Least Favorite Gen 2 Pokemon?

How about Stantler?

Sure, Dunsparce is being ignored by Nintendo more than any other Pokémon. And yeah, Unown serves no other purpose than a pure gimmick. But what in the world is the deal with Stantler? It's nothing, it is absolutely nothing. It was just a Pokémon that was created purely because the games were released around Christmas time.

And yeah, for the same reason Delibird was created, but at least I can remember Delibird. Stantler is a Pokémon so forgotten, that nobody cares about it at all.

 

Stantler was nothing.... nothing important, only for Pokédex and then there is Ledyba and Ledian which i dont think i should explain this one.
Unown? Only collection A to Z Unown.

 

Yes, although Ledyba and Ledian are simply the somewhat required early in the game Bug type Pokémon. But even then, unlike others like Butterfree and Scolipede, Ledian completely fails in its one and only job: Early access to a fully evolved Pokémon to give you some extra power. Because Ledian sucks. 100% sucks.

And, speaking of Unown, in essence, I don't really mind the gimmick of collect all their forms, if only there was a good reward for completing that task. No, instead, after filling your PC box up with useless letters, you gain access to... Another two forms... Yaaaaaay -_-
(Seriously, you could've at least given me an award, or even a little star with Unown's Pokédex entry, but nope)

 

Pretty much whats been said, though as a kid I did sorta enjoy the hunt for the unknown forms. The Stantler thing is spot on though, no one really looks fondly back to their all powerful stantler. -3-

Everyone else seems to have it covered. Stantler is useless, and on top of that they're a pain to try and catch. Delibird and Unown both suck. Dunsparce could have been extremely cool, but it doesn't evolve.

I'd just like to take a moment to add Smoochum. Like everyone loved Jynx right? Let's give it hideous, useless, pre-evolution with a really weird and almost gross concept! Because everyone loved Jynx.
What if that one Jynx fan shows up and yells at me for this or something... That'd be awkward. xD

 

Unown is only useful for the Unown report thingy. But I absolutely cannot stand Hoppip. Just when you are about to KO it, it uses Synthesis. And then I think "Bro, you just used a whole bunch of splash attacks and NOW you want to use synthesis!?!"

 

Yeah, I understand. That happened to me all the time. Hopip Gets on my nerves as well, but it has a special place in my heart as well.

 

Hopip is typically annoying to me never let me continue my journey....
