Simply put, which Pokémon spinoff game is your favorite? Do you love adventuring through the land as a Pokémon in Mystery Dungeon or are you more of a fan of the casual spinoffs like Art Academy? Discuss!

Pokémon Snap! It was so unique and was really fun to go around taking pictures of Pokémon. I love how they all acted and reacted to things like apples.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon by far. Time/Darkness/Sky are my favorite games.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, by a landslide. So much to do, lots of Pokémon to use and several dungeons to access, some of which had insanely powerful opponents to battle. There was very little to dislike about it.

This is making me want to give Battle Trozei another go, though.

EoT/D/S was the best spinoff game in my opinion, but I haven't played the Ranger games and I've heard they're pretty good.

Also worth noting is Gale of Darkness, which has some fabulous music. Miror B theme hype?

Going to have to go with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red/Blue Rescue Team here.

The reason I choose this over Explorers is because it gave me more enjoyment. I had lots of fun trying to do everything I could, and not to mention, I knew quite a few other people who owned the game as well. Explorers was fun too, but it just wasn't at the same level as Rescue Team for me.

The Mystery Dungeon games always have been very special to me, they're so different from what you'd expect. And it's great :D

While the Mystery Dungeon games (discounting Gates to Infinity this go round, since I haven't played that one in full yet) are probably my favorite spin-off games in the franchise, I would actually like to say that Pokémon Channel and Hey You, Pikachu! are very close behind. I've never actually played the latter of those two despite still owning my N64, but the music in both games always give me little rushes of nostalgia in a similar vein to titles like Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64, and I like the more casual gameplay styles and mechanics. The only con with Pokémon Channel was how short it was despite there being a lot of items (such as the Nice Cards) to collect, but the concept was one of my favorites.

My favorite spinoff would most likely be Pokémon Conquest, with PMD: Explorers of Sky following a close second.

My favourite spin-offs are Pokémon Art Academy, Pokémon Ranger Shadows of Almia (that's the ONLY Ranger game I still love) and the PMD games (bar Gates to Infinity, which I've not played and have no plans to do so).

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue/Red Rescue Team. I especially loved the GBA version, and I liked these over their many sequels because I loved the whole build up that was there before you fought a legendary, the way they each had their own dungeon. It was pretty sweet.

I love the Mystery Dungeon Explorers games, maybe even more than the main Pokémon games themselves. I have Explorers of Time and Explorers of Sky. I have to say Explorers of Sky is my favorite because of the adorable new starters and exciting extra chapters. :)

Pokémon X D is an amazing game. I don't think they can top it just because of how awesome it is.

I like the Pokepark series, but I love the Pokémon Puzzle series. Those games are always addictive to me and I always come back to them. It really needs another game.

The Pokémon Ranger series and Mystery Dungeon has always been my favorite spinoff series equally. It's hard for me to determine which one I enjoy more so over the other. I love both story plots and the features of the game not to mention I enjoy the character designs and characters in general. With that said I picked both of them as my favorite spinoffs.

    The Mysyery Dungeon Games, specifically Explorers of Sky. I've played it so many times, I've lost count, and I still cry at the end ;-;
Another noteworthy one is Conquest. That was very..different, and I liked it.

I enjoyed Mystery Dungeon and the Ranger series the most, both action packed with emotion (cries because explorers of the sky ending)

How have I not replied to this yet.

I am in love with both Explorers of Sky and XD:

When I first heard that EoS was coming out, I worried that I wouldn't enjoy it as much since it was basically the "third version" of EoD/EoT. However, given that it had new features and how I enjoyed all the other "third versions" (I prefer Yellow to RGB, Crystal to GS, Emerald to RS, Platinum to DP, and BW2 to BW) I figured I may like it too. Now I can't even play EoD or EoT because they're not as good with all the additional features and dungeons in EoS. Really love Spinda's Cafe and the special stories <3

As for XD, I was obsessed with Colosseum for some time (it made me enjoy double battles, which I wasn't fond of in RSE/FRLG), so I was excited to hear about a sequel. Ended up enjoying XD far more. The plot, though not as good as Colo's (I really liked that they made the protag. a former member of one of the evil groups; it was a nice change for Pokémon games), was still enjoyable, and the new features really made the game. I absolutely love Bingo and the Battle Sims, and the artificial purifier machine was really, really handy.
