Those of you with laptops, how do you usually prefer to browse? Do you use a mouse or the mouse pad? I personally cannot for the life of me use the mouse pad even if it's just for quickly looking through something - the USB wired mouse (no wireless mouse yet) is my baby that I take with me whenever my laptop comes along. It's a pain otherwise.

Mousepads always make my fingers feel weird, so I kinda hate using them. Thankfully my laptop is a touchscreen and I bought a mouse, so I almost never have to use the mousepad. XD Though the touchscreen has accidentally made me touch a non-touchscreen's screen before and go "Why isn't anything- oh."

Mouse, I can't deal with mousepads, I always manage to screw something up if I use those xD

I use my mouse pad all the time, except when I draw. Usually a mouse pad feels really weird on my fingers, but I have a macbook, which has a really nice feeling mouse pad. So I have no problem with using it for everything but things like drawing or intense games (though I'm typically not really into intense games).

I use a wireless mouse, any other method is just plain annoying.

I prefer using a wireless mouse. I never got the hang of using a mousepad.

On my Mac, I use my wireless mouse if I have a hard surface and enough space to move said mouse (school desks usually don't give me enough room, orz), otherwise I go with my trackpad. On my other computer I have a wireless keyboard with a mousepad, which can be annoying sometimes because it's sensitive and I can't fix its sensitivity at all.

I prefer using a mouse, but since I tend to lose all my wireless mouses, the mouse pad has been my mouse for the past 7 years.

I use a mouse. It's so much easier to use than the mouse pad and it is so much better for gaming that the mouse pad.

To be honest, I use my touch pad all the time when I'm just messing around, but I can't stand playing games on it. It just feels weird to reach over with a mouse after not having one for like six months, so it's just kinda ingrained in my mind that all I need is a quick two-finger flick to scroll down instead of reaching all the way over to my mouse... /lazy

When my laptop is at my desk, I always have a USB mouse plugged in, and use that all the time. When I'm elsewhere with it, I usually use the trackpad. Needless to say, I prefer an actual mouse over the trackpad. There are certain things that are very difficult, if not next to impossible to accomplish with just the trackpad.

I'm so used to touchpads by now that the only thing I miss about usb mice is the scroll wheel. I know there's possibly some kind of gesturing capabilities for touchpads to emulate this...but I still prefer to use actual wheel rather than gestures.

I mainly use the mousepad on my laptop, which works perfectly fine, except for some little things. Sometimes you just need a mouse, so I bought a wireless one. I still use the mousepad most of the time, but I can always switch when I need to :)

The touchpad on my Mac for sure. Mouses are too annoying sometimes.

I think if I used a mouse pad for too long my fingerprints would get burned off...

I use a mouse on my computer. Because I play so many games, I can't stand using the mousepad. As such, I've grown used to using a mouse, and it feels weird to use the mousepad.

I've grown accustomed tot he touchpad. When it comes to most gaming though, I have to use the standard mouse. Touchpads are okay to use for a lot of RPG based games, but not shooters.... unless you want carpal tunnel.

Mm, yes. I usually use the touchpad when I'm just browsing but if I'm playing a game that involves mouse control then a mouse is in dire need. :D

Because I play PC games, an actual mouse is a must for me xD
