Left or right brained?

Well, I know myself by ceating a lot, since I started creating when I was 3 years old.

I swear that I hate this concept. The idea that someone uses one side of their brain more than others annoys me because it's completely false... Seriously, I think everyone uses it equally because the idea of stupid.

 

I thought left side controls logic? Either way, I've never been the biggest fan of this theory. Either way, I'm more logical than I am creative, if you will.

 

I'm more logical than anything, at times I'll be able to think of something creative but that's more on the uncommon side.

 

It's the other way around, actually. Supposedly, according to that view. It may or may not be totally accurate.

I'm not sure if the brain can truly be subdivided into those categories, though the brain is roughly bilaterally symmetrical. And there are some characteristics that tend to be more evident in people than others.

Though, I suppose to answer your original question, I am heavily 'left-brained' (I use that term in quotes because, while it does describe a type of person, it isn't necessarily tied to a certain half of the brain). Logic and rationality dictate all my choices and I have no time for emotions, nor a place to give them - in truth, I openly shun emotions. In regards to new ideas, they do not often come - I often have to force myself to be creative to get anywhere, and even then that is not a guarantee.

To me, virtually everything can be explained in a logical and ordered manner. If I've found something that isn't, it's either because I don't know of the steps behind it, or it simply is not a logical thing.

 

I'm more right-sided and logical. I'm borderline creative, but realistically I just like the mechanics of how things work. I think that's way more fun.

I guess this means I'm left brained, as I think I'm pretty creative.

 

I'm a little bit of both, I believe. Which side I use depends on the situation I'm facing.

 

I'm More Right Brained like how i'm right Handed. I'm more logical than me using my emotions. I hate showing my emotions really.
