Let's talk about legos. Did you play play with leeks as a kid, and do you still play with them? What was your favorite series of legos? What is your fondest memory of legos?

I have always loved bionicles, and I love them so much that I bought one recently. I used to be a huge nerd about them. Then hero factory came, I won't go into that. The newer ones are not as cool, but it's nice none the less.

I inherited pretty much all of my Uncle's Lego, including a pack of over 1000 bricks. I was also a fan of the Mega Bloks "Pyrates" series, having these sets:

I used to play with legos, we once got a huge bin of legos from someone and would just play.
But I was never fully into to them to ask for lego sets. It was just something fun to do with my family.

I've had plenty of legos as a child, but never really sets. I made things as a pleased and honestly left them around. Btw, legos when you step on them are a nightmare. Aish, really though, legos are so cool, make 3D things! Ahhhh.

Star Wars Legos were a large part of my childhood. It was cool to put little armies together. I also had a couple of Bionicles and had one of those boxes that just had a bunch of pieces in them.

Also on the topic of Lego, I find it interesting how some people say the plural differently to others.
I mean, I say 'One Lego brick. Two Lego bricks.' or 'One piece of Lego. Two pieces of Lego.'
Whereas, others would say 'One Lego. Two Legos.' or 'Some Legos. Lot's of Legos.'

Bruh. Legos were like 60% of my childhood. They were some of my favorite toys and best ways to kill time. I currently still have 2 large tubs of Bionicles under my bed, two desk drawers of Lego Star Wars stuff, and a smaller contain of miscellaneous Legos in the basement. I used to spend literal days holed up in my room or the basement waging Bionicle wars or building racecars and racing them Fast and Furious style.

Legos were the thing for me. Hell, I'm still buying some, around my birthday and at christmas. Sadly I've had to dump quite a lot of it, but at one stage my favourite sets were the bionicles, vikings, anything creator, and exo-force. <3

Aww, man. Dem Bionicles. I got each one in the Black variety up through the first five or so iterations. The first one with three-fingered claws, the upgraded one of the same kind, the one that could ball up into a sphere... those were da bom. I use the phrase 'da bom' because of the timeframe I was playing with them, just fyi.

As for regular bricky legos, I spent a good chunk of my childhood with those. Not often the product placement kinds like the star wars and the superheroes and whatnot, but I had a good variety of generic fill-ins, mostly from explorer sets. Desert, underwater, and moon stand out to me the most. My parents still have them all: a couple tens of thousands or so bricks that will eventually be passed along to my offspring as well as my nephews and nieces.

As far as stepping on legos goes... boo hoo? I used to just trample across them barefoot and be like "meh". I mean yeah, I'd walk on empty carpet given the even choice, but I'd rather walk across a 5-foot diameter mess of legos than around it. Apparently that's my superpower.

I love Legos, and I would love to create anytime I come across a pile of bricks. I do not play as much due to other commitments but I do have a Lego Creationary that I play with my sister.
