Greeting, and welcome to another one of my threads where I talk about this terrible yet great game. But Instead of talking about my thoughts on this game, I wanted to try a little something different. I reinstalled the game on steam, and downloaded some mods and bought all of the DLCs, and let me tell you... it's an awful (But very fun) experience. So I decided, why not share my suffering and make others laugh in my misery? Might as well drag others in while I'm at it!

Just in case you don't get where I'm going, I'm making a separate save file, where I bring you guys (The users of LV.) into the estate and go on adventure while getting stressed out with the risk of death right around the corner.

Basically, I'm just gonna assign each of your usernames (or nicknames, if you wish) to a hero of your choice, then I'll play as them and send them to their demise the dungeons.

If you wish to join the estate as an adventure, just say you wish to join, and make a small spoiler of information. The following spoiler, being:
Name of hero: (Nick name, or your username)
Hero class: (The class list will be somewhere in this post below)
aaaaand.... i think that's it for now.
Feel free to make multiple different characters if you wish, since I will definitely have a wide variety of characters.

Here's a list of the classes that will be available for use.
Abomination: A man corrupt with eldritch blood in his veins.

Antiquarian: A woman obsessed with collecting antiques.

Bounty Hunter: A man with a grudge.

Crusader: A holy knight. Deus Vult

Flagellant: A strong man obsessed with self inflicting wounds.

Grave Robber: A woman who can kick ass.

Hellion: A famale barbarian who's always angry.

Highway man: A rogue with a knife and a gun.

Houndmaster: A man and his best friend mutt.

Jester: A funny man who plays ballads and cuts people.

Lepper: A strong man with a serious illness.

Man at arms: A war veteran who refuses to die.

Musketeer: A female with a strong musket.

Occultist: A man who dabbles with ancient evil.

Plague doctor: A female doctor who likes to fix people and spread blight.

Vestal: A female preist skilled in healing and smiting her foes.

Thorn: A blind female fencer who's adept at riposting attacks.

Sisters: A woman who's possessed by two twin sisters fighting over control.

Wraith: A man who uses a ball and chain mixed with a small scythe to kill.

Seraph: A burnt woman who's blessed by a literal angel.

Lamia: A snake woman who can sing and transform into a gorgon.

Thrall: A hulking man who likes to punch things until they stop moving.

Succubus: A demon blending in as a preist, until the time is right.

Darkwaith: A demon knight who drains enemies life force.

Cataphract: A man and his ghost horse.

Duchess: A demonioc female out for revenge. She can turn into a grotesque monster.

The Wretch: A man who poisons himself, then passes it onto his enemies. (Has pet rats)

The Keeper: An innocent woman who's now possessed by some sort of demon.

The Bloat: A bloated and infested man who uses his disease as a weapon.

The Apostate: A zealous individual who was casted out by the church.

Alchemist: A woman who's experimented on herself.

The Clobber: A mushroom person who flexes their muscles and punches enemies.

The rightful heiress: A girl with equipped with a gun, knowledge and alcohol.

The rightful heir: A boy equipped with a letter opener, knowledge and alcohol.

Acolyte of the sun: A female capable of blessing her allies.

Voivode: A vampire dude. Creppy man.

Bogatyr: A viking who likes the cold, and slashing his enemies.

If you want more detailed info on the classes, you should look them up yourself. Writing detailed info here would take forever.

For those of you who already know how this game works, I will do the first two missions, then the LV Dungeon madness will truly begin. Once enough people have posted their characters, i will be sending them out on adventures.

As to not over do things. I will be posting one adventure per day. That way, others might be able to post their characters, and I don't have to right a a two page essay every day.

If this somehow interests you guys, do tell others so that I can add them in and send them to madness. This thread will be open for a few days, then I'll start adventuring when we have enough characters.

Edit: It seems like I've accidentally forgot to place two of these images correctly. I'll try doing better tomorrow.

Note before I start the adventure, In this post you will see use the term "Stress damage". For those of you who don't know about darkest dungeon, stress is a different form of damage that heroes can take. All heroes have two health bars, one for HP and one for Mental health. While normal HP can be easily healed, stress damage works in a different way. While there are some heroes who can heal stress, there aren't as many, nor are they as potent as regular healers. A stressed out hero can still fight and go on adventures, they can receive serous penalties for being too stressed. Once stress reaches 100% they have a high chance or receiving an "affliction", which is a very negative debuff (While there is a chance for your character to receive a buff rather than a debuff, it is a smaller chance, and I wouldn't gamble your lives on it). There are a variety of "afflictions", but they all cause the heroes to do unpredictable actions (Like skip their turns, attack allies, refuse being healed, move around of their own accord, ruining the teams positioning, and other bad stuff). And if your heroes reach 200% stress, they can straight up die to heart attacks.

Welp, that's all for now. Hope you enjoy reading this.

Week 3 beginning (For some of you who don't know how this game works, every time you send your adventurers into a quest. it takes up an in game week. The first two weeks are scripted and are basically a tutorial):

Due to finally completing the tutorial, I was finally able to start recruiting some new heroes. The stage coach had 4 heroes for me to pick from: a vestal, a darkwraith, a heiress, and a bogatyr. Seeing as how this game is only beginning I've recruited all four of them into the roster.

As of now, We have 5 regular heroes, and 3 special heroes (LV Users).
    Darkest Dungeon 4_28_2020 8_30_22 AM.png

But seeing as how the estate is still runned down and some building are still out of commission, we're forced to set some adventurers on a quest, and what other way to start this LV madness adventure than to send out a special hero already!

The team composition will consist of BZ, and a bogatyr in the front lines, and Riddles and a vestal in the back lines.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_28_2020 8_49_56 AM.png

For our first quest, we shall do a scouting mission in the ruins (y'all must explore 90% of all rooms in the dungeon). Lets hope I don't kill you guys in the first ever quest.

    Darkest Dungeon 4_28_2020 8_54_10 AM.png
I'll try not to bore you guys with small and dumb details (Like narrating when someone finds a torch or a small chest. I will however, narrate whenever someone hits a trap or gets seriously injured.

The adventure starts with all four heroes just sitting in an empty room. They must explore most of the rooms in the ruins, and with only one direction they're able to take, they head up north. They walk across a mostly empty hallway, until they finally reach the door to the first room.

Upon walking inside, they come across their first, enemies. Having a bright torch light, they managed to get a surprise round on the enemy.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_28_2020 8_56_05 AM.png
The battle itself was uneventful. They managed to defeat the two skeletons without taking any hits.
(Probably the easiest fight I'm ever going to see in my life.)

Once the fight was over BZ opened the unlocked chest and found some gold for the party.

Seeing nothing else to do in the room, our adventurers decide to make their way to the next room. While walking through the hallway they've come across their first road block. A big pile of rubble blocked their only path forward. They must remove it in order to get across. Luckily for them, the party brought a few shovels with them, and they can remove the blockade without much effort.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_28_2020 9_07_03 AM.png

Once the blockade was removed the were able to move forward... straight into an enemy ambush.

We couldn't get a surprise round this time around, but at least our heroes didn't get surprised either. The acolyte was definitely the biggest threat here. She was capable of causing our heroes to take stress damage, and I would have no way of healing those kinds of wounds for now. Focusing my target towards the acolyte, we managed to quickly kill her off, and then defeated the skeletons. BZ took some minor damages, but nothing that couldn't be fixed later. Finally they saw a large door that lead to the next room.

Room 2 was devoid of any life and treasure. An empty room.
Being disappointed by the last room, they realized that the path began to split, between north, and east. Making a random gambit, our heroes decided to head east. For a long hallway, it was surprisingly uneventful. Riddles found a sack with some gold in it, but no traps or ambushes. it didn't take them long to find the next door, and they entered the room.

Another room battle was ahead. This time they came across a bone archer. Deciding that the archer opposed more of a threat then the slashers, Riddles and the vestal began targeting them. For some reason though, the archer kept dodging their attacks, and seemed to only target Riddles (Must have called him a doo doo head or something, dude. C'mon, be nicer to the bones). While the fight lasted a few rounds longer than necessary, they managed to defeat the enemies, and snatch some more loot.

On the room, there was a holy fountain, capable of healing wounds, and relive some stress. Seeing as how BZ was the most stressed in the party, I decided to let him drink from it. deciding to increase the waters potency, BZ poured some holy water into the fountain to increase the ammount of benefit he would receive.

Continuing on, they left the room, and began making their way to the next one. They took one step out of the room, and the vestal immediately stood on a trap, taking some serious stress damage. Luckily for them, the trap was the only hazard for them in the hallway, finding door at the end of the hallway, the proceeded into the next room.

Another empty room. Nothing to write home about.

Exiting the room into the next hallway, they immediately came across a backpack. BZ, being ahead of the team, decided to be the one to open it. Inside, he found some food and gold. Putting it all away, the continue moving forward, towards the door at the end of the hallway.

Another empty room (Why is there so many? I'm usually being bombarded by hordes of enemies I swear).
Only one more hallway to go. if they reach the next room they would complete their quest, and would be able to return to the hamlet with a smile on their faces. As they walked through the last hallway, it seems like Riddles has accidentally stepped on a trap, luckily for him though, he was able to dodge in time, suffering no damage. That trap wasn't the only obstacle it seemed, as they come across yet another blockade, blocking their way to the last room. On the bright side, they still have another shovel available. Now that all obstacles were in the way, they could finally reach the door to the final room.

    Darkest Dungeon 4_28_2020 9_50_48 AM.png
How fitting one final battle, for the last room. Sadly for the party, it seems like the enemies have their own balanced team comp. in my opinion the biggest threat here was the Bone Courier (The one with robes and a chalice.), due to amounts of stress damage he can deal to the team. As the fight begins, Riddles throws some blight grenades at the Bone Courier and archer, blighting them both for some decent DOT(damage over time) damage. As the Courier takes his turn he decides to attack the vestal for even more stress. She is currently 66% stressed out but she'll be fine. A few turns roll by, and the Courier is now dead. The blight that Riddles had placed on the archer was abbout to kill him, but not before the archer manages to land a critical hit on the bogatyr, causing the team to receive a small portion of stress damage. BZ is able to damage their front line a bit, but he is momentarily stopped by the shield user as he stuns BZ and pushes him back in the line a bit. Once the back line was defeated, it didn't take long to defeat the rest of the enemies.

Once the fight was over, they looted their corpses and the quest was finally complete. Instead of returning home immediately, they decided to stay for one more minute to open a chest that was in the final room. Once opened, they looted it, than left the ruins in order to return to the estate.

LOOT: Darkest Dungeon 4_28_2020 10_18_21 AM.png All the loot our adventurers have collected in the ruins.

Quirks are something that every heroes gets at the end of almost every quest. They can either be beneficial, or detrimental. This is something that can't be avoided, but negative quirks can be removes in town... for a cost of course. I just gotta click on the two faced mask, and you'll receive your quirks (No they arent my hero academia quirks, they wont get super powers... i think). And the quirks that you have received will be...
    Darkest Dungeon 4_28_2020 10_18_34 AM.png
Note: All positive quirks are yellow, while negative ones are red.

This marks the end of week 3 of the LV Madness estates.

Wow, this took me about 2 hours to both write and play (I'm writing this as I'm playing, since I don't trust my memory). It was honestly Kind of fun writing all of this. And it took me so long just for a short mission (How long will it take me to do a long mission I wonder... let's leave that for later).

Remember, feel free to make more heroes for me to make, you aren't limited to only one. I'll have more heroes to potentially kill, and y'all would probably see your heroes die.

I also feel bad for @Jeydis who most likely posted his character just as I was playing the first adventure. Oh well, the'res always tomorrow.

    Week 4 Beginning:
    Darkest Dungeon 4_29_2020 8_34_25 AM.png
Hear ye, Hear ye! (This is an event that happens at the start of every week. It's basically just the news. Sometimes they're helpfull, and other times they some random stuff.): Looks like this week starts off the crimson court DLC. This event can cause a lot of chaos, if not dealt with properly.

Yesterday, our heroes have made their way back from the ruins, and have brought back some gold with very few casualties. To start off the day, I've decided to look at the stage coach, to see if we can find any more "Special heroes". Sadly, There were no Special hero candidates, this week around. So instead, I hired 4 other heroes: A grave robber, a keeper, a wretch, and a leper.

Due to the amount of stress that the vestal has built up, due to her last adventure, I've decided to send her to the Abbey to pray for stress relief. Once that was done with, I sent Zephnir (The darkwraith) to the guild to learn more... useful skills (I'm not taking that back, Sethal). After teaching him better skills, I've decided that I was done with dealing with the heroes and began planning the next expedition.

I wanted to bring Zephnir on an adventure, but then I realized that he refuses to be in a party with a Priest (Damnit Sethal, don't bully the priests). And without a proper healer in the party, I don't really want to risk loosing some adventurers... So Instead, I decided to create a very strange pary, where every one has a way to heal themselves in one way or another. This party composition is very risky, but I feel like taking some risks right about now (Blame Sethal for not wanting to party up with priests).

The party will consist of a leper, Zephir, a wretch, and a keeper. This is a very off party, but i'll try to make it work.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_29_2020 9_04_14 AM.png

I've decided to send the party to the wealds (basically, the corrupt forest) on a skirmish quest (clear 100% of the room battles). They've chosen their previsions, and began making their way to the weald.

    Darkest Dungeon 4_29_2020 9_10_23 AM.png

As always our heroes will begin in an empty room. The only way to begin is to look at the map.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_29_2020 9_12_18 AM.png
Luckily for us, we managed to get a free scout (a scout is when the game decides to uncover some of the map for you). To our right, there's nothing but an empty room, and a blockade (the blue book looking thing. it uses up a shovel to get through), so there's no point in going there. The right on the other hand, has a room battle, and connects to the other rooms. So the obvious choice is to go right, and see what happens.

While walking down the hallway, Zephnir looted some crates, before walking into a hallway battle. Thanks to the scout though, we were able to know they were coming and we avoided being surprised, and surprised them instead. (Every battle has a chance of surprising your party, but if you scout an enemy in the map, your heroes will know they're coming and will not be surprised)
    Darkest Dungeon 4_29_2020 9_19_28 AM.png

Not a bad fight, gotta focus on the human acolyte in the back, and everything should be fine. Going first Zephnir decides to trade a bit of his HP for a free attack, then proceeded to use up his action to drain some life from the acolyte. The Keeper managed to keep her stunned long enough so that the party can kill her without stressing the party. Once the real threat was defeated, we proceeded to finish off the two infested human being off. Once the fight was over with they continued down the hallway, collecting any loot along the way until they reach the first room.

    Darkest Dungeon 4_29_2020 9_33_58 AM.png
Well I was expecting a fight, but not with... whatever these things are. I didn't recognize them, so I assume they're from a mod.

Okay it's official, I hate these fucking things. The fight begins like a normal one. I decided to attack the birds, since I didn't know what they were capable of. I took a look at their resistance, and I soon realized that I had little to no chance of actually blighting them, so I was forced to do regular attacks. Every time I would attack, they would dodge a lot or the heroes would miss. To make matters worse, they specialize in doing heavy stress damage. I managed to kill one bird, but in it's dying breath it spawned a fucking parasite who immediately took a turn and landed a crit on the leper, doing phat damage, and causing stress. The next turn rolls in and the parasite lands yet another fucking crit on the leper again. Now the party is stressed, and I got to deal with the other bird and this parasite. Luckily for the party, they managed to kill the enemies without further casualties.

Once the battle was over there was a pristine fountain, capable of stress healing one hero. Seeing as how Zephnir was very stressed, I allowed him to drink from it. Seeing as there was nothing left to this room, the party began moving forward.

While walking down the hallway, the party manages to scout ahead once again and find out that there's a trap ahead of them. Unable to avoid it Zephnir decides to try and dissarm the trap (He has a 70% disarm chance). Seems like luck was on his side, as he managed to disarm the trap, and the party could now move forward into the next room.

An empty room, nothing to frown about. On the bright side, the managed to scout once again, and are able to see what's ahead of them.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_29_2020 10_01_43 AM.png
They can see that there will be two blockades ahead of them, but luckily they bright two shovels for this very reason. They can also see a room battle ahead (The red room) and a treasure room ahead (The yellow room). The promise of riches and treasure sounds really good to Zephnir, so they continue forward.
Knowing what's ahead is really helpful. Knowing that an enemy is ahead, even more so. Expecting a fight before the next room battle, the heroes prepare themselves for a hallway battle.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_29_2020 10_06_48 AM.png
Oh god, not these things again. Okay, now knowing what the spawns of hell are capable of, I went full throttle on them. The fight was going well over all... until I killed one bird, and a parasite spawned again. It immediately took it's turn and landed yet another critical hit, but on Zephnir this time. I was staring to think that this thing only landed crits, until it took it's turn again in the next round, and did base damage. In other words, RNG was not kind to me. I killed the dogs, then managed to kill the last bird.

With the fight now out of the way, the party made their way to the third room.

Knowing it's going to be a room battle, our heroes prepare before entering.

When I saw these three I was happy, I thought "Oh thank god, an easy fight, that I can abuse heals on". But then I remembered that these things were capable of multiplying and making a giant one. So I had to be careful.

These slimes aren't very strong, but they are annoying as they are fully capable of stalling and multiply. Every time I kill one, the smiles attack the heroes and reproduce. The heroes managed to nearly kill them all, but before the slime dies, it unleashed it's ultimate attack, and creates a huge slime.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_29_2020 10_26_25 AM.png
Now I gotta kill this big boy, but he keeps creating more smaller slimes. It takes a while, but the heroes finally manages to defeat all slimes.

Seeing as there nothing left to do in the room, the leave, proceeding to the next.

Thanks to the last scout, they're aware of a hallway fight ahead of them. With no hesitation, our heroes proceed.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_29_2020 10_35_52 AM.png
    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! More of these things!?!?

Tanking RNG, our heroes were able to go first, and kill them before they can reproduce. An unevenful fight that lasted one turn.

Feeling good about themselves, the heroes continue moving forward. Collecting loot along the way, and clearing the blockade with a shovel. Reaching the end of the the hallway, they move into the next room.

    Darkest Dungeon 4_29_2020 10_41_55 AM.png
Another creature I'm unaware of. Assuming this is also a modded creature, I decide to attack the spiders first, to not allow them to harm my party with heavy DOT damage. It seems like I made the right choice, as the unknown creature began buffing the spiders, but it was already too late for them. Our heroes defeated the spiders, and the stag was the only one standing. It kept ramming into our front lines, which were then healed. It didn't take long, until the stag died as well. Once dead, a happy little notification appeared on my screen.

    Quest Completed!

It seems like that was the last room battle in the wealds. But instead of sending the heroes back, I stayed back for one more minute to open a chest. Finding some heirlooms, they decide to head back to the estate. Stressed out by this adventure.

Not a bad haul, I'd say. Could do with some more gold though, but that's just greed talking.

Now for quirks: Darkest Dungeon 4_29_2020 10_52_36 AM.png
It seems like the wretch was the only one who's available for a quirk. Oh well, time to see what he gets.

    Aaaaand he's compulsive.

Welp, This marks the end of week 4. If you guys have any thought or ideas, or just want to add new heroes, it's open to all. And if you want to talk about to game, I'm still down.

When I'm there, we do pretty well. When I'm not there, we do poorly. Coincidence? I think so.

    Week 5 Beginning:

    Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 8_11_56 PM.png
Hear ye! Hear ye!: Well, I recognize seeing this while downloading some mods, so this is foreign to me. What do you guys think, do you think this ghost is trying to help us, or...

After yesterdays adventure with Sethals hero, we've managed to earn a good bit of gold. Sadly for us, it probably wont last us long. So to start off the week, let's look into the stage coach. Looks like we have a lucky winner! We found one of @Jeydis "Special Heroes", Mushmush, the clobber. The other heroes I recruited was an occultist, a voivode, and another vestal.

Luckily for us, his skills are mostly good, so I sent Mushmush to the guild hall to teach him a useful skill that help him stay alive. Once that was over with, I decided to send the Wretch to pray for stress relief. I would've sent him else wear, but I have a discount for praying. After verifying that all other heroes were fine, I decided to prepare for our next quest.

Wanting our new guest to shine, I decided to send out our newest member Mushmush, to see if he was adequate enough. I decided to pair him up with a bogatyr for the second front line, and an heiress with an occultist for the back lines.

    Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 8_38_14 PM.png

I decided to send them on a Skirmish quest (90% Room battles), on the coves this time around. So I expect fish people and sea food.

After choosing their provisions, I sent them to their adventure.

    Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 8_44_29 PM.png

Time and time again, our heroes start in an empty room, awaiting for an order that'll soon come. To start off, let us look at the map, and see what we're dealing with.

    Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 8_47_09 PM.png

Luckily for us, It's a straight forward path. This will definitely make things easier. So without further delay, our heroes begin moving forward.

Not scouting ahead, our heroes come across their very first trap. The bogatyr was the unfortunate one who was caught and took a nasty debuff as a penalty. Luckily, that was the only hazard in the first hallway, making their way to the door, they enter the first room.

Either lucky, or unfortunate, the first room was empty and devoid of any life. Seeing nothing else to do, they continue moving forward.

Not sure how to feel about the last room, our heroes procees to continue marching forwar. Having yet to scout ahead, the heroes were unable to realize they were walking into an ambush.

    Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 8_57_46 PM.png

And here we meet our first fish person, and he sure as hell wont be the last. The accolyte managed to stress out the heiress a bit, but beyond that, she didn't do much. Mushmush taking some damage in the fight, decides that the best course of action was to flex his muscles on his enemies to regain some lost HP (and for some reason, it works... okay Jey). The fight didn't last long in the end.

After the fight there was only some crates around the hallway, once looted, they made their way towards the next room.

    Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 9_06_13 PM.png
Eyy their first room battle. And it seems like theres a special fish among the enemies (must be a mod). That new fish went first, and I was both exited and scared to see what he was capable pf doing. Aparently, I should've been terrified, cause his first attack gave the viking a nasty disease with a heavy penalty.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 9_12_55 PM.png
No longer wanting to see what else this thing has in store I immediately targeted it every chance I had. Once that fish died, I had to deal with two tanky ass fish, and a a strong backline. Sadly it was uneventful. Once the fight was over, the heroes looted their corpses, and moved on to the next room, hoping not to see that special fish again.

I should've chosen my words more carefully. Cause when our heroes walcked out of the room they immediately got into a hallway battle with another one of those special fishes, and to make matters worse, our heroes were surprised, so their formation was switched a bit.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 9_23_41 PM.png
Luckily we go first, so I took the liberty of targeting that damned fish. Sadly, it went after the first guy, and immediately gave Mushmush that plague... great. Once the front line had a turn, the quickly dispatched the fish. The undead pirate moved forward then shot his gun at the mushroom man, besides that, it didn't do anything interesting. once the pirate died, the fight became uneventful.

They came across their first road block, but they brought two shovels for this very situation. Once dispatched they made their way to the door.

Another empty room. At least this time, I was happy I didn't see any fish people. Not after the last few... sometimes I wonder if people are actually reading this. Welp, seeing nothing else to do, they began moving forward once again.

For once, our heroes have stumbled into an empty hallway, no traps, no ambushes, and no loot. it was weird. Leaving them with no other option, they made their way to the next room

Eyy another room battle, I wonder if this is the last one. Only one way to find out.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 9_41_04 PM.png
I'm just glad that these weren't modded fish or anything. Just normal ass fish people. The enemy back lines went first and they decided to buff their allies, and stress our party members, a bad start for us.

I swear to god, I gotta watch what I say. Let me give you a run down of what went down. During the fight, the enemy back line were buffing this one fish. He was so buffed that he had a 75% damage bonus, which is painful. Seeing that fish as a treat, I decide to target it. And by god, that bastard of a fish kept dodging every fucking attack i'd send his way. For a whole 4 turns, he dodged every attack. He got his once, but he still lived with a small amount of HP. Sadly, their back line healed the fish back up. and he kept dodging for another three rounds. After a long period of time, and sending two heroes (Mushmush, and the viking) to deaths door and recovering, that one fish finally died at round 11! which is crazy. Once that unholy fish was dead, the others dropped like flies.
[Note: A round is when every one in the fight, heroes and foes, take their action.]

Once they were dead, the opened the chest with a key, and found extra loot. After they were done looting, they began making their way to the next room.

Hooray, they finally managed to scout for once. And as we can see, there is only one more room battle. After that last one though, I didn't want to see any more fish. But knowing the cove though, there was obviously more fish.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 9_58_42 PM.png

Moving forward, they loot up whatever they can get their hands on, while making their way towards the last needed room. Once at the trap though, the viking was forced to attempt to deactivate it, having the highest deactivation chance. Seems like 70% was not in his favor, he sprung the trap, and failed to deactivate it. He was not dangerously stressed, and I am forced to be careful for our last fight. That trap being the last obstacle, they made their way to the last needed door.

Thanks to scouting ahead, it was no surprise to see a fight in here. It consisted of a tank two damage dealers and a support. Here's to hoping that this one will end quickly.
    Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 10_06_39 PM.png

Well, the fight was easier than the last one, but it was a bit annoying. The fight wasn't anything special, but once the tank was the only one standing, he began dodging like the last guy. He would get hit every once in a while, but he's still tanky. He also would land a few critical hits, but nothing too severe. by round 7, they were all defeated.

Once they were defeated, the Quest complete notification popped up, I slapped the return to hamlet button quickly.

Loot: Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 10_14_58 PM.png A bit less than I'm used too, but probably my greed again.

Quirks: Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 10_15_02 PM.png This time around three heroes were eligible for quirks. Let's see what they got.

Darkest Dungeon 4_30_2020 10_15_08 PM.png A few bad ones, a few good ones. Average over all.

And this makes the end of week 5. Remember, if you guys want to add more characters, feel free to do so. And if you have any questions or just wanna talk about the game, feel free to do so as well. Leave a comment, and tell me what you think about all this as well, if you wish of course. Well, see you guys next week.

Sorry for the double post, but I don't really have a choice in the matter, I've waited long enough.

    Darkest Dungeon 5_2_2020 3_37_22 PM.png

    Week 6 Beginning:

    Darkest Dungeon 5_2_2020 3_39_03 PM.png
Hear Ye, Hear Ye!: It looks like the Flagellant came by. He's a front line healer that specializes in making others bleed. For those of you who don't know, flagellation is the act of causing oneself to bleed in order to "Clean" themselves. It's a religious belief, and this guy takes it to the extreme. A free healer, no mind if I do.

So last week was... something. I've gained a hatred for fish, and two heroes have a special plague. I want to cure it, but it seems like I need to kill a boss to do so, so I'm stuck with it till then. Let's start off the week the same way as all the others. by looking in the stage coach for new heroes. It seems like we're in luck again boys. We found @Captain Comet "Special Hero", Comet, the alchemist (I catualy found two alchemist, but I'm only hiring one). I also recruited a Thorn, a Musketeer, and an Apostate.

Seeing as how some of Comet's skills are inadequate, I sent the alchemist to the guild to teach them better skills, while I was there, I taught some other heroes some skills. After a few training sessions, I noticed that we were starting to go broke... whoops. There were still a few heroes who were stressed, but I couldn't afford everyone's expenses, so I only sent the occultist to meditate for stress relief. After that, I set off to look for a quest.

As per standard procedure, we to see our new "Special Hero" shine. I decided to partner Comet up with our new Flagellant and Thorn for the front lines, and our new apostate for the back line. One thing I learned from the Apostate, is that they buff the party, but only if they're below 50% HP. So this'll be a fun run. I decided to send them off to another skirmish on the ruins, but this time, it's a medium sized dungeon (So it'll take longer to do). Picking their provisions, they set off to an adventure.

Once again, our new heroes start their adventure in an empty room. Let's look at the map to see what we're dealing with.
    Darkest Dungeon 5_2_2020 4_17_17 PM.png
It seems like this is going to cause a problem. It looks like the path splits from the get go, and an equal amount of rooms as well. Welp, I guess we're going to have to back track a bit in this mission. Since it doesn't make a difference where I start, I decided to go right, cause right is always the right answer... no i'm not taking that back.

As we walk into the hallway, Comet immediately walks into an ambush. They probably heard my shitty joke, and now want me dead.

I have absolutely no idea what that thing in the middl is, and due to my last encounter with the fish, I decided to target that thing first before it does something Imma regret.
    Darkest Dungeon 5_2_2020 4_27_16 PM.png
So another thing I learned about the apostate, is that It can give another party member an extra turn, but at a cost. So what I did was made my Flagellant take two actions in one turn to kill hat weird looking thing. Once it was dead, I killed the other two creatures with ease.

Once the fight was over, they made their way towards the door, not finding any loot along the way.

Boy oh boy, it was empty as heck. On the bright side though, someone managed to scout ahead. It was good to have a heads up, but it seems like that some somehow managed to scout the ENTIRE DUNGEON.
    Darkest Dungeon 5_2_2020 4_49_20 PM.png

An unexpected turn of events, but a pleasant one. With a smile, on their faces, Comet and his squad begin moving forward.

Walking outside the room, they come across a stack of books. Feeling risky, the flagellant opens one up. The risk actually pays off, and gains a new trait "Yokai Slayer", which is definitely from a mod. Seeing nothing else of value, They decide to head towards their first room battle.

    Darkest Dungeon 5_2_2020 4_57_42 PM.png
Okay, another one of these things, and an acolyte. If our heroes go first i might be able to make this fight easy. And as it turns out, they did go first, which got me to kill that strange thing, sadly the acolyte still lived which caused some heroes to get stressed. The brawler (the one with claws), managed to get a few crits in, which made our party much more stressed, but we were able to leave the fight with few casualties.

Looting what they could, they left the room in search for their next room battle.

While walking down the hallway, Comet and the other began complaining about being "Hungry" and ask me to "Feed" them. Not wanting them to be upset, I decided to feed them their fill, and forced them to continue moving forward. It was when they approached a trap that they have already spotted. Comet, being the person with the highest disarm chance, he was sent forward to deactivate it. Seems like 70% was in his favor, as he successfully disarmed the trap. Once disarmed, they were able to get to the next door.

    Darkest Dungeon 5_2_2020 5_18_03 PM.png
Knowing there was a battle ahead of them, they managed to get a surprise round of the enemy. Taking advantage of the situation, I forced the flagellant to take two turns, and killed the back lines before they could become a problem. Once dead, the front line was the only thing standing left. It took us a while, and a few parries, but we were able to defeat the front line. Looting everything Comet can get his grubby mutated hand on, they made their way to the next room battle.

Knowing there was a trap ahead, Comet was forced to attempt to disarm it ahead. Luck shines in his favor, once more, disarming the trap with no casualties. With that out of the way, they entered the next room.

    Darkest Dungeon 5_2_2020 5_30_32 PM.png
This fight didn't look all that special, except for that weird looking punching bag in the enemy back lines. Not knowing what it was, I decided to instigate it. As it turns out, that thing was a two headed bat hanging upside down. The moment I attacked it, it screamed at the attacker, causing them to take some stress damage. Other than the bat, the heroes suffered no real casualties. Looting what they could, they now had to back track all the way towards the beginning, in order to progress.

Nothing serious happened while walking, Comet and other once again complained about wanting food. I'd rather them not be stressed so I gave in and feed them.

Empty, literally nothing of value here. Knowing this was gonna happen, they immediately left the room without a second thought.

The moment they left the room, the party ONCE AGAIN complained about being hungry. It was at this point where I was getting annoyed. How many times do you expect me to feed you? Stop being hungry. Especially you, @Captain Comet, you glutton.

After feeding the troglodytes, they walked towards the predicted hallway battle.
    Darkest Dungeon 5_2_2020 6_07_13 PM.png
Yay, we managed to surprise them, and got a surprise round. And looking at the enemies composition, it looked fairly simple. And simple, it was. all enemies died in round 2. Good stuff. With nothing else standing in their way, they were able to go into the next room.

This room was empty, just like Comets stomach. Wanting to go to the next one quickly, the left the empty room.

I swear this game is better with kinect. I make a comment about Comet being hungry, and the party once again asks to be feed. I'm running out of food here. Hunger, aparently being this hallways obstacle, they made it to the next empty room.

What, I said this room was empty... nosy little bugger.

Making their way towards the final room battle, they only had to deal with one more hallway fight.
    Darkest Dungeon 5_2_2020 6_19_31 PM.png
A simple fight, really. As long as I can avoid getting the flagellant any more stressed out. Quickly I managed to kill the bone guy, who was capable of making the flagellant more stressed. After he died, the two brawlers died off quickly. Once they were dealt with, they entered the final room.

A room filled with only giant spiders. IRL This would freak me out, but in this game, it make me giddy, knowing that this won't be a challenge. Hell, we even got a surprise round. I was correct in assuming so. The spiders quickly died due to blood loss, thanks to the flagellant. Once they died, I got the "Quest complete" notification, but I decided to stay for various reasons. The first, being to sit down, and use a campfire.

Note: Camping is an option that adventurers can take. But they must be in an empty room, and they need to have fire wood in inventory. In a camp, heroes can take special actions that can either heal them, relieve stress, or buff them. There are a specific number of actions that heroes can take, and they all share this number of actions.

It was while camping that I realized that this party has no stress relieving camping skills. Oh well, at least they ate some food... again. After a few actions were made, they went to sleep. Luckily they weren't ambushed while sleeping, and they got a good morning scout.

OOH!!!! It seems like the morning scout has uncovered a secret room. Secret rooms are rooms that can only be revealed with a scout. They always have good loot inside.
Note: The secret room is the yellow one with a star.
    Darkest Dungeon 5_2_2020 6_39_58 PM.png

WHOOOOOOOOO, we're swimming in money boys.
    Darkest Dungeon 5_2_2020 6_48_59 PM.png
