Another popular gaming series is LEGO, with games such as Lego Batman, Lego Avengers, and Lego Harry Potter. What do you think of these games? Which are your favorites?

Mine has to be Lego Batman 2. I played this for hours on end with a friend a few years back. My favorite part has to be the carnival!

I think I know the problem with lego games: they made far too many in too small of a period of time. I mean, I loved the first few Lego games, but then they just started making too many and they went out of control, really. I'm still a huge lego Star Wars fan. Great game.

I'm not a big fan of Lego Games. The only one I purchased was Lego Batman 2 during one of my comics period, to play Superman. ^_^

I've played Lego Star Wars (both the original and the new trilogy) and Lego Batman. While I have Lego Indiana Jones as well, I never really played it. But the other two were pretty incredible games with cool gameplay and hilarious "dialogue," haha. Definitely a great part of childhood. :)

My absolute favorite, of all the Lego Games, is Lego Star Wars. Especially the complete saga. I've played that game hours on end, ahhh.. I also spent a million hours looking for all the Minikits. Damn it Blue Minikits, just come out!

Either that, or Lego Marvel. I haven't played it much, but I love the mechanics and the layout of it. Besides, I'm a huge fan of Marvel, soo....

Throughout history, there is a huge problem with LEGO games: there's only one that's actually good or noteworthy, and that would be LEGO Star Wars (doesn't really matter which part).

Any game after that? They basically use the same engine and the same pattern of play, so if you've played one, you've played them all - there is nothing truly new brought to the table.
Any game before that? Riddled with all sorts of small bugs that, in some cases, make the game either extremely difficult or impassable (this is especially notorious with the Flash games that used to be on their website in times past - no clue if they're still there now).

Don't get me wrong - LEGO Star Wars is fantastic - but I really wish that LEGO had some good and innovative programmers. I only own two LEGO video games that I remember (I might have more, but if I do, they are not worth of mention), being LEGO Star Wars I-III, and a real-time park-builder game akin to the Sims, both on PC (the latter one of which I've never passed the final level - only just very close - because I haven't a clue how the grading rubric works in specifics). I have no interest in any others, as there is little new enjoyment to derive from them.

I have a few but I haven't really been amazed by any that came out on ps3/xbox 360 onwards. I liked playing Bionicle Heroes, and Lego Racer 1 & 2 waaayyyy back in the day. I own Pirates Of The Caribbean, The Lego Movie game and Avengers, and it really is true when you say that once you've played one you've played them all. I have some Lego games that I got for PS Vita through PS+, but they're such horrible ports of the 3DS games that I simply removed them after a few minutes playing.
