Legendary Portals

On your journey through Hoenn, whether it's soaring or simply meeting certain requirements you will come across these mini portals, which you can reach your hand in to, and a Legendary will pop out.

Now, the most interesting thing about this is the fact that these seem incredibly close to the portals Hoppa is creating in the new movie, and they match Hoppa's rings perfectly.

There is no other explanation that comes to mind, but what is your thoughts on this? What does it mean and is there more to it?

I really like this, because if Hoppa is bringing the Legendary Pokémon out of time or their world to this one, it symbolizes why they have their old battle themes instead of new, redone ones. Pretty cool.

Theory time:

What if Looker and Hoppa are connected? What if Looker came to the Hoenn region to investigate Hoppa, but coming in contact with it somehow caused his memory loss. I believe some one said he fell in to the water, so maybe he was in a plane when Hoppa attacked. Maybe eventually we'll get some sort of event that will trigger where we can help Looker discover the true plot behind Hoppa and what reason it has for bringing all of those legendaries.

Oooh that would be pretty awesome if it ends up being true. I do hope they do something with Looker and this here seems like a good thing and as to why there's portals with legends popping out of them.

oooooh that actually sounds really epic. And according to the X & Y event of Hoopa (I watched this on Youtube) each of those rings can increase in size and unleashes it's full power. o-o'

Something to involve Looker would be awesome! I'm looking forward to being able to (hopefully) receive Hoopa. It would be interesting to know why Hoopa's creating this portals too... Maybe Hoopa has plans to use these Legends... Or maybe it's just mischief.

I would love for Looker to have more purpose. He's kinda just been slapped on the end of the games after D/P/Pt, so I'd love it if we could get some actual substantial build on his character. I'd also love to get Hoopa, the typing, moves, and everything for it seems awesome. :O

I like how the portals have the Legendaries' themes from the region you first encountered them in, such as the Legendary Beasts having their theme from GSC. It's a bit out of place at times, but it's pretty cool! I really liked hearing Giratina's theme again while fighting it.

I do have a theory of my own involving Looker, though-

After the events of Platinum and BW/2, he himself fell through one of Hoopa's rings, transporting him from that dimension into the one from ORAS/XY. In doing so, he lost his memory, and washed up in the Battle Resort before piecing parts of his memory back together and getting back with the International Police before heading to Kalos for the events of XY.

It's not an incredibly solid theory, but I do like how different dimensions is pretty much canon in the Pokémon universe now. It's really interesting.
