    As further clarification, you haven't lost any PokéPoints, any medals earned - the only thing that has changed is your post number, and that number was not accurate. We hope you'll understand and not feel too discouraged by this.

    As an apology to all users, we've handed out a Free Username Change item to every user. This item usually costs 300 PokéPoints, so consider it a little treat from us for the inconvenience. You can access that by clicking here and use it whenever you want.

    If you didn't receive this item, please leave a post in the Support Hub. You will need to display proof. (please note if you signed up on or after June 14th 2018, you are not eligible to claim this. sorry.)

    Got a few updates for your lovely people.
    • The Unova ValorDex is now live!
    • Added a breadcrumb (navigation bar) to the bottom of every thread page.
    • Added following buttons to scroll up or down on the page.
    • Major bug fixes on Safari for iOs for the theme Valcadia
    • Buddy Interaction Messages Suggestions Thread created.
    • Posts and threads made in the ValorDex section no longer appear under 'New Threads' in our sidebar.
    • Improvements to the ValorDex.

    • Introduced the updated and new How To Use Lake Valor Guide. Compact, easy to use on mobile, the perfect guide for new and old users alike!
    • Significant improvements to our help articles, including how they're designed and how images are displayed
    • A new index for all of our Help Articles.
    • Improvements to the Professor Azelf tutorial to help assist new users.

    • A new 'subforum' has been added to the Intro Lobby - it links to our guide.
    • Made several minor design improvements to Valcadia.
    • New postbit design has rolled out on Palette Town & Lake Valor (the new ones).
    • Speaking of those two new themes, all donators and VIP users can now beta test them!
    • Let's Go Pikachu & Let's Go Eevee section renamed to Switch Pokémon Games, thanks @Sheep for the suggestion.
    • A new prefix for Let's Go has been added to that section.

    • Introduced the new Postbit design to Valcadia and Valcadia (Day).
    • Your top medals for each category now appear in your Postbit. Your top medal is whichever gives the most points, but you can click on them to see all of your medals!
    Don't forget, our egg festival ends on the 9th and our older themes will also be removed at that date.

    • Our staff team page has been updated with all the changes, thanks to @LostSpirit for bringing it to our attention.
    • Our old themes have retired as planned. Learn more here.
    • Palette Town & Lake Valor (new versions) are now live for all users! You can change your theme by scrolling to the very bottom of the page and clicking 'Valcadia' in the sites footer.
    • We are planning on remaking Team Rainbow Rocket's Hideout.
    • Legendary Egg Festival event is now over, but the legendary eggs will stick around, of course!

    Several of you have been wondering why you haven't been receiving Pokepoint rewards from events when they were given out via the adjust moderation tool, which doesn't notify when your Pokepoints have been edited. (Donations notify you because it transfers Pokepoints from one account to another).

    Thanks to Achromatic, you will now be notified when your Pokepoints are rewarded from the system! This is what it will display like.

    • A medal for catching 20 legendary Pokémon which you can request.
    • Best Friends medal removed as our friends system has changed to a Following system.
    • Automatic medals for posting now reflect your train level progress rather than just how much you've posted.
