Whenever you catch a Legendary with a signature move, do you tend to keep the signature move because hey, it's a move only it can know, or do you delete it for a better move?

For example, Latios' signature move is Luster Purge. Would you delete it for a more powerful move like Psychic, or would you keep it?

For me it depends on the move itself and not the actual Pokémon. If the signature move is appealing, but not that useful, I will most likely replace it. For example, Darkrai's signature move is Dark Void, a move that puts opponents to sleep. Darkrai also learns Hypnosis, another sleep inducing move. Both have the same effect except Darkrai's signature move is far greater as it has 20% more accuracy and can affect more than Pokémon on the opposing side. So in this situation I'd keep the move.

On the other hand, Zygarde has an exclusive move called Land's Wrath, a physical ground type attack that effects all Pokémon in battle. However, Zygarde can also learn Earthquake via TM. Earthquake has the exact same effect as Land's Wrath except that it deals 10 more base power than the exclusive move. In this case, I'd just replace Land's Wrath with Earthquake as it is clearly the better move choice even if its not exclusive.

Hmm, when I used to actually use legendaries I would often keep the special moves, even if they were a massive hindrance to the Pokémon such as Roar of Time. I thought, "eh, they are a special move, they must be really good." Now I don't use legendaries except for the really interesting ones (like Meloetta) that no one uses. Thus, they know the special move because they don't really leave the box.

A lot of the time, Legend sig moves aren't so great in the metagame. Hoopa's Hyperspace Hole might be, though. It's only 80 power, but if it can hit through moves like Protect, that's a pretty darn good effect.

It kinda depends. Sometimes, I keep it to see a flashy animation, or just to say I don't have the same move on multiple Pokémon. Sometimes, I delete it because I need those extra points of damage/accuracy/PP.

Man...sometimes. Though most of the time I don't care to bother using legendaries at all, so I'll probably keep it, yeah.

It depends hw I'm going to use it. In-game, I'll probably keep the signature move on it but if I wanted to use it competitively and there was a better move, I'd replace it. I don't really use legends though.

I usually keep them because using legendaries isn't really my thing in the first place, so for the most part I won't use them long enough to need to replace moves.
Unless the move is bad I guess I'd stick with it for the exclusivity.

I don't really use legendaries so it doesn't really matter whether the move is useful or not. I like to keep them just to see those cool attack animations. Buut, I didn't keep Latias' Mist Ball because it doesn't look that great. It's just hurling a ball of feathers? How is that a psychic move? XD

I don't use Legendaries too much anyways. I keep their special moves on them since it is their special move. I feel like without it, it just seems less, well, special.
