Throughout USUM there's some spots I've discovered doing my US nuzlocke are alright for level grinding, I've trained at all these spots without the use of exp. share as a note. All these location is just by running through the tall grass, no surfing and fishing. Keep in mind these are probably not all the good training spots in the game, these are just the ones I found I felt were good while playing my US nuzlocke that I just wanted to share. Hau'oil Cemetary Noticeable Pokémon: Murkrow, Gastly Level Range: 6-9 This is a place I found myself train in a lot early in the game and Murkrow appeared to the best mon to knock around as it gives a nice amount of exp for being so early in the game. There's also Gastly which is a easy kill due to is poor defense so it'll give you some nice easy exp and both these are very common in the cemetary so it shouldn't be much issue finding them. Route 8 Noticeable Pokémon: Trumbeak Level Range: 17 - 20 There's only one noticeable pokémon on this route but oh boy did it like showing up, Trumbeak is a fairly common encounter here and if you can handle the Supersonic attacks it may sure off you can earn a nice amount of exp at a decent pace. As bonus Trumbeak likes calling for help often it apepars so you may end up getting double up. All other pokémon on this route are generally easy too take down and will provide a modest amount of exp should you choose to take them on too. Malie Garden Noticeable Pokémon: Ledian (day), Aridos (night), Araquanid (day), Masquerain (night), Poliwhirl Level Range: 25 - 28 One thing I can say is watch out for Araquanid as I found that this bug can hit pretty hard and it will most likely take two hits to get down if you're not above its level or have a very powerful pokémon with you. It also likes calling for help so you could get a bad position if you can't handle it on the upside tho double exp. Ledian is no threat but gives a lot of exp due to being an evolve pokémon and Poliwhirl can use Hypnosis so watch out for that in case it decides to spam that. Ariados have Shadow Sneak so keep that in mind especially if you train someone weak to ghost or have low health while up against it. Masquerain's ability Intimidate also have the possibly at making things annoying for you physical attackers Ula'ula Meadow Noticeable Pokémon: Ledian (day), Ariados (night), Oricorio, Ribombee, Floette Level Range: 33 - 36 A loation with a good amount of evolve pokémon and our friend Ledian the easy exp booster returns here and is still just as easy to take down. Ariados still have Shadow Sneak so like in Malie Garden keep that in mind once more if you're training something weak to ghost or have low health. Floette can be annoying to deal with if you're using special moves due to it good sp. def but is generally not a threat in any way to your team unless you got someone very weak to grass moves. Ribombee is fast and can hit hard but it genenrally goes down fast, still be careful with it as it have surprised me before. Oricorio can be very frustating to deal with due to knowing Teeter Dance which is like to use a lot so unless you can deal with confuse spam or know you can oneshot it I suggest giving this one a pass as. Oricorio also likes to cal lfor help and guess what, the help likes spamming Teeter Dance too activating the Dance ability repeating the move once more. Poni Wilds Noticeable Pokémon: Granbull, Gastrodon, Raticate, Pelipper Level Range: 40 - 43 This route have a nice amount of evolved pokémon that give decent exp and you usually always run into one pretty much since the only trash mob in the area is a rare encounter, the one giving the best exp when I trained here was Granbull. If you're pokémon ain't up to level or not really meant for damage dealing you may find yourself have a hard time getting rid of Pelipper and Gastrodon. Mount Lanakila Noticeable Pokémon: Glalie, Absol, Golbat, Sneasel Level Range: 42 - 51 Mount Lanakila have a wide level range from when you first enter the caves till you hit the very last patch of grass on the other side. Making it ideal to train weaker team members too. Glalie and Sneasel appear to be very common here so if you're training pokémon weak to ice I suggest switch training ot let the exp. share handle things if you have that on. Absol, Glalie and Sneasel can found both in and outside the caves while Golbat only appears to be found in the caves. Be careful if you decide to take down the Absols you find, they can have the Super Luck ability and can and will use moves like Psycho Cut and Night Slash that have a high critical ratio as well as Sucker Punch.
